Subject of Resolution: 12th NYP Rules of Procedure

Intent of Resolution: Making the interpellation during deliberations longer

Whereas, the 12th NYP Rules of Procedure referred to in Rule XX, Paragraph 2, Section 3 and Section 4
for the interpellation, and;

Whereas, the delegate deemed the interpellation time too short to accommodate all the questions.

Therefore be it resolved that, a new Rule XX, Paragraph 2, Section 3 and Section 4 be added to read as
follows respectively;

Section 3. Each member shall only be given two (2) minutes to interpellate the sponsor of the
proposed bill.

Section 3. Each member shall only be given five (5) minutes to interpellate the sponsor of the
proposed bill.

Section 4. The Sponsor of the proposed bill shall only be given two (2) minutes to answer the
questions asked by the interpellators.

Section 4. The Sponsor of the proposed bill shall only be given five (5) minutes to answer the
questions asked by the interpellators.
