Beatrix, birth surname unknown, was born about 1572, based on the birth of her first child Anne in 1590. She is
only listed as Beatrix in the christening records for her 10 children. She and her husband, Roger Lane of
Hereford, Herefordshire, had the following children:

Beatrice is listed in the probate record of her husband, Roger Lane, in 1603, so she died a er that, probably in
London, since she was buried at the All Hallows Bread Street Church there, but her death date and place are
unknown. All Hallows "was razed in 1876 to make way for warehouses. The church's cemetery, where [Roger's]
widow rested for almost two centuries, disappeared as well."

NOTE: This is not a duplicate memorial. There is a memorial for a Beatrix Fitton Lane who is listed as having died
in 1603, but she must have been a di erent person, since her birth name was Fitton. The death date of the
Beatrix Lane in this memorial is unknown.
