DEEPAK MISHRA (48) a heart surgeon, is at a physiatrist

counseling. Deepak claims he is hallucinated. He sees dead
people or he thinks they are dead people. He has seen an eleven
year old KID more than frequent. He sees the imaginary people
when he is awake and also in his dreams. The physiatrist PIYUSH
SINGH (50) has asks Deepak to lie down and narrate what he saw
in the latest dream.

Deepak closes his eyes and starts to recollect what he saw in

the dream, Piyush asks Deepak not to close his eyes, but Deepak
insists on closing them as it assists him in getting the details
of the dream.

DEEPAK’S DREAM- Deepak is occupied in a heart surgery. He is

surrounded by his assistant doctors and nurses. The patient on
the table is about to regain his status quo, Deepak’s vision
falls on an object at the other end of the operation theater.
That object is a BOY (11) wearing rugged clothes; he stands with
his head bowed down. Deepak cannot focus on his surgery and
loses his mind. His hands shiver.

Deepak breaths heavily, sweat and Piyush asks Deepak to

come back from the dream and open his eyes. When he does he
realizes that he is Piyush’s dispensary. Before leaving, Deepak
asks Piyush to increase the dosage of his medicines, as he needs
to be stable for his next day’s meeting with the Japanese.
Piyush asks him to take up a routine of exercise to keep his
mind off the kid.

It’s after midnight and the lights at Deepak’s house have

gone dim. In the bedroom, Deepak’s wife NANDINI MISHRA (45) an
Architect, sits in front of the desktop and holds her IPhone to
her ears. We go to her when she is in the middle of the
conversation with her immediate boss—SHEKAR RAJ (48). They are
discussing about an on-going project which has been delayed by
Shekar as he was busy with his North India trip. Shekar is
trying to flirt with Nandini but Nandini has put her foot down
as far as flirting and flings with collogues are concerned. She
is trying to say to him how independent and strong she is and
she doesn’t take give a tiny rats ass for anybody in her life.
She also makes it clear that she is not that kind of a woman who
lets men advantage of her when she is in a miserable condition.

Deepak arrives from the Piyush’s therapy and Nandini asks

him what got him so late. He ignores her and her question like
she means nothing to him, proving that he is still the man of
the house, hurting Nandini’s ego.

The next day, Deepak is in his office weary and thinking

over his hallucinations when MENKA DRISHTI (38), a beautiful
anesthesiologist barges in his office. She asks him to be in his
senses for the meeting and should think about others’ welfare.
As the meeting takes place, Menka leads it and she takes the
Japanese delegates on a tour of the hospital. When one of the
delegates’ questions about the safety measures in the operating
room, Deepak is caught off guard and also sees the same 11 year
old boy in the vicinity, he feels nauseous. He goes to the
bathroom and pukes.

Menka and RAGHUVARAN SHARATH (51), the co-founder of the

hospital, is a spectator of the little stunt performed by Deepak
and they agree for a rendezvous over Deepak’s unusual behavior.
They come to a conclusion to question his behavior and warn him,
if he doesn’t mend his deeds then he will be affecting his
position in the hospital. Deepak leaves the hospital unannounced
the next destination where he stops is Piyush’s house. Piyush
isn’t home hence he goes back to his hospital and takes the non-
prescribed drug and hence making it known to his hospital people
that he is under psychological medication.

Menka takes up another illegal organ transplant from a dead

body and Deepak is in on the act. Later when Deepak is in the
operation theater and while he sees some movements in the lawn
through the window. He walks up to the window see what it is and
to his surprise he witnesses the eleven year old boy jumping off
the building. Deepak is startled and hides himself from the
situation. He quits the operation theater and barges in
Raghuvaran’s chamber and asks him to continue the operation for
him as he has to attend a personal issue immediately. Shekar raj
makes a move on Nandini at her office, after the working hours.
She initially cannot resist the temptation but later realizes
that it’s wrong. She leaves Shekar turned on at the office. She
reaches home to find Deepak trying to use the surgical
equipment. She confronts him and they have a fight over him
being infertile and acting impotent.

ASHUTOSH CHAUBEY (44) an assistant to Raghuvaran confronts

Menka and he says he knows what she and Raghuvaran are up to (.
He says he knows the secret that they have plotted smuggle
organs and are successful in money laundering. Ashutosh
threatens to expose them. Nandini is at her psychiatrist RADHA
SINGH (47), and she confesses about the fight, about she being
infertile and not Deepak, and she confesses that she wants to
sleep with Shekar Raj.

Menka afraid of being exposed finds out Ashutosh has a

physical affair with a patient and exposes him and convinces
Deepak and Raghuvaran to expel him from the hospital. Deepak is
invited to a get together party. Deepak being an Atheist argues
that Hypnos therapy won’t assist any kind of treatments. When
Deepak’s issue with hallucination pops up in a conversation and
one of the guests at the party being a hypnotherapist asks
Deepak to volunteer to get to know who the kid really is. After
the therapy Deepak has a name for the kid. It’s Ajay.

The Japanese firm has been complaining Menka about the

delay in payments from the founders. She goes to Raghuvaran and
he says Deepak was supposed to finalize the dates and payments.
Menka and Raghuvaran go to him and find out that he is going to
see his long lost brother and once he is back he will take care
of the payments. They try to stop him. But he has made up his
mind. When he goes to his home, Nandini doesn’t even respond to
his decision of going out to reach for his brother. The night he
boards the train to go to his brother, Nandini goes to Shekar
Raj.

Deepak reaches his village and goes to the lake where he

was supposed to rescue his brother. He goes to his house and
finds out its left to rot. Nomads have started to use it to
litter and drunkards to spend a night to pass out. His brother
doesn’t live there and he this probably he dies somewhere
outside the village. The once called home isn’t a home anymore.
Deepak talks to the neighbor, once a childhood friend of Deepak
and his brother.
Back at the Mumbai, Ashutosh gives a tip to the police
about the illegal organ transplant going on in the hospital, and
Menka who was travelling with a bag full of money is caught by
the police. The press reporter JAANKI LADWA (38) goes to the
hospital and to find out that she cannot get access to anybody
to get the information. She is contacted by Ashutosh and he
agrees to do an interview where he is ready to expose the
hospital completely.

Deepak is disheartened and plans to return to his home town

when, he gets a pamphlet that reads “To find peace find Himachal
Pradesh” he gets a call from his wife and she says that his
hospital is jeopardy he should return immediately. Once he makes
his move to return. He sees the kid boarded a bus to Himachal
Pradesh. And he follows it.

Back at Mumbai, Ashutosh is on T.V and is being interviewed

about the frauds happening at the hospital. He takes everybody’s
name except for Deepak’s. Raghuvaran and Menka meet with their
lawyers and they discuss what needs to be done. They come up
with a new plan to get away with the accusations. Jaanki tries
to meet Nandini to know the whereabouts of Deepak who has been
avoiding public and press contact, Nandini says he is on a
personal break. He has been sick. Jaanki finds out that Deepak
is on medication and he is not fit to serve as a director and he
is being planned to be over thrown. Jaanki digs up another story
about Menka having an affair with Deepak (This info she gets
from Deepak’s household worker MAHADEV (55)).

Deepak reaches Himachal Pradesh and finds out that his

brother has passed away, coincidently on the day he saw the kid
jump into the waters. Disheartened Deepak plans on returning to
his home when the Guru of the ashram, JAYTHEERTH (59) asked him
to stay there for a day or two and then return. When staying at
the ashram he gets to see the place where his brother lived his
last days and finds his outfits. He wears them and from that
moment he wants to know the truth about his hallucinations.

Back at the hospital, Raghuvaran and Menka accepted that

they were in fact working under the guidance of Deepak, who is
the master mind behind all the illegal activities happening
including illegal organ transplant and money laundering. Hence
an arrest warrant is put up against Deepak and he is wanted by
the law.

Deepak is a monk now and he is taking bath in the holy

river and sees the kid around him. He’s hallucinated by the kid
and he is in peace with him. A tourist spots Deepak in mock
clothing and sees the arrest warrant that has been put up in the
news. He sends a message to the local police that he has found
the absconding Doctor. Nandini wants to divorce him and wants
lead a good life, she confesses this at her psychiatrist. She
meets a lawyer and asks the ways to get divorce. The lawyer says
she should get Deepak to agree to divorce him.

On one of the occasions he meditates and goes to take a

bath in the river when he sees what he did 30 years ago. And he
thinks that committing suicide is the only way to get rid of the
guilt. He starts walking into the waters when he sees the kid
floating in front of him and the kid shakes his head. He comes
out of the waters to find himself arrested.

When Deepak is taken to the jail, he sleeps in the cell and

is haunted by the kid for the last time. His wife and his lawyer
come to him and say that he should not plead guilty, they will
fight for him. And he will be taken out of the jail, Nandini
says she wants to divorce him but she will help him in all that
he needs while he is fighting for his rights. On that night the
kid appears and he talks to Deepak. He says that he carries the
weight of the guilt of not being there for his brother when he
drowned and that Deepak ran away renouncing his responsibility
towards the family and brother. If he fights to get away with
the things he has committed, that act will be equally guilty and
he will never ever sleep peacefully. The kid is not the ghost
it’s the guilt.

Finally Deepak agrees to plead guilty in the court room. He

readily accepts his wrong doings which includes engineering the
fraudulent activities in the hospital. He is sentenced 13 years
in prison. That night when he goes to sleep, he doesn’t even
remember when the night turned into day. He slept peacefully for
the first time in years.

He is imprisoned but he is happy. He is redeemed o the

guilt of running away. After a few years, one day he asks the
gate keeper at the prison to get him a hundred plain sheet
papers and it is the time when he decides to pen down his story.
