4 to use in your story!

Example: Doty dodged and ducked the dangerous Stets- alliteration

or
Boppy’s long hair was as golden as the sun rays that shine down on a
bale of hay.
Tall Tale Writing Organizer
Using the story mountain ideas, write it in a rough draft.

Beginning – does your beginning have the setting and characters? Use a good tall tale
introduction sentence. Use great details so I can visualize the setting and characters. Your larger
than life detail might go in this paragraph.

rising action – this is your first event. Tell me what your character wants? Write about a struggle
he/she encounters. Your adventure may start in this paragraph.

rising action – this is your second event leading to the big problem. Maybe your exaggeration is
included in this paragraph.

Climax – this is the middle of your story. This is the main problem that happens or what is
happening to make things worse.
Falling Action – These are ideas that your character has or tries to solve the problem. Maybe your
trickery is included in this paragraph.

Conclusion – How is the problem finally solved? Maybe your landform in formed in this
paragraph. Did you use a tall tale ending?

*edit your paper, and then use the rubric to grade it.
