Bounce House Permits
Once you have rented a park space and contracted with an
approved Bounce House company, you must purchase a $35
Bounce House Permit through the Parks, Recreation Office.
For more information contact the Recreation Office. Bounce
houses are not allowed at any of the first come first serve sites.

One of the finest softball facilities in the Central Valley,
featuring 4 softball fields and 1 baseball diamond. All
fields are available for rent and use for tournaments.

Conveniently located off Highway 99, and with 9 soccer
fields and 2 softball diamonds, the fields at the Sports
Complex are perfect for tournament rentals.

KIDZ LOVE SOCCER
Learn the world’s most popular sport from professional
coaches in the Kidz Love Soccer method. A session experi-
ence includes age appropriate activities, skill demonstra-
tions, fun games and instructional scrimmages. New is the
Soccer Skillz & Scrimmages which will be more advanced
skill development including dribbling, passing, shooting
and team play. ALL participants will also receive a Kidz
Love Soccer Jersey. Always conducted in a non-competitive

Boys and girls 3 - 4 years will learn the basics of baseball

SUMMER T-BALL BASEBALL
Come out and play the game of baseball in a non-
competitive atmosphere. Boys and girls 4 - 6 years
can join a team and play 6 games of T-Ball against other
children. This program is an introduction to baseball and is
taught and played in a non-competitive format. No score
is kept, all players are winners! All of our coaches are
volunteers, if you want to coach give us a call. Players
receive a t-shirt and replica major league hat.

TURLOCK YOUTH SELF DEFENSE TRACK & FIELD

Youth ages 5 - 15 years can learn self-discipline, confidence &
the basics of karate. Beginning, intermediate and advanced
techniques are taught. Register at the Recreation Office
prior to each session. Students will be accepted up to the
2nd week of each session, but will be charged a $5 late fee.
Youth 7 - 14 years can develop their track and field
abilities. High School coaches will work on speed and
agility training techniques, conditioning and endurance.
This program will introduce the participant to all areas of
track.

What do we do with the kids after school? In the PLAY (Positive Leisure Activities for Youth) program, children will have
time to complete homework daily, participate in a variety of fun activities and most importantly have a safe place to go
after school.

This class will expand on the material from the Jr. Lifeguard

TEEN ACTIVITIES
BABYSITTING CLASS
Get ready for your first job! In this course, boys and girls
11 - 15 years, will become knowledgeable of the duties
and responsibilities of babysitting. Students will learn
about characteristics of children at different ages, safety
precautions, accident prevention and child care skills.
Students must bring a notebook & pencil.

TEEN ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Teen Advisory Council (TAC) wants to stress the
importance of getting involved! TAC encourages teens to
enrich their lives by volunteering their time. Volunteering
is a great way to make new friends, give back to your
community and help others.
TAC is a diverse group of young people 7th – 12th grade,
who are working together to make a difference in the
community. Meetings are held the 4th Monday of every
month, 6:00 – 7:00pm. Throughout the year, the Teen
Advisory Council works diligently on planning, organizing
and implementing activities in the Turlock Community.
Applications will be available at the Parks, Recreation and
Public Facilities Department Office June 3rd – August 16th.
Requirements to Join TAC:
• Must be in 7th – 12th Grade
• Must be a resident of Turlock or attend a school in
Turlock
• Complete application packet & submit to the Parks,
Recreation and Public Facilities Department no later
than Friday, August 16th
• A $70.00 registration fee will be required of all
2019/2020 Teen Advisory Council members

JR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CAMP
This will be a skills camp with a team concept. The goal is
to help prepare junior high school volleyball players for the
upcoming season. Participants will pair up with PHS varsity
players to work on skills. Players will receive a shirt from
the coaching staff. Must register prior to the first class.

with developmental disabilities. Programs are designed
to promote socialization, independent functioning and
recreational skills. Activities will include crafts, games,

GENERAL INFORMATION
Classes may be canceled due to lack of enrollment. Please
make every effort to pre-register so a class will not be
canceled unnecessarily.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds will be given on cancellations prior to the first class,
less a $10 cancellation fee. Failure to attend a program
will not be granted a refund. If you are not satisfied with
any of our programs, please contact the program supervisor,
668-5594.
CLASS TRANSFERS AND/OR LATE FEES
Any class changes will be charged an $8 transfer fee.
After the class start date, all transfers will require instructor’s
approval. If enrollment is being accepted after the class start
date or registration date, a $5 late fee will be added to the
class fee.
WAIT LIST POLICY
Anyone can be put on the waiting list for a class. If a customer
withdraws from a class thus creating an open spot, the first
person on the waiting list is called to accept or decline. Class
spots are not held or reserved and are not finalized until
payment is made. Waiting lists do not roll over.
Please be advised that all participants involved in any program
or special event are subject to being photographed. Such
photographs may be used by the City of Turlock without an
obligation to provide compensation to those photographed.

Turlock Police Activities League is a non-profit 501(c)
(3) organization with the primary goal of promoting a
constructive relationship between law enforcement officials
and the youth of Turlock. Between movies, TV and video
games, children do not often get to see police officers for
what they truly are: protectors. Turlock Police Officers and
Turlock P.A.L. board members want to ensure that children
