Mr Athar is 23 years single male. He is the student of MBBS . He is first born child among 1
brother and 1 sister and his parents are educates father is doing his job in Wapda and his mother
is professor. He belongs to a muslim family of a middle socioeconomic society. He resides at
pepoles colony 2.
Referral Source
Patient was reffered by Dr Imtiaz Ahmad for the purpose of assessment. His problems include
lack of concentration, low mood, loss of interest, insomnia, suicidal thoughts, fatigue and
psychomotor retardation.
Interview Information
When clients walks to the session room , he was relaxed and confident. When I asked her to sit
on the chair he sat in a quiet comfortable manners. His presenting complaints were low social
interaction, loss of appetite, feeling of solitude and worthlessness, muscle tension, lack of trust
on others, feelings of guilt and weeping on minute things which is reported by him. He was never
admitted in any hospital. Client was very cooperative during session. Client was normal in
health. He was properly hygiene. He was proper in his dress. His hair was properly done. He had
good appearance. He did not maintain proper eye contact during interview. He was showing
reluctance in giving responses. His behavior was good. He behaved appropriately with us. He
was not much expressive. He was quiet, his voice was not much clear and loud. Client was
suffering from depression because of fail in his exam.. He wants to stay at home all the time. Due
to all these reasons he shows stubborn behavior and low social interaction. He is having feeling
of worthlessness, feeling of solitude and low mood. Due to all these symptoms he was referred to
psychologist. He was very good and shinning student at school. He was Muslim. He offers
prayer regularly. He was 1st born child. He had 3 siblings. His both parents living together. He
lived in joint family system. His relations with other family members were good.
