Eight tallest buildings in Jakarta: Skyscraper Center

The Skyscraper Center, a database on tall buildings, lists the tallest buildings in cities
around the world, ranging from current to proposed and future buildings that are further
classified into those under various stages of construction and to completed ones.
Managed by not-for-profit group The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat in
Chicago, which specializes in the development and operation of high-rises as well as cities of
the future, the Skyscraper Center also provides data on each building, including height,
number of floors, usage and property development companies.
Here are the Skyscraper Center's eight tallest buildings in the capital.
1. Gama Tower
Gama Tower, also known as Menara Rasuna or the Cemindo Tower, is on Jl. Rasuna
Said in Kuningan, South Jakarta. For now, it tops the tallest building rank in Indonesia and is
93rd in Asia. Completed in 2016, Gama Tower is 285 meters high and has 64 floors. It
houses a hotel and businesses.
2. Wisma 46
One of the city's landmarks and completed in 1996, Wisma 46 is one of the oldest
high-rises in Jakarta. Housing offices, the building is on Jl. Jend. Sudirman, Central Jakarta.
It has 46 floors and is 261 meters tall.
3. Menara Astra
Located on Jl. Jend. Sudirman in Central Jakarta, Menara Astra is a concrete office
building. Completed just last year, it stands 261 meters tall with 50 floors.
