LOCATION
Brazil is located in the south of the American Continent, is the largest country in
South America, the fifth in the world and the sixth most populated.

FEIJOADA
The feijoada is considered the national dish of Brazil, which with small variations is

Vatapá is a tasty dish typical of the Bay region, a delight so widespread that it can
be tasted in the best restaurants or in the street stalls of Salvador de Bahia.

IGUAZU FALLS
One of the most impressive natural wonders in the world and tourist attractions in
Brazil. The Iguazú Falls are a series of magnificent waterfalls located on the Iguazú
River.
COPACABANA BEACH
It is one of the most important and famous beaches in the world. In Copacabana
you can find tourists from all over the world, restaurants, bars, which are open
almost 24 hours. In Copacabana there is both day and night life, the party never
stops there.

Brazil’s economy is characterized by an extensive and well developed agriculture,
mining. Brazil has abundant natural resources and a relatively diversified economy.
It is the world’s largest producer of coffee, sugar cane and oranges, and is one of
the world’s largest producers of soy.

EDUCATION
Schooling in Brazil is compulsory for children between 6-14 years of age during
which pupils are obliged to study a second language, usually English or French
Spanish.

PEOPLE COSTUMES
casual clothing, Brazilian men usually wear beige pants and short sleeves in light
fabrics such as cotton or linen. You can also opt for longer shorts. Women usually
wear skinny jeans with beaded or sequined designs, along with bonnets or shirts.
Smock dresses, pants and skirts with knee hems are also acceptable. Shoes
usually consist of sandals or heels.

Brazil is important for its natural territory The Amazon rainforest covers 3,6 million
km² of the territory. Thanks to its vegetation and climate, it is one of the countries
with the most species of animals in the world. The Brazilian economy is the largest
in Latin America and the southern hemisphere, the sixth largest in the world for
nominal GDP and the seventh largest for purchasing power parity (PPP).
