Coal Longer Boiler Life Span Maxitherm Coal Watertube Boiler has a high heat- ing surface area, this allows for a lower level of ther- mal stress on the heating surfaces for the same amount of heat transfer. Maximum Safety Management Maxitherm have developed a maximum safety boiler with protected steam drum, combustion controls, flame failure safeguards, a modulating feed water system, a dual low water security system and twin water pumps. Superheater Autoventing During startup phase of Maxitherm Coal Watertube Boiler, an automatic mechanism vents our superheater to prevent it from overheating. Fast Response to Steam Demand The faster natural circulation and stable waterline produced by our unheated downcomer allows our boiler to respond quickly and effortlessly when your plant requires steam quality. Drier Steam Output The large drum volume of Maxitherm Boiler increases the steam / water interface. This reduces the level of water entrainment, resulting in drier steam quality. Longer Tube Life Span D type construction minimises the number of tube bends and allows the use of large radius tube bends, this reduces bending stress on the tubes and increases their life span. Complete Combustion Maxitherm Coal Watertube Boiler has a gas tight combustion chamber made possible by membrane walls that are seal welded. This prevents hot gas leaking or cold air infiltration to allow for more complete combustion. Low Maintenance The Maxitherm Boiler is designed with complete membrane water wall construction, thus eliminat- ing the use of internal refractories that require high maintenance and replacement cost. Maximum Heat Transfer All convection tubes are arranged in a staggered design to ensure that the whole circumference area of tube is effective heating area for maximum heat transfer, Better Handling of Fluctuation in Steam Load This large drum volume also increases the available steam space, hence increases the ability of our boiler to handle steam load fluctuations.
