Open on Sex working, customer is rough and chokes and hits Sex (minor), Sex has partially healed

bruises and cuts. The customer finishes and throws money on the table before telling Sex to clean up
and leave. Sex pulls on his clothes, takes the money and leaves. As Sex leaves he sees a pack of
cigarettes and takes one on his way out. He lights up outside before realising that he is bleeding
from the side of his head, he touches it and it is painful. He calls Drugs and heads to his home.

Drugs takes Sex in and patches him up as they talk about housing, Drugs sparks up a zoot and him
and Sex smoke as Drugs cleans him up, Drugs hides his shaking and scratching, Sex asks if Drugs has
cut back and Drugs says he has and he’s doing good, they embrace and set a time for drinks before
Sex leaves.

Drugs immediately runs to his room and takes out a stash of pills of which is pops two before laying
down, a family photo with Drugs’s father’s face scratched out is shown, Drugs microwaves himself
some food and his mother comes into the kitchen “keys?” “no” Drugs’s mother comes up to him and
looks him in the eye “are you high again?” “no” “fucking junky” she walks away with a bottle of wine
sighing in disgust before slamming the lounge door and pouring a glass of wine and turning on the
TV. Drugs sighs, takes two different pills and leaves the house.

Drugs is in a pub with Violence talking about Sex and his homing situation, Violence says that he
would try to get Sex a different job with him but his boss said that he didn’t want “that bum”
working for him, they comment on how this is fucked up, Violence askes about Drugs’s home life and
Drugs says “same as” “that bad?” “worse”, Drugs asks about Violence’s home and Violence just
glares. Violence checks the clock and realises that he has to get back home. He bumps into someone
on the way out spilling their drink, they have a go at Violence, cut back to Drugs checking his phone
before looking over “oh fuck”, Violence begins fighting the man and a brawl brakes out with Drugs
trying to pull Violence off. Violence is kicked out of the bar, he spits out some blood and walks off.

Violence arrives home looking pissed to find his younger sibling hiding under the table which
immediately softens his expression “hey buddy, you alright” his younger sibling shakes her head
before looking up at something. Violence turns around and is roughly pinned against the wall by his
father “the fuck have you been?” Violence pushes him off “out” “out? You’re a fucking waist you
know that?” “fuck off dad” Violence tries to push past his father “and the fuck do you think you’re
going?” “to my room” “you mean MY room, this is MY house you fucking freeloader” “I’ve got a job”
“you call getting dicked about by your boss a fucking job?” dad pushes him “just fuck off dad!” dad
grabs him “don’t use that language when you talk to me” dad slaps him “don’t you dare” dad pulls
back his arm to punch. Cut.

Sex steps out a car and his arm is grabbed by the driver “remember, you owe me for this” “yeah…”
Sex walks into an office for an interview, talks to the secretary and is sat in an interview room, a man
walks in and talks about how due to his past and current work he cannot be offered a job here at this
reputable company, the scene repeats again, he then receives a text saying to meet from ‘girlfriend’
contact. He arrives and she screams at him saying that she could believe he didn’t tell her and that
she dated a whore and for him to “just fuck off, fuck right off”, Sex collapses under a bridge having a
complete breakdown, a girl sees him and asks if he is alright, he looks at her “no not really”, they talk
and she asks about his job with him saying “it’s not important” a montage is shown with him
meeting her more and more but always have to go and meet a customer. They bump into Drugs in
the street who asks why they never got those drinks and Sex introduces the girl telling Drugs that
their actually on their way to too see a film and they leave.
Drugs is shown in a park clearly very upset and trying to light a zoot “need help with that?” says a
voice from behind him a girl comes past and lights it for him, he thanks her, gives her some and they
get talking, they talk about Drugs feeling abandoned and she tries to reassure him that Sex is just
enjoying begin with a girl who isn’t disgusted at him, Drugs invites her back to his “won’t your
parents mind?” “mum doesn’t care”, they go back to his and his mum sees them, Drugs begins to
stammer an explanation but his mother just walks into the lounge with a bottle of wine, Drugs and
the girl have a drink and a fag, they have another drink and Drugs starts to get twitchy and excuses
himself to take a slash, in the bathroom he takes a couple pills, he comes back and they talk some
more before she is at the door and she says “another time then?” “if you want” “I do” she smiles at
him and leaves, he goes into his bedroom and looks at his pills before putting them away and
running outside, he asks her to stay and she says yes, then montage of them getting together and
Drugs neglecting his drugs for the girl, being happier and speaking to his mother, he is helped though
withdrawal by this girl, this culminates in his chucking out much of his drugs but hiding a small stash
from her.

Violence opens his eyes in the morning with a fresh black eye looking around and finding his younger
sibling on his floor, Violence smiles and gets breakfast before heading to work, his boss is a
deliberate dick to him telling him that he’s scum and to hit him so he takes his job, Violence leaves at
the end of his shift and goes to the gym, at the gym he has one guy laugh at his black eye which
sparks a fight, a man drags Violence off the other guy saying that he is a boxing student who is just
eager for practice, this leads Violence to begin boxing training, montage of training followed by
abuse followed by training.

Sex is with the girl who is taking him to her home to meet her father, they enter and the father is
pleasant and says that hell leave the two of them alone as he need to complete work calls, they go
upstairs and Sex is clearly made uncomfortable by the wealth and privacy that the two of them have
in her bedroom, when she goes to kiss him he pulls back saying “sorry…” before her father calls the
both of them down to dinner, they are eating and Sex complements the food, the father then asks
why Sex hasn’t asked out his daughter yet, she is very embarrassed by this but the father presses the
issue, Sex bursts out with it being because he is a sex worker and he doesn’t want to hurt the girl,
the father and daughter exchange looks before he says “we know”, Sex is dumbfounded and askes
“what?”, the girl reveal that she’s always known and she’s not stupid, Sex is amazed and the father
offers Sex a job but he turns it down saying that he doesn’t like handouts, they finish dinner and the
girl insists on him staying the night, he is in the garden having a cigarette and the girl joins him, he
says that he asked her dad if he could smoke and he said it was fine, he pauses, looks at her and asks
her out, she says that she will as long as he quits smoking, he smiles and puts out his cigarette and
agrees smiling, they *implied no visual confirmation* make love.

Sex, Drugs and Violence are at a pub having a drink, they talk about drugs cutting back, Sex meeting
a girl and Violence invites them all to his first professional fight.

They all come to the fight and watch Violence win and NOT lose his shit as he does so, Violence is
given the competition money and his coach says that he could support himself on his winnings if he
went professional, Drugs’s girl tells him that he needs to talk to his mum and re-establish their
connection, Sex has to meet a client.

*next two segments happen all at once*

Violence comes home to find his younger sibling hiding with a bruise on his cheek “dad” he says,
Violence walks into the kitchen where his dad is, his dad starts to mock him but Violence beats the
shit out of him “don’t you ever FUCKING touch him again!”, picks up his younger sibling and leaves
home.

Sex starts to think about the job offer from his girlfriend’s father offered and so asks the client to
stop during sex. The client becomes very angry begins to beat Sex heavily. After this Sex is picked up
by his girlfriend and family before agreeing to work for his girlfriend’s father.

Drug’s girlfriend convinces him to quit for good and speak to his mum. He walks in to find that his
mum has died (assembly due to alcohol abuse). After seeing this Drugs takes all his leftover drugs
and begins to overdose.

*cut*

Sex receives a call from Drugs’s girlfriend and goes to Drugs.

Violence receives a text from Sex and tries to leave work but his boss begins to threaten him and
Violence just breathes, thinks of his younger sibling and boxing and just calmly walks out.

Sex and Violence meet at Drug’s bedside, Violence rushes in and angrily pick up Drugs “what were
you thinking?!?” *pause* Violence hugs Drugs. They tell him that they’re going to be there for him
just he’s been there for them.
