I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, students are expected to do the following with 80% accuracy:
a.Identify the origins and cultural background of selected Philippine festivals
b. Perform songs and dances from selected philippine festivals
c. Express appreciation of the songs and dances of each festivals as important part in the lives of human
beings

B. Lesson Proper
a. Motivation
The students will be group into 3 & will race to guess the different festivals.
b. Presentation/Discussion
1. Have the students participate in the discussion of origins and culture of the festivals.
2. Interactive discussionof the Philippine festival. Each festival will be explained by the teacher one at a
time using the videos that will be presented.
3. Give students the chance to express or appreciate the festivals that is shown in the picture.

IV. Evaluation
Among the festivals that I've shoen you, choose one that captures your attention or the best one among all.
Explain why on a 1/2 sheet of paper.
V. Assignment
With the same group that you have earlier, you will create your own festival and perform it with songs and
dances inspired by the different festivals.
