● Through this job, I learned how to politely treat people even when they don’t show you the
same courtesy.
● I started as a bagger, but quickly moved to cashiering less than a month later.
● Time management was important being that I was in highschool, taking a class at the career
center, and volunteering at the same time.

Externship, Jackson mi​ - student

● Although this wasn’t an official paying job, it was a good experience for the future.
● After completing a phlebotomy class, I did an externship with the local hospital. Here, I was
able to improve my skills and become better qualified.
