Time & Attendance Module
Introduction
This document form part of several HRIS manuals that were published as user’s guide to effectively use
the TalentOz. Time & Attendance (T&A) User Manual is intended as a complete guide for all
employees and manager users whose works are related to T&A Module. TalentOz makes easy work of
monitoring employee time and attendance, automated time and attendance solutions reduce
labour costs by enforcing work rules — consistently and accurately — across the organisation.
This manual serves as a starter’s guide for each employee to be familiarized with the basic and
frequently used TalentOz functionalities. It is a must for new users and newly hired employees to read
this manual in order to immediately access pertinent information.
Users need not to be technically knowledgeable to use the HRIS. The least minimum requirement is for
user to be able to comprehend what is written in this manual and the ability to correlate the
instructions with the actual system. It is preferable to read this manual while the user is logged-in to the
system in order to clearly grasp the idea or instruction and see the TalentOz in action.
Module overview
This module maintains all relevant information related to Time & Attendance (T&A) module, including
Daily time record, time adjustment request and schedule details. T&A modules allows all the
employee to view their daily time record, raise time adjustment request, track their request and view
schedule. As a manager the user can view team’s daily time record, approve / reject the team’s
adjustment request, manage team’s week work status and schedule details.
The functionality of the Module differs depending on the rights of the user.

View Daily Time Record (DTR)
To view your Daily Time Record (DTR), click on the Attendance Home option in Attendance menu.
Click on the Daily Time Record tile, daily time record page will get displayed with the current month
details as shown in the figure.

The Daily Time Record page shows your daily time-in and time-out details for the month.
Click on the Daily Time Record tile, daily time record page will get displayed with the current month
details as shown in the figure.

Click on icon available adjacent to respective date row, attendance activity modal window will
get displayed with the employee’s In-time and Out-time as shown in the figure.
Click on button, time adjustment request page will get displayed as shown in the
figure.

Enter the adjustment time in the required field(s).
Click on button. Adjustment request will be sent for manager approval, on approval the
adjusted entry will get reflected.

Click on the Time Adjustment Request tile, time adjustment request list page will get displayed as
shown in the figure.
Click on icon adjacent to respective request, corresponding request details page will get displayed
as shown in the figure.

View Schedule
To track adjustment request, click on the Attendance Home option in Attendance menu. Time &
Attendance dashboard page will get as shown in the figure.

Click on the Daily Time Record tile, daily time record page will get displayed with the current month
details as shown in the figure.

Click on button, Employee Schedule List page will get displayed as shown in the figure.
Enter Timesheet
To enter timesheet, click on the Enter Timesheet option in Attendance menu. Timesheet Entry page will
get as shown in the figure.

Click on the Timesheet for the Week field, Calendar will get displayed as shown in the figure.
Select the week for which you need to raise the request. On selecting the week corresponding week
details with you logged in time details will get displayed as shown in the figure
Add task to the timesheet by adding new task or by adding task from the task list.

To add task from the list, click on the Add Task from Task List link. Add Task from List modal window gets
displayed as shown in the figure.
Select the customer from the drop down list. Based on the selected customer corresponding projects
will get populated in Project list.
Select the project from the drop down list and based on the selected project, task will get displayed
in the Available Task(s) list.
Select the required task and click on button, the added task will be displayed in the
timesheet as shown in the figure.

You can view the timesheet request details by clicking on the icon.

Manager Time and Management
View Team Daily Time Record (DTR)
To view your teams Daily Time Record (DTR), click on the Attendance Home option in Attendance
menu.
Click on the Daily Time Record tile, daily time record page will get displayed with the current month’s
details as shown in the figure.

The Daily Time Record page shows the daily time-in and time-out details for the month in two tabs; My
Time Record and Team Time Record.
Click on the Team Time Record tab, Daily Time Record displays team’s DTR details as shown in the
figure.
Enter the subordinate name in Employee Name text box, corresponding subordinate’s DTR will get
displayed as shown in the figure.

Process Team Time Adjustment Request
To process subordinates time adjustment request, click on the Attendance Home option in
Attendance menu. Time & Attendance dashboard page will get as shown in the figure.
Click on the Time Adjustment Request tile, time adjustment request page will get displayed with two
tabs namely; my adjustment request and Team adjustment request as shown in the figure.

Click on the Team Adjustment Request tab, team request list page will get displayed as shown in the
figure.

Click on icon available adjacent to respective request, time adjustment request of corresponding
subordinate will get displayed as shown in the figure.

Manage Team Work Week Status
To manage team’s work week status, click on the Attendance Home option in Attendance menu.
Time & Attendance dashboard page will get as shown in the figure.
The Week Work Status widget in the dashboard displays your and team work status for the week, by
default team’s work status will be as shown in the figure.

This widget helps you to know your subordinates planned hours, Actual Hours, Tardiness, Under time,
absent and leaves for the selected week.

View Team Absent Status
To view team’s top workaholic and top irregularities employees, click on the Attendance Home
option in Attendance menu. Time & Attendance dashboard page will get as shown in the figure.

Manage Other Schedules
To manage other schedule, click on the Attendance Home option in Attendance menu.

Click on the other schedule tile, other schedule page will get displayed as shown in the figure.

The page displays the other schedule available in the system. The schedule’s assigned employees
can be view by clicking the respective schedules.
To assign employee to the schedule, click on icon. Add Employees to Schedule modal window will
get displayed as shown in the figure.

Click on the Select employee(s) link, Add more Employee modal window gets displayed as shown in
the figure.

Select the employees by clicking on the corresponding employee card.

Click on the Team Timesheets tab, Team Timesheet details will get displayed as shown in the figure.
Click on the icon, Timesheet details page will get displayed as shown in the figure.

Check the timesheet details and click on the button else click on the button to
reject the timesheet.
If needed you can also edit your subordinate’s timesheet by clicking on the button.
