Transmitter – Receiver Synchronisation

• Start the engine of the machine and enter


track mode (button 2).

• Select radio control by pressing button next to


the handset icon (button 2).

• Handset icon will illuminate with yellow hallow


and display signal strength bar.

• Ensure engine stop button is deactivated


(twist clockwise)

• Turn power switch to “On” (I) position (handset


will sound and LED will flash)

• When handset has recognised receiver


module the LED will flash rapidly and tone will
cease.

• With the transmitter activated the screen icon


will change to green hallow and the signal
strength bar will change.

• Activate the pre tracking siren by pressing the


green button on the handset.

• Wait for the evacuation siren to time out (7


seconds) denoted by a pause and the tracking
siren to continue before attempting to track.

plant mode (button 1).

• In either Manual of Auto, scroll to Page 2


using right arrow key.

• Select radio control by pressing button next to


the handset icon (button 4).

• Handset icon will illuminate with yellow hallow


and display signal strength bar.

QJ Feeder Control

Mode Button
• Feeder can be started and stopped using
the remote control toggle switch (push left)

• Feeder speed can be adjusted remotely by


pressing the black mode button (L/H side
of remote) and using the left hand joystick.

• Forward = Increase Feeder Speed


• Reverse = Decrease Feeder Speed

QJ Product Conveyor Control
• Radio control can be used to raise/lower
Mode Button product conveyor.

• Scroll to conveyor adjustment screen


(shown).

• Press the black mode button (L/H side of


the remote)

• Press and hold the toggle switch into the


option position (push right). height can be
adjusted using the right hand joystick.

• Reverse = Lower Conveyor

QJ Crusher Drive Control (Jaw Jog)

Mode Button
• To assist with jaw unblocking the remote
control can be used to jog the jaw (with
feeder stopped).

• Activate the jaw jog icon (button 3) on the


display screen Yellow hallow will flash.

• Jaw speed will fall to idle and direction can


be changed using the left hand joystick.

• Forward = Forward
Jaw Crusher
Direction (Jog) • Reverse = Reverse

QJ Crusher CSS Adjustment

• Before starting the machine operation


Mode Button
(Manual/Auto start mode) the Jaw CSS can
be adjusted using the radio control.

• Activate the radio control (button 6)

• Press black mode button on the handset to


activate option.

• Jaw CSS can be changed using the right


hand joystick.

• Once activated the detail on the bottom left of


the display will show RC1

RC1 & RC2 Modes (QI) RC2 Activate

• The Radio Control system has 2 different


modes which can be activated using the
Mode 2 Mode 1 transmitter to enable additional machine
(RC2) (RC1) functions to be activated.

• By pressing the Green (Sync) button the RC1


mode will be activated.

• By pressing the Black (Mode) button the RC2


mode will be activated.

• Mode will be displayed on the lower left of the


display.

Sync Button
• Feeder can be started and stopped using

remote) and using the left hand joystick.

QI Upper Curtain Control (RC1)

Sync Button
• Radio control can be used to raise/lower
upper Impact curtain to assist clear
bridging (lower is due to curtain weight
rather than hydraulic).

• Curtain can be raised by pressing the


Green (Sync) button and operating the
right hand joystick.

• Forward = Raise Curtain


Upper Curtain
• Reverse = Retract Cylinder

QI Inlet Chute Control (RC2)

Mode Button
• Radio control can be used to raise/lower
the Inlet chute at the feed entry to assist if
material becomes snagged on the chute.

• Curtain can be raised by pressing the


Black (Mode) button activating RC2 mode
and operating the left hand joystick.

• Forward = Raise Inlet Chute


• Reverse = Lower Inlet Chute

QI Product Conveyor Control (RC2)

Mode Button • Radio control can be used to raise/lower


product conveyor when plant is in stop
mode.

• Press the black mode button to activate


RC2 mode

• Product conveyor height can be adjusted


(Raise/Lower) using the right hand joystick.

• Forward = Raise Conveyor


Product Conveyor • Reverse = Lower Conveyor
