I am responding to a current job opening for a Communication’s Assistant for Native Health. I
am currently an online student at Arizona State University and pursing my Bachelor of Science
in Communication. I have my associate degree in Liberal Arts and have several years of
experience in health-care work. I’ve acquired skills in multi-tasking, integrity, and overall, hard
work.
For a couple of years, I’ve worked in a few fast-paced healthcare settings. My most recent was
as an Outreach Worker at a Community Health Center. My team usually consisted of a lead,
myself and two others. Majority of the tasks performed also meant working independently.
However, I enjoy team building projects just as much as working on individual tasks.
I truly enjoyed giving it my best to communicate effectively with patients, peers and community
workers. My working hours varied; it sometimes meant attending wellness events that usually
occurred in the evening or weekends. I’ve had to multi-task handling phone calls, scheduling
appointments, and relaying messages to Providers/Medical Assistants all while maintaining
patient confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. I enjoyed working with the diverse
community.
I look forward to meeting you regarding Native Health’s Communication Assistant position. My
enthusiasm, strong work ethics and experience make me a very promising candidate. In addition
to, I believe that upon completion of my degree, it would make me invaluable asset to the
company as well. If you have any further questions, I can be reached at 555-555-5555. Thank
you for taking the time to consider and review my qualifications.
Sincerely,
