Madonna is a singer, composer and actor who was born in Bay City, Michigan in 1958.

In 1977, she
moved to New York where she hoped to start her singing carrier.
After a few months in New York she met a DJ, whose contacts in Warner Brothers gave Madona the
opportunity she was hoping for.
“Holiday”, which was one of her first songs, became an international hit. She is not afraid to sing
songs that are controversial.
Madonna, whose personal life is always in the news, has two children, Lourdes and Rocco. In 2001
she moved with her family to England where she now lives.
In 2005, her album Confessions on a dance floor went straight to number one forty different
countries, breaking record that had only ever been held by the Beatles
