Prep Strategy: CONTACTS
Verbal‑ Aarti Arun Saboo
GMAT verbal is logic packed in a maze through and through. That's the

CR‑
GMAT Avengers This section was my Achilles heel. Whenever I saw my confidence

Closed group level zero. Hence, the "approach" for the CR section is the most CAT Prep with Arun Sharma's
important thing. Mindworkzz Join
1. As I have mentioned before, randomly starting your CR prep by solving 346 members CONTACTS
Verbal OG hardly does any good. Moreover, the OG questions are both Aarti Arun Saboo
precious and limited, so you need to make sure that you will attempt them
once you acquire a certain level. Hence, you first need to read a lot about
what CR actually is, the type of flaws it presents, and the assessment you Adrien Cambonie
need to make before answering a question.
2. For "CR‑scratch to best match" strategy I would suggest making Madhav Kumar 1m

I have to tell you one thing, GMAT RC was a statement about my Ankit Dhiman 1h

confidence at the beginning of my prep, then bitch‑slapped me while I
was performing good in SC and decent in CR and ultimately forced me to Kefei Zhang

1. There is no better way/alternate way than to solve 4 RCs per day on Shreyansi Verma 2h

1. Personally, I found the GMAT club tests the single most useful resource

This is a pretty generic thing to talk about, so I won't say much. I would
just mention that I did all my applications myself and believe me when I
say this, the application phase requires a lot of research. I still remember,
GMAT Avengers I read a really long elemental analysis on writing SOPs and then compared CONTACT PAGES SEE ALL
Study Group that analysis to the SOP I had written. I realized how a lack of research
can make or break an application.
Closed group Generically speaking, I have no problem with consultants/essay
writers/customized service providers, but believe me, the most efficient CONTACTS
solution to a problem is usually the simplest one(Occam's Razor). Hence
when you enter the job world post your graduation, there will come a time Aarti Arun Saboo
when you will have to write your own cover letters, develop your own CVs
and give interviews in a bunch. How are you going to tackle it then? Just Adrien Cambonie
give it a thought. A smart albeit seemingly difficult option now might
force you into developing a perennial skill set that you can utilize and Madhav Kumar 1m
hone. On top of that, you might as well save a few bucks. Also, it will be
evident to you that the schools you are sending applications to are really Pranay Mehta 54m
smart and they will only appreciate when they spot a natural writing style
which is honest and fresh. Ravikant Kamboj
Finally, I will say that the GMAT has an important weight‑age but if you
think that you can score low and compensate for it somewhere else then Jiaxin Chen
that's 1 step in the wrong direction already. GMAT is the basic screening
element of the application, if you score low, your beautifully crafted Balwinder Virdi
application might not even be considered. Once you have a decent score
in hand, there is no bound on the quality of application you can prepare. Zhihua Zang
Shortcuts Hence, the crucial mental advantage while writing your applications is
important. The whole process might look like a quagmire of sequences
but believe me, a good score's importance can't be stressed enough. Veronica Virk 3h
I might still have missed out on a lot of things, hence if you have any Ankit Dhiman 1h
