ACCOMPLISHMENT-REPORT on MAPEH
S.Y 2013-2014

I. Introduction

Physical Education is an integral part of education of the youth, be it formally and


normally taught. It is taught from the early age to Elementary Level to the College Level. It aims
to develop the physical, social, mental and emotional aspects of an individual to a group of
selected activities.
These activities should be within the level of the children and should meet their
needs, abilities and interests.
Children should be given enough physical fitness exercise to make them strong
and healthy. Through these exercises they will develop muscular strength, ability, flexibility, and
endurance.
Sports activities stunts and game bring a lot of enjoyment to the children. They
will also develop teamwork, sportsmanship as well as flexibility, strength, endurance and
coordination.

II. Objectives

A. Major

1. To improve the physical and mental aspects of school children.


2. To develop the sportsmanship.

B. Specific

1. To know the different procedures or steps in every Battery Test and Physical Fitness
Test.
2. Practice Morning exercises after flag ceremony.
3. Involve the school children to join in some extra curricular activities.

III. Development/ Projects

1. Required teachers and administrator to administer the Physical Fitness Test


(PPFT).
2. Integration of MSEP in all subject areas if possible.
3. PESS Coordinator demonstrates the Battery Test and Physical Fitness Test to
teachers and pupils.

IV. Accomplishment

A. Pupil Development
1. The Physical Fitness Tests were taken and recorded from Grades I-VI.
2. Conducted sports fest and field demonstration.
3. The pupils participated in the District Level Athletic Competition held in Sta.
Maria Elementary School at Sta. Maria, Laguna.
4. Pupils of Pao-o Elementary School Annex also participated in Unit Level
Chess and Track Event.
B. Staff Development
1. Classroom Health Corner
2. Joining Sports Fest and Field Demonstration

C. Curriculum
1. Teachers integrated MSEP in all subject areas.
2. Pupils develop their sportsmanship.

V. Problem/ Suggestions
1. Unavailability of pupils concerned was difficult.
2. Insufficient sports gear materials during sports fest.
3. Lack of support to the winning athletes.

VI. Recommendation

1. There should be sufficient supplies of sports materials.


2. Local activities must coordinate and participate in the school physical activities
to achieve the desirable result and success.
3. LGU/NGO/DepEd Central Office should help build/ construct sports facilities
so that pupils will be trained in official sizes of courts they will be playing.
