REPORTS
March 20,2019- WEDNESDAY

This was the first day of our work immersion at Sta. Catalina. Mr. Raffy Celedonio deployed us
at their municipality. I have two classmates with me at the Department of Agriculture. At exactly eight
o’clock in the morning, Mr. Nerio A. Recaido and the other officials arrived. It was eight- thirty in the
morning g when Sir Joseph B. Reclusado told us to be with him for the anti-rabies vaccination along the
barangay of Poblacion. We did the home-to-home visitation and people in the barangay are very much
willing to cooperate and participate.

There are about twenty-three dogs which were vaccinated. Thirteen male dogs and ten female
dogs. The continuation of the vaccination is within the month of March and it is annually.

In the afternoon, the meeting was conducted at Sta. Catalina Gymnasium intended for the farmers
who are affected of typhoon Lawin. We were assigned to get the names of participants that serves as an
attendance. It was quarter to four p.m. when the meeting was done.
March 21, 2019- THURSDAY

The starting work for this day is the general cleaning. The officials and the interns joined
the general cleaning inside and outside of the Municipal Hall. It was a great experience to sweat
in the morning. After the general cleaning, we immediately proceed to the office to assist the
visitors. Since it is already nine-thirty a.m. people are now having a hard time due to own tasks
of officials. There were still farmers who are getting their share as a change in their affected
crops during the typhoon Lawin and most of them are from barangay Cabittaogan, Sta. Catalina.

March 22, 2019- FRIDAY

The continuation of anti-rabies vaccination was held on this day at the barangay of
Sinabaan. There were twenty-nine dogs and two cats which were vaccinated. After a four-hour
operation, we went to a place where miki noodles are being made. It took a couple of hours in
making until we finished performing as well and we had our lunch break.
In the afternoon session, we did again the anti-rabies vaccination at barangay Sinabaan
and Poblacion. There were twenty-four dogs which were vaccinated with a total of fifty-three
animals for this day. During the operation, there were also people who do not like to have a
vaccine for their pets and we listed the owner’s name to have a meeting at the municipal office in
order to have an action whether they will have a fine or any responsibility in taking care of their
pets.
