10.4 Grading System Based on the performance, each student will be awarded a final letter grade at the end of the semester for each course. The letter grades and the corresponding grade points are given in Table 1 Grading System for Masters’ Programmes: Grade Marks % Grade Points Outcome B 3.0 Pass B 27 Pass c+ 23 Pass c 20 Pass Cc. 17 Pass D 1.3 Pass Table 1: Grading system The cumulative GPA has been calculated as follows.For each course passed, the ‘Grade Point’ is multiplied by the ‘Credit Hours’ for that course. The sum of this product is calculated for al successfully completed (Pass) courses. This grand total is divided by the total Credit Hours taker until current semester. CGPA is calculated as given below: 5\(CPI x GP) Capa = opr Where, CPi is the Credit Hour of a course ZiCPiis the total Credit Hours registered until current semester (140) GP is the Gracie Point obtained for each course.
