Proposal For Food Bazaar

Idea: To organize a food bazaar/entertainment for all classes of people. Initial idea is to split the
section to halal and non-halal section. Non-halal will have things quite similar to Kaamatan, for eg..
pork burger, pork satay, and also stalls that have seat to drink and maybe live band or karaoke.

Capital: minimum to ZERO, as we will ask the stall tenants to pay deposit to us like what KDCA
always do. And we use that money to set up everything. Things to set up include maybe deposit for
rental of the space, tent rental, license application etc…

License: have to ask Adam’s dad if it is possible for this kind of event to get alcohol license, and what
other license is required. Reason to give for example to promote the local food of Sabah, to show
people around the world what is ‘Aramaitii’ spirit, etc…

Time: no idea yet, since Octoberfest is gone. Let’s see if Adam’s dad gives the approval. Possibly
around March or April.

Rental: since KDCA is asking for RM 7k last year, we can try to target RM 3k as rental, but pending
the budget cost for our tent and space rent as well. We can try to target quantity, try to get those
food stalls to rent their own tent rather than share a space with the big tent.

Location: not known yet. Likas complex parking space has quite a big area, or any other suggestion
please do share.
