TUTORIAL Large Chunky BUTTONS

Buttons are not easily found in the style, color and size you need!
Especially large once. Crochet the buttons you need for your chunky
sweaters! Or bags, or wherever you need a large button!
Mine was for the Baggy Lace Cardigan: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/baggy-lace-cardigan
Yarn: Worsted/4. Hook: 3,5 mm (E/4).

HOW TO MAKE large crochet BUTTONS. Created by working 2 circles together:

1. R 1: Make a yarn- 2. Work 10 scs in circle. Pull start-tail to close ring tight.
ring, ch 1 around Do not close R with sl st, continue with R 2; 2 scs in each
strands to close st around. Close R with sl st in 1st st on R, brake yarn,
tight. pull tail thr loop, fasten by seam tail down to middle-
hole. 20 scs.
3. Repeat step 1-2 for 2nd circle. Add a 3rd round, 1 sc
in each st, close R as in step 2. Do not brake yarn. 20 scs.
4. Place the smallest circle on top of the largest,
pull yarn-tails from small circle thr the middle-hole
of the large one. Pull ch-lp thr to RS of button, ch 1.
5. Work the two circles tog, st to st, Bst- to Fst-lps.
Use scs if you like an even line. I have used Rscs
(Crab-st), to create a lacy edge. Rscs are worked
left to right, in every 2nd st; 10 Rscs; Next steps:

6. Skip 1 st, insert hook 7. ... pull yrn thr. 8. End Round: Remove hook. Insert hook back/front thr 9. Use the tails on BS of
