Interface and controls
This unofficial guide for NiOh contains numerous tips and a walkthrough encompassing the whole campaign. The said walkthrough is the most important part of the guide, with the locations of key items
and hidden elements that yield further benefits when discovered. The walkthrough is accompanied by screenshots that help in navigating the text, while added indicators help in recognizing the most
important elements of the world.
Aside from the walkthrough, the guide contains sections on numerous aspects of the protagonist's development, as well as the mechanics of the game with special emphasis on combat and skillful
use of found equipment. A separate chapter details how to survive boss encounters which conclude each level found in the game. Each section lists the weak points, as well as tips that will help you
counter him. The guide also contains a detailed outline of controls and interface. The final chapter is dedicated to trophies.
NiOh is an action game taking the players to Feudal Japan. Aside from samurais of Sengoku era, we'll be facing Yokai - demons from a dark universe that managed to access our world through interdimensional
portals. The game developed by Team Ninja enables us to assume the role of William, an English pirate pulled into a showdown between the most powerful superpowers of the world. A small scuffle with a certain
alchemist brings him to Japan.
The guide contains:
 A complete, richly illustrated walkthrough for each mission found in the game;
 Separate chapters dedicated to bosses and tips on how to defeat them;
 A detailed exploration of attribute and skill system;
 Chapters focusing on items and equipment found throughout the game;
 A detailed introduction to the interface and controls;
 A section describing each trophy found in game.
We've used the following color codes:
 The most important details concerning the mission at hand have been boldfaced.
 Enemies are marked in red;
 Blue is used to mark the items necessary for completing the mission or needed for further progress
 Green marks the locations of Kodama spirits;
 Orange marks the locations of Shrines.

Amrita and experience levels | Your character
The chapter below is dedicated to experience points and the ways to utilize them. You’ll learn how and when to use the amassed experience, as well as receive some info on its unique properties.
 Amrita
 Experience Cap
Amrita
The game introduces Amrita as a special type of resource that is desired by world’s superpowers, but when it comes to the game’s mechanics, we are more interested in its influence on the main hero. The most
common source of Amrita are the corpses of defeated enemies, with the amount of released Amrita depending on the type of enemy. Aside from that, Amrita is found in special items, or a certain amount
of it is given as a reward for the discovery of a new Shrine.
Amrita is used to increase the basic attributes of your hero, such as Skill, or Dexterity. You can do so only when visiting a Shrine, provided you have the necessary amount of points, which changes
with each experience level.
Amassing experience points (Amrita) is strictly connected to the Guardian Spirit of your hero. Your Amrita points will fill up the Living Weapon bar. Depending on the requirements of the aforementioned
ability, you’ll have to amass the necessary amount of experience to be able to utilize it. Your progress can be seen in the Guardian Spirit bar found in the upper left corner of the screen. Once you cross
the necessary threshold, the spirit icon will receive a specific animation, which means you can utilize the skill once you press the necessary combination.
If you were defeated, your Guardian Spirit will guard your corpse so you are able to retrieve your Amrita and the Living Weapon charges. If you are unable to reach your corpse and retrieve the charges
(e.g. you’ve died along the way), your spirit will return to the last encountered Shrine, which means losing unspent experience and Living Weapon uses. You can choose to send your spirit straight to the Shrine,
if for example, the amount of left Amrita isn’t worth the trip.
More details on Living Weapon can be found in the chapter dedicated to combat.
Experience Cap
Each experience level enables you to add one point to one of the basic attributes of your hero. The table below shows the amount of experience needed to advance to further levels.

Kodama Blessings | Your character

This chapter is dedicated to those peculiar, green ghosts that you can come across during the main missions in the game. By sending them to Shrines you can get various profits which are described in this
chapter.
 Kodama
 Types of blessings
Kodama
During each of the main story missions you can come across green creatures, similar to those that you could already notice near the Shrines. Interact with them and they will be sent to your Shrine, allowing you
to use their support.
Kodama Ghosts can be hard to find, that is why this guide contains annotations for each mission where you can learn about Kodamas' locations. After getting all of the ghosts you should see a
message popping up so if you haven't seen it, you should check out the description of a given mission and verify the locations marked in green color. As you may notice, Kodamas aren't the same. They can be
distinguished by the vessels that they carry on their heads.
Kodama can be found in a least expected place..

Searching for Kodamas is made easier by the fact that when you access blessings menu during a mission you can see a number of ghosts that are hidden in a location. Also, the number of already
discovered ghosts is also visible.
There are five types of ghosts and each can support your hero in a different way. The number of ghosts that you've send to a Shrine has an impact on the blessings and the profits that they offer.
Besides that, the number of ghosts in your Shrine has an impact on the number of elixirs that you receive when you are reborn. You may think that one elixir is nothing special but it may sometimes save
your life during a difficult fight.
Types of blessings
As I've previously mentioned, the ghosts are different. Each type of a ghosts is in charge of one of five types of blessings that you can use during exploration. You can get up to five ghosts per blessing.
Every time when you want to change a blessing, you must pay 100 gold but the amount of money is rather symbolic when you see how much gold you can get throughout the game.
Type Profits

Oracle Increase the amount of Amrita acquired by 5/10/15/20/25%

This option is useful when we want to level up faster. But also the more Amrita you get, the faster you are able to use the Living Weapon which allows you to use this type of attack more often. The percentage
gets higher by 5 with each new Kodama acquired.
Type Profits

Swordsman Increase weapon drop rate by 1/2/3/4/5%

As you can notice, the maximum percentage for this blessing is much lower than for other types. This is, of course, to keep the balance in the game. If you think that, even though you know your weapon well, it
is rather useless and a boss fight is near, you should use this blessing. You can sell or dismantle the excess weapons and, what is the most important, sacrifice them in Shrines which allows you to get
additional profits that can be helpful during your journey.
Type Profits

Warrior Increase armor drop rate by 1/2/3/4/5%

The situation is similar to the one above. Remember that this blessing is related to the number of armor gained and not their rarity or statistics.
Type Profits

Healer Increase elixir drop rate by 5/10/15/20/25%

This blessing is especially useful before a boss fight when the path from the checkpoint to an arena is full of enemies and you want to keep your, already possessed, potions intact. The blessing
loses its usefulness as you offer more and more items in Shrines which allows you to get more elixirs upon respawning.
Type Profits

Healer Increase drop rate of materials by 5/10/15/20/25%

An all-purpose blessing that is not especially useful during a particular mission but it allows you to begin new quests with a better equipment. Remember that you can start a mission and get a required
amount of materials and then, in any moment, go back to the starting point losing only an unused amount of Amrita. The rarity of a particular item is also important, although it depends on randomness
factor.

How does dying in NiOh work?

You will see this message quite often

Death is an essential element of NiOh. You will often see "This life has ended" on the screen. Each time your hero dies, you will be taken to the previously visited shrine. Unfortunately, you will lose all amrita
points that you gathered so far and accumulated charge bar of the "Living Weapons".

The grave will resemble our guardian spirit.

A grave, resembling our guardian spirit (one you select at the beginning of the game), will appear in the place of our fallen body. After "collecting it", amrita and the Living Weapons bar will return to their previous
status. If you die again, before you actually reach your guardian spirit, all the collected points will be lost for good.
Yokai realm | Gameplay mechanics

The area of Yokai realm is symbolized by characteristic circles.

The Yokai realm is an area that surrounds hostile, demonic creatures. It can be easily distinguished from the surface, as it consists of dark, wavy circles around the enemy. When a demon changes its position,
the Yokai realm area will remain at its primary position and then it will disappear. There can be several places like that at the same time on the battlefield.
When you move into the Yakoi realm, your Ki bar will be covered in a red frame.

When you move into the Yokai realm our Ki will regenerate at a much slower rate and your enemies will become more powerful. Furthermore, the energy bar will be covered in a red frame. When fighting demons,
one should drag them away from the Yakoi realm, as the battle can cause a lot of trouble.

Shrines | Gameplay mechanics

Shrines are very important

Shrines play a crucial role in NiOh. They can be used in several ways. When there are enemies near a shrine or a battle is taking place, the shrine is blocked and cannot be used. One should remember that
every time you use a shrine, opponents will respawn in the area. You can often find shortcuts near the shrines and you can unlock them as you progress with the gameplay.

Use shrines to level up your character

First of all, you can use shrines to level up your hero. You will require amrita points that will allow you to upgrade certain attributes: Body, Heart, Stamina, Strength, Skills, Dexterity, Magic and Spirit. To reach
next levels you will need more and more Amrita points. In Shrines, you can also adjust your Ninja and Onmyo Magic Skills.
You will be asked if you are sure that you want to sacrifice a valuable item

Offerings are the next available option. You will come across a lot of items that you can gather. You can use shrines to exchange items that you don't need for Amrita. If that item is special, you will have to confirm
that you really want to sacrifice it.

Use Shrines to access network options

The treasure option allows you to take items from the downloadable content. If we have all the available items, we will be notified about it. You may also use shrines to summon another player to assist you. In
order to do that, you need to have the Ochoko cup and sacrifice it. Once used, the Ochoko remains active summoning until a player is brought into the game. If you die while Ochoko is being offered, the offering
stops but it is not used up.
You can activate additional benefits

Another option is so-called Kodama Blessing. Collect little green creatures that will grant you further benefits. The Oracle blessing will increase the amount of Amrita you gather, Swordsman Blessing will increase
weapon drop rate, Warrior Blessing will increase armor drop rate, Healer Blessing will improve elixir drop rate and Hunter Blessing will improve drop rate of materials.

You can change the Guardian Spirit

You may also change the Guardian Spirit. Each Spirit will provide different benefits, so we should choose the Guardian Spirit according to our game style.
Exploration and combat | Gameplay mechanics
Exploration

Many times during your journeys you can come across bodies that can be searched.

At a first glance, locations in NiOh may look rather linear and simple. But, after taking a second look, it can be said that in Japan there are some interesting locations worth visiting. During your journey you can
get a lot of items, scattered around a map. You can come across bodies that can be searched or big and small chests that can contain an interesting equipment or elixir that you can use in your adventure. Look
in every cranny because I had numerous situations where, in least expected places, I found an interesting part of armor or Kodama.
Combat

Most of the times, the combat is very dynamic.

NiOh is an action game so everything, that is connected with combat, is very well developed here. In the beginning we must choose which type of weapon our character must use. We decide about our primary
weapon, for example, axe or sword. We also have to choose alternative weapon. This choice has an impact on your initial statistics.

In the bottom right corner you can see the stance menu from which you can choose the preferable one.

Another element connected with combat and tactics are the stances. There are three types: high, mid and low. High stance is best suited for a fight where you want to deal a lot of attacks which makes it a very
offensive oriented stance. Your attacks deal a lot of damage but its flaw is the defense because it can be easily overcome. Mid stance allows you to balance both offensive and defensive elements. Here, your
attacks are not as powerful as with high stance but your blocks are stronger which has a big impact on the gameplay. The last, low stance is a typical defensive stance - your blocks are hard to overcome but
your attacks lack the power of other stances.

There is a lot of equipment in the game.

In the game, you can get different types of equipment. Cold steel, such as swords, axes or spears. Projectile weapons, such as bows or rifles. You can also use Ninja skills, which you can develop during the
game by using the gained points. Also, you can use Onmyo magic. The ability to use it is also developed when you gain the experience for your character.
PUBBLICITÀ
inRead invented by Teads

The combat becomes harder when you are surrounded by enemies.

During the combat you must remember about a few rules. The first and most important is to choose your enemies wisely. The game itself, during loading screens, tells us that fighting with more than one enemy
at the same time means a certain death. And that is true. When you are surrounded, it is hard to win without a scratch. The next rule is to learn your enemies' behaviors. After a short observation you can know
what their body language means and how does their attacks look like. This is the key to success because when you know that a given attack has finished, you can go on full offensive and make an attack that will
take a lot of health points.

Enemies | Gameplay mechanics

This is not a boss...

You can divide the enemies into two basic categories: humans and Yokai, demons that hunt our world. As for the humans, their types can be distinguished by the weapons that they use. However, in case of
demons it is more complicated. There are many types of them. From small, theoretically harmless enemies to giant creatures that require a lot of work in order to defeat them.
The most basic aspect of fighting with bosses is to learn their moves

Each chapter ends with a boss fight. Most of the times, the first try ends with player's death and their knowledge about a boss is that how they look like. The most important thing about those fights is to observe
them carefully and learn their moves. Each learned attack and boss' behavior makes the fight easier. The key to success is to move a lot, jump and attack when the moment is right.

You can summon Revenants, ghosts of other players that died in that place.

There is one more enemy type that you can summon. They are called Revenants. In the locations you can find red markings. They are the places where other players died. When you approach such mark you
can see player's name, level, the cause of their death and the difficulty of the fight. You can summon such Revenant and fight with it. When you defeat them you usually get ochoko cups - they allow you to
summon other players to help you.
Statistics and weapon familiarity | Equipment

Color used to describe a weapon signifies how common the weapon is

During the game, you will find lots of weapons. They may be dropped by the enemies that you kill, or can be found in chests and on corpses. Each weapon has its basic statistics and you can determine
immediately whether the weapon that you found has a higher damage multiplier than what you are currently using or not. For that, use the arrow that appears while approaching the weapon on the ground. What
you can also determine at first sight is the item's rarity. This has been described by means of various colors. White represents a standard, common weapon; yellow represents an uncommon one; blue represents
a rare one and purple represents a one of a kind weapon. The highest the rarity of the weapon, the higher its capabilities and the stronger its special properties.
Weapons differ from each other in terms of special properties

It is a good idea to keep various weapons on you at all times. Preferably, these should be all rare or one of a kind ones. The majority of weapons, apart from dealing physical damage, also deals damage from
elements. While using them for fighting, you deal additional damage to opponents, e.g. from fire. Often, the effect remains on the opponent and the opponent suffers, temporarily, additional damage from that
element. Some weapons also have different effects. For example, the sword called Bizen Osafune allows you to regain health from lethal finishers. There are lots and lots of special attacks and the rarer the
weapon, the more of them there are. Often, it is the special attacks that raise statistics of the weapon in specific areas, e.g. block breaking with a strong attack, or frequency of dropping items, or amrita from
specific opponents, increased by several percent. Statistics and special properties can be enhanced and increased at the blacksmith's in the starting point. However, this does not come cheap. Especially since
you will be replacing your weapons quite often. Statistics themselves are also affected by your weapon familiarity. If you have been using your weapon long enough and you achieve full familiarity of that weapon,
statistics go up and you receive more amrita after you bless it in a shrine. You can speed up the process of learning your weapon by using a whetstone.

Weapon classes | Equipment

There are two types of weapons - melee and ranged

In the game, you can use two basic weapon types - melee and ranged. They are further broken down into classes. There are lots of melee weapons in the game and they are dropped by the majority of opponents
that you fight with. It is a good idea to have several types of weapons on you. Whereas some opponents are easier to defeat with sword, others will be more vulnerable to axe. In itself, melee weapons
have been divided into swords, axes spears and kusarigama. Swords are the most common type of weapons. You can wield either a single sword or two swords. In case of wielding two swords, your attacks are
faster, but they are proportionately weaker. It is much better to use a single sword, as speed and power of attack are properly balanced. Another weapon class are axes and hammers. Power of attack with
such weapons can be really high, yet it comes at the cost of speed. Due to their size, your character has to use a lot of strength to strike. Also, fighting with axe or hammer consumes more Ki. Still, appropriate
tactics of dodging and landing well-timed blows may make this class of weapon handy. Kusarigama are also interesting weapons, because attacks performed with them are relatively fast and you can
additionally pull the opponent towards you. While fighting slow and strong opponents, you can use a spear to increase range.

Among ranged weapons you can find e.g. bows and rifles
Another group of weapons are ranged weapons. It encompasses bows, shotguns or blowguns. Unfortunately, since you can only carry a limited amount of ammo, there is no point in using them as your basic
weapon. Using bows and rifles, you can eliminate other ranged units before they spot you. Combat is much easier when there is nobody to shoot at you. Often opponents use fire arrows, which deal even
more damage to you. All you have to do to kill the oblivious opponent is aim at his head (a red dot appears at that moment). Also, it should be noted that there are certain differences between using a blowgun
and a bow. While using a bow, you can freely move around the map while zoomed in. This is impossible in the case of a blowgun, where you have to stand still. Yet, the powerfulness in the case of the latter is
incomparably higher.

Armors | Equipment

In your inventory, armor is divided into individual elements

Just like in the case of weapons, armor is also categorized by its rarity. A full set of armor consists of individual elements: helm, breastplate, gauntlets, greaves and boots While choosing your armor, you should
consider your playing style. What is important here is the weight of the set. Heavy armors have high defensive statistics, yet they limit your maneuverability. If you want to move fast and dodge
quickly, you should get a set that is lightweight, but whose defense statistics are not that high. Therefore, your choice should depend on your fighting style.
Some armor types also add defense against elements

Armors also have a number of other properties that affect their defensive value. Each of the armor elements has special effects and statistics of resistance against certain elements. It is recommended that you
have several types of armor in your equipment, thanks to which you will be able to match it with the type of enemy you are currently fighting. There is no point in changing your armor several times
within the same mission, but this may prove to be a blessing during boss battles. For example, while fighting an opponent that wields the element of fire, you should change to armor set that protects against fire.
Also, you should note the requirements imposed on you by certain sets, such as strength, stamina or body level. If you want to use heavy armor, you should invest your points into strength and stamina. What is
important in the case of light armor is strength, body level, stamina and skill level.

Accessories and materials | Equipment

Accessories bolster resistance to elements

One of the more interesting and useful elements of equipment are accessories that you can equip your character with. These play several roles, of which two most important ones are bonus to defense
and bonus to attack. The most common accessories are talismans, prayer beads and charms. At any time, you can wear two pieces of accessories. When it comes to defense, individual elements ensure
special effects, whereas charms provide you with additional defense against elements. You can easily tell which element a given accessory protects against, by looking at its name, e.g. Water/Air Omamori
Charm.

Thanks to smithing materials, you can upgrade your weapon/armor, or forge a new one

The game also allows you to use smithing materials, thanks to which you can craft new equipment or upgrade what you already have. Also in this case, there are several types of materials and they
have been divided in accordance with their quality: standard, higher quality, high quality and top quality. Depending on the material class, you can craft selected items, or re-forge an existing one to increase its
statistics. You can do that at the blacksmith's in the starting point.
Usable items and mission items | Equipment

Hyottoko mask is one of the more interesting items

In the game, you can obtain a plethora of items that you can use to affect your character's actions. From the inventory level, you can assign them to specific keyboard hotkeys, which makes it easier to use them.
There are several items that you should have mapped to your hotkeys at all times. Health elixir is a must here, because this one is indispensable in combat. In some locations, you are exposed to poisoning,
either at the hand of opponents, or as a result of poison fumes in caves. To neutralize poisoning, you can use an antidote. Also, you can use several other items that remove negative effects such as paralysis.
Apart from healing items, there are also usable items that you can use to fuse your weapons with elements, or increase ninja or samurai points. You can also map to your keyboard throwable items, such as
stones or kayakudama, i.e. explosives wrapped in piece of paper. An interesting item is the Hyottoko mask, thanks to which you can spit fire at your opponents. It deals quite high damage and sets the
opponent on fire, which deals additional damage.
Often to obtain a storyline item, you have to defeat a more demanding opponent

An important element of the game, necessary for completing it, are storyline items. Most often, these are keys that open doors to the next part of the location. They are marked in blue. Usually, they are dropped
by stronger opponents that are necessary to defeat to push the story forward, or to loot the chest they guard.

How to develop your hero in NiOh?

This chapter is a set of tips that can help you in developing your character.
 Choosing your weapon
 Stats
 Can you undo the changes and distribute your points again?
Choosing your weapon
Between the first and the second mission you must choose which weapon you want to use. But the choice won't bind you to that particular type of weapon because later you can change what you want
to use and develop your character with different equipment in mind. However, the choice in the beginning of the game will have an impact on certain statistics.
Weapon Core Stat

Sword Heart +1

Dual Swords Skill +1

Spear Body +1

Axe Strength +1

Kusarigama Dexterity +1

The choice should be determined by your preferences and play style. During the prolog you can get a grasp of various weapon types but the ability to mix them up is also very important.
Let's assume that your main weapon is an axe. It allows you to deal a lot of damage but, regardless of your stance, the attacks are slow and their reach is medium. If this play style suits you then you should
choose your equipment so it will fill some gaps in this configuration. Spears give you longer reach. Dual swords allow you to attack faster. Kusarigama is a peculiar weapon that can be used in various situations
but the process of you mastering it may take some time.
What is more, the game allows you to unlock additional attacks and abilities for each weapon. If you decide that after a few missions the weapon that you choose is not very useful to you, you can
spend the Samurai skill points to unlock abilities for a different weapon. But you can't change your weapons all the time because some abilities are very expensive which means that you can't unlock them
unless you focus on a particular weapon.
Stats
Core stats are connected with a type of weapon that you use. The stats, visible in the table above, are related to a given type of weapon. Every time, when you raise a particular stat, you increase the effectiveness
of actions that are connected to a particular weapon.
You should remember that increasing a core stat has an impact on other statistics which means that more than one core stat is responsible for a particular battle or additional one. Each core stat has
a different impact on other statistics. More information can be found in the chapter dedicated to your hero's development.
Can you undo the changes and distribute your points again?
Yes, you can do this thanks to the Book of Reincarnation that you can buy from the blacksmith. This item allows you to distribute the core stats points differently than you did before. The Book can only be used
in the screen between the missions.
When you use it, you get back all of your points and the Book disappears. This may be done as many times as you want but each time, when you buy the Book, the cost of the item goes up.
How to get gold in NiOh?
Getting the gold in the game is connected with a certain set of behaviors that can very quickly become second nature to a player. The process itself is very simple and it is made easy because gold is
indefeasible.
Every time you die, you lose your Amrita that you carry. But when it comes to gold, the situation is different. No matter how many times you die, you never lose your gold which makes a correlation that the more
you die, the richer you are. This is because most of the enemies, after death, leaves a random amount of gold so replaying a single stage means that you get more money than when you complete
that stage in one try. This means that one of the ways to get more gold is to kill all enemies in a given location and revive them by using Shrines. Enemies are revived, no matter how many time they
were slew by you.
The second way is to sell the useless gear to the blacksmith. But in this case you must take into consideration your current needs. The selling method is not the best, especially in cases of rare
weapons because it is more profitable to dismantle them and, from the newly acquired materials, forge an even more powerful weapon. But if you want to earn some gold thanks to this method,
you should use Swordsman or Warrior blessing. Both increase your chance in getting items which leads to future profits.

Also, you can increase the amount of gold and items that you get by using reputation points. Getting Ungyo Titles is connected with reputation which means that you should stick to a given type of weapon for
a longer period.
A very important habit you should have during the missions is to destroy all of the chests, barrels and other destructible objects because this can boost your income. Most of the times, by destroying them
you can get a small amount of gold which, when compared to your overall gold, may seem nothing more than pennies but it can come in handy. Besides, those objects can also hold additional items or ammunition.
How to remove Nurikabe, the illusory walls in NiOh?
In this chapter you will find advice related to neutralizing and finding the illusory walls in NiOh.
 How to find the secret passage?
 How to deal with the walls?
How to find the secret passage?

In most cases you can find an opponent only by detecting the holes in the wall that are similar to the ones on the above picture. Once you get close to the wall, you will notice a pair of eyes looking at
you. If you decide to attack the wall with the eyes, you will trigger a battle with the demon.
It is worth mentioning that sometimes the game sets you in such position that you can see the back of the demon. In that case you won't see any special signs, but if you move towards the wall, information
"remove talisman" will appear. It is a direct signal that the wall you see isn't what it seems to be.
Another way to detect the wall is by checking the portals that enable you to summon wraiths. Each portal has information about how the player whose ghost you can fight had died. If he was killed by a
Nurikabe, you can start looking for the illusory wall in the chamber you are currently in.
How to deal with the walls?
Forceful solution might not be the easiest way, but it is an effective one. You can shoot the eye of the monster when he looks at you - this will initiate the combat. You can also simply walk towards the wall and
start attacking it. In most cases this method will be required.
If you manage to reach the back of the wall, simply confirm the removal of the talisman that keeps the creature alive. In this case the demon will disappear immediately and you will still be able to loot it.
Of course, this method depends on the map and the available path.
Gestures are important method of neutralizing the walls as well. Nurikabe can be in two states - peaceful and hostile. In the peaceful state their eyes are regular. Stand in front of the wall and use any gesture
from the blue set. The wall will disappear immediately.
If after using the blue gesture the eyes of the demon became red or they were red before, it means that you must use a yellow gesture. In both cases the wall will disappear and leave its loot behind.

Path of the Ninja | Training missions

This chapter describes training missions on the Path of the Ninja. It describes the missions. You will also learn how to benefit from completing their individual stages.
Novice
Mission level 5

Rewards Shinobi outfit; Young Ninja Lock of Hair

Even if you hardly ever use ninja techniques, it is a good idea to complete the missions described below because, thanks to completing this stage, you will have access to additional equipment and
additionally, you will receive an item that will increase your Ninja skill points by 5.
The tasks below are relatively easy, but in the course of the training, the game provides you with insufficient information on what to do.
After you have collected the items shown in the screenshot, you will have to use it in any way. You can do that from the level of your inventory, or map it to quick shortcuts and use it.
As a result, you will receive several skill points that you have to spend on the Ninja skills tree. For that, access the game menu and select the skills menu. Go to Ninja tab and select the only blue scroll there.
After you have done that, you will be able to use several shuriken.

Approach the Shrine and select the only option there. After you have prepared your shuriken, access your inventory and map them onto quick shortcuts.
At this point, the dojo will be attacked by two warriors that you have to deal with using wooden sword and shuriken. Unlike the rest of the opponents that you have so far met, they will not be passive, so
do not ignore them.
Eliminating them will be tantamount to completing your training. Use the portal to return to the mission management panel.
This chapter is under preparation.

The Way of the Warrior | Training missions

This chapter is dedicated to Warrior training missions. Here you can find a walkthrough for each mission and you will learn about the rewards for completing each step.
Novice
Mission level 5

Reward Young Samurai's Locks; Wooden Sword

In this case the rewards are not very attractive but it is worth to complete this set of basic activities because later you can do the higher level missions.
First, you must pick up the item laying on the dojo's floor. Use the item however you want to get a few Samurai points. When you do this, go to the skills menu.
During this mission the only skill that you can unlock is Sword Ki. You don't even have to use this newly acquired skill. Your next objective is to modify the buttons responsible for using a skill.
When you do this steps you must face two enemies that will appear in the dojo. You can use the newly learned techniques or eliminate them however you want.
When both are dead the mission ends and you get the reward. For now, new missions for Way of the Warrior are not available. In order to unlock them, you must finish the main quest missions.
Chapter in progress.
The Way of the Onmyo | Training missions
This chapter is dedicated to Onmyo training missions. Here you can find a walkthrough for each mission and you will learn about the rewards for completing each step.
Novice
Mission level 5

Reward Young Onmyo Mage's Locks x1; Onmyo Mage's Suikan set

Additional skills for Onymo Magic are always useful so you should use the opportunities to get them whenever you can. Besides that, the armor set which is the reward for this mission can be useful for some
main quest missions.

Just like in the other missions, the first stage is to pick up the item. Use it however you want and open Onmyo skills menu. Only one option is available so choose it.
You probably know that the learned skills must be prepared in Shrines so use one of them now. In Jutsu menu use the unlocked skill and assign it to one of the shortcuts. You need to do this to proceed further.
After finishing all of the steps, you now have to defeat a Sentry in the room. The enemy is especially vulnerable to fire so finishing him with the new skill shouldn't be a problem.
For now, new missions for Way of the Onmyo are not available. In order to unlock them, you must finish the main quest missions.
Chapter in progress.
The Man with the Guardian Spirit | Main missions
The chapter below contains the complete walkthrough for The Man with The Guardian Spirit. You’ll find a detailed approach to challenges present in this level, enabling you to complete the mission with as
many experience points as possible.
All items that you’ve managed to pick-up during the mission will return to you in the further part of the level, so make sure to find some weapons and equipment.
Each segment received its separate section.
 Escape from the dungeon
 The Shrine and a shortcut
 Courtyard and the Tower
Escape from the dungeon

We begin our adventure in the Tower of London. The initial phase of this mission consists of a short introductionary sequence which details the controls used in the game. Your cell is also a home to your
guardian spirit, whose mission is to show us the way forward.
The cell door is locked, but you quickly notice that one of the walls is weakened. Perform a strong attack, and the wall will crumble. You can now proceed to the nearby cell, and then to the corridor. Try
to complete the whole sequence without being noticed by the guard. If you destroy the wall and stay in your cell, the guard will quickly notice what is going on, and will begin to attack you. You can face
him using your bare hands, but the fight would be much easier if you’ve managed to find a weapon.
?
You can see the guard’s route through the grate. Smash the wall and wait until the guard appears from the right. Then, enter the neighboring cell and proceed to the corridor. The guard won’t notice
what is going on, so you are free to go right and enter the room at the end of the corridor. There you’ll find a chest containing a sword and guard’s boots.
Equip the found items and return to the corridor to face the guard. The enemies inhabiting this area are rather slow, so you don’t need to use dodges to be able to emerge unscathed. Control the distance
using the analog sticks, and take notice of your enemy’s range, as well as your own. Once you’ve won, search the remaining cells, which are now available thanks to the key you’ve found on the guard.
The way forward leads to the upper levels of the prison. Enter the passageway found at the end of the corridor, and use the stairs to ascend. The first chamber on the right contains a chest with Medicine. Take
the item and use the inventory menu to create an item shortcut, allowing you to use the item on the fly. Look underneath the switchback stairs to find another chest, containing the next part of guard’s armor.
Use the aforementioned staircase to continue.
The Shrine and a shortcut

The staircase will lead you straight to the bridge that can be seen on the screenshot. You’ll encounter two enemies. The one patrolling the bridge will engage you quickly, while the second one has a
ranged weapon and will stay behind and fire away until you manage to approach him. Once you manage to get into the melee range, he’ll draw a sword. It should be mentioned that ranged enemies are
more vulnerable – try to cover the distance between you and your enemy as quickly as you can.
The way forward leads us to the room shown on the screenshot. There is a guard room on the right containing two enemies. One of the guards leaves the room from time to time to make a round, so
wait until he leaves the chamber and eliminate the guard who stays inside. Remember to avoid drawing the fight to the corridor, as the second guard may join in, forcing you to fight against two enemies at
once. Look around the room – the chest contains additional elements of guard set. Once you eliminated both guards, cross through the hole in the wall and use the stairs to access the upper level of the
dungeon.

You can ascend straight to the second floor, but take some time and enter the first one. You should notice a Shrine (screenshot). Among other uses, it works as a checkpoint – in case of death you’ll
begin in this area. You should know that every retry resurrects all enemies appearing from that point, so don’t let your guard down.
The floor also contains a large gate, and a chest found on its right side. The chest contains a spear, which is very useful in the further parts of the game, but you can equip it right away. The gate is closed for
now, so ignore it. The chamber nearby contains two enemies. Similarly to the previous encounter, one guard patrols the chamber, while the second one stands still. Try to lure them out one by one, and
eliminate them outside of their chamber. The room with the columns contains a chest with an axe and medicine. Now you can proceed to the second floor – use the same staircase that led you to the
Shrine.
You’ll notice a guard room on the left. The room is empty, but there is a chest inside that is worth canvassing. Now you should hear a conversation – the voices are coming from a locked chamber. You can
wait for the dialogue to end, or simply proceed further.
This floor is patrolled by a lone guard. Aside from him, make sure to search the area, as there are two chests nearby. Then, use the staircase opposite to you to reach the area behind the large gate next
to the Shrine which we’ve encountered earlier. The floor below contains a vast chamber that is guarded by a single guard. Defeat him, open the gate, and return to the stairs. Proceed to the lower
level of the prison.
Courtyard and the Tower
A chest can be found near the entrance to the lower level of the prison, containing the next part of the guard’s outfit. You can go straight to the courtyard, or defeat the enemies found in the chamber to
receive access to two chests guarded by them.Proceed to the courtyard.

Defeat the patrolling guard and take a look inside the chest that can be found underneath the wooden stairs which you’ve used to access the area. Now, assume the position seen on the screenshot above
and turn right. You’ll encounter two enemies, one armed with a distance weapon. The melee fighter will engage you, so lure him to a location where the ranged one won’t be able to hit you. Defeat them and
search the chest that they’ve guarded.
Proceed to the other part of the courtyard, and descend down the stairs. You’ll encounter another guard. Defeat him and choose one of two ways. The gate to the left[1] leads to two enemies that may prove to
be too difficult to handle right now. Go forward and defeat the guard found in the corridor shown on the screenshot[2]. Make sure to search the chest[3] before you proceed forward.
Defeating the guard leads to a new open area, guarded by a lone guard who shouldn’t pose any difficulties. Once you cross through the corridor, you should see a wooden scaffolding on the left that you
need to access. Also, there is a group of heavily armored knights standing on the battlements found on the right side of the new courtyard. Climb onto the scaffolding and enter the short tower.
The tower contains a new Shrine - use it to save your progress. Now you need to decide whether you want to proceed in the direction of the boss, or take a short detour to further boost your
equipment and statistics.
Moreover, you can use the staircase inside the tower to ascend two stories up, or to access one floor below. The lower floor contains some Amrita and equipment. The floor above the one with the Shrine
contains an arena with two enemies, including one heavily armored. The way further leads to the wall which leads straight to the boss. You can also ascend one floor higher – you’ll find some smaller
items and be able to make a drop attack at one of the guards (if he is still alive).
You’ll be facing Derrick the Executioner at the end of this level - check the dedicated chapter of the guide to find tips on how to defeat him.
Isle of Demons part 1 | Main missions
The chapter below contains a complete walkthrough for Isle of Demons. You’ll find a detailed approach to challenges present in this level, enabling you to complete the mission without unnecessary deaths or
omitting items.
Each section details a separate segment.
 Beach
 Cemetery
 Yoki
Beach

The beginning of the mission will greet you with this view. First, pick up the item that lies directly before you. The found weapon differs, based on the type of weapon you’ve chosen between the missions. Then,
proceed to the Shrine seen on the screenshot above.
After the prayer, you can notice that the Shrine offers new options – get familiar with them. Before you proceed further, visit the left side of the beach and canvass the area to gather the items. You can
also notice an incomplete ladder, used as a shortcut – we’ll unlock it in the nearest future. Before you begin to explore the right side of the beach, return to the Shrine and save your progress.

The right side of the beach will lead you to your objective. Gather items found along the way and proceed to the building from the screenshot. The building is guarded by a single samurai, allowing you
to test some of the skills you’ve learned in the first level. Once you eliminate the enemy, search his body, and destroy all destructible elements found around the area, such as chests or barrels. Some
of them contain additional items which may prove to be useful.
Before you visit the upper parts of the level, explore the last part of the beach. Defeat the samurai and gather the remaining items. You’ve probably noticed the red sword (visible on the screenshot).
If you interact with it, an enemy ghost will appear. If you manage to defeat him, you’ll receive additional items, as well as glory points. The sword itself is connected to Isuke the Brick. More on summoning
points can be found in the separate chapter of the guide. Regardless of whether you’ve fought the spirit or not, you have to proceed further.

You’ll notice another building once you enter a small gorge. The area is guarded by two enemies. Lure the one who is closer to you, but make sure you’re headed in the direction where you’ve came from
– thanks to this move, the second enemy will stay at his post. Eliminate both of them and search the house and its vicinity. There are additional items behind the building, while one of the rooms is a home to
a Kodama spirit. Interact with it to ask him to join your Shrine.
Once you’ve completed your search, proceed deeper into the gorge. Eliminate the samurai armed with a spear. You should be standing in the location shown on the screenshot. Eliminate the enemy[1] and
search the body which he had guarded – you’ll loot your second melee weapon. Equip it, and proceed to the cemetery[2].The sword[3] is a waypoint to a different area, which can be ignored for now, as it’s
inhabited by enemies that may prove to be too strong.
Cemetery
Once you enter the cemetery, pick-up the items lying around and proceed to the upper level. You should encounter a samurai with a torch - lure him to you. However, be wary, as a second enemy may
jump onto the scene. Try to eliminate the first one as quickly as possible. Proceed ahead once you emerge victorious from the clash.
The next part can be a bit troublesome. Take a look at the screenshot above. One enemy is waiting for you in the bushes[1], while the second one is placed at a vantage point up on the hill[2]. Approach the
area just so the first enemy engages you, and retreat a bit so you’re out of the range of the archer. The matter is complicated by the fact that the archer will notice you first, and you should avoid being hit.
Once you defeat the spearman, run around the rock on the right[3] and proceed forward. The hill near the building is another location in which you need to defeat an archer, and then a samurai
armed with a sword. Use the ledge to reach the previous archer[2] that had a shooting practice earlier. The area is secure – you can now gather all the items found along the way. Once you’re through,
return to the location of the first archer.
The passageway shown on the screenshot leads to the ladder that you’ve seen on the beach. However, before you use it, turn left. You’ll encounter two characteristic enemies armed with pickaxes. They
may prove to be problematic, so lure them one by one.

Take your time to defeat them, as the same ledge is a home to a Kodama spirit.
Once you sent the ghost to your Shrine, proceed to the lower plane. You’ll quickly encounter another ”civilian” with a pickaxe. Defeat him, take the items, and proceed to the ladder nearby. Descend to
the ledge below and kick the ladder to unlock the way below. If you’ve died, you can use the ladders to avoid most enemies appearing along the way.
Skip the Shrine for now, and check if the ladder is active. Retrace your steps back to the building next to which you’ve killed the archer. Go left[1] and pray at the encountered Shrine. By now you’ve
managed to gather some Kodama spirits – you can choose the active blessing. Once you’re done, return to the building where you’ve eliminated the archer and proceed to the area marked with[2].
Descend to the lower plane, gather the items and proceed to the elevated area to the right – you’ll retrieve another Kodama spirit. Send it to your Shrine and use the land formation to access the upper part of
the cemetery. Gather all the items from this area, return to the Shrine, and use the gathered Amrita to increase your experience level if you haven’t done it yet.
Yoki
The way further leads to the top of the hill. Defeat the samurai and gather the items. At this stage you should have a ranged weapon – use it to eliminate some of the samurais guarding the house. Remember
that most of them can be eliminated with a single headshot.

Finally, you’ll find yourself behind the house that can be seen on the screenshot – take a look at it as it contains further denominations. Don’t enter the area yet, and be wary of the guard patrolling the area.
There is a well to the left – hit the stone on its edge to absorb some Amrita. Now for the action. The gate[1] is closed shut, but you can enter the smaller building[2]. There is a samurai inside, guarding
the chests with numerous valuables. Choose the weapon that you’re comfortable with and move for the front gate.
Take a look at the passageway on the left (marked with a red rectangle). Use it to access an area with a single treasure and summoning point, and a new Kodama spirit, found on the left side of the fence.
Now you need to choose whether you want to face a strong enemy at once, or stay in the area to amass some experience and equipment by defeating leftover enemies. While you’re at it, visit the
front gate of the outpost and pick-up the remaining treasure.

To continue the mission, you’ll have to handle Yoki, a demon that will materialize as soon as you’ll approach the Yokai realm (the entrance is seen on the screenshot). Yoki is quite strong, but also
vulnerable to fire. You can reinforce your attacks with elemental power using magic points or gunpowder bombs. Remember that staying in Yokai makes you incapable of amassing Ki, so your
visit should be as quick as possible (avoid using dodges while you’re there).
Circle slowly around your opponent, engage him with 1-2 strikes, and then move away to see his reaction. If he froze, throw a few bombs or use a ranged weapon. You can also have a Living Weapon charge
ready, and use it in the right moment.

Once you emerge victorious, search the bodies in the vicinity of the battlefield. You should find a key that unlocks the gate leading to the next part of the level. Once you open the gate, you’ll see the view
similar to the one from the screenshot above. Turn right – you’ll reach another Shrine in a moment. Use it to save your progress and spend the amassed Amrita.
More along the way – Chapter under construction.

Isle of Demons part 2 | Main missions

This chapter is the continuation of the walkthrough for Isle of Demons.
 Burning Village - entrance
 Burning Village - rooftops and alleys
 Burning Village - extinguishing the fire
 Exiting the village
 The ship's area, the cave and the boss
Burning Village - entrance

After saving your progress you should go back near the gate and collect the treasures hidden on the rooftops [1]. On one of the ledges you can find a Kodama [2]. Send it to a Shrine and go down. Use the
wooden catwalk to get the treasures and after that jump down. There are a few enemies here that must be eliminated. In order not to miss any of them, use the Shrine as a waypoint.
If you decide to use the passage on the left [1], you will have to face one of the dwellers. You should defeat him because, right after the right turn, there is Yokiwaiting for you. But if you decide to use the passage
on the right [2] you still must defeat another dweller behind wooden barricades. The spawn place for Yoki will be behind you. It is better to use the left passage because you will have more space to fight with
Yoki.
The rules for fighting with a Yoki are still the same - the demon is still vulnerable to fire and you can't stay in Yokai Realm. What is also important is that when you defeat the demon it disappears just like the one
in the mansion.

When you defeat the demon you notice that the road ahead is blocked by a wall of fire. Don't go near it to avoid unnecessary damage. You should summon the Revenant, shown on the picture [1], because
it usually goes straight into the fire which gives you free Glory points. The road leads to the left [2] but be careful because when you enter the passage you will be noticed by an archer. The best way to
deal with him is to run into the passage and immediately turn right. You must run around the building where the archer is.
When you do this, use the path behind and you will see a view just like on the picture above. Near the ladder there is the samurai that you can lure out easily. Remember to lure him to this place because
when you stay near the well you will again be in the archer's reach. If you want to have more space, then you must go to the rear of the house on the right [2] and eliminate the warrior which hides there.
Defeat both enemies and get on the roof of the building. You must get quickly to the ladder, use the interaction button and climb it as fast as you can. It is important to do it like that because the archer will try to
shoot you down and his arrows deal a considerable amount of damage.
Burning Village - rooftops and alleys
When you get to the rooftop get close to the archer and eliminate him. After that, you should go down and hit the stone on the well to get a hidden item. When you are on the rooftop on which the archer stood
before you will see the view similar to the picture above. In order to continue you must use this path. The center of the rooftop [1], which you can see on the picture, will collapse when you stay on it and inside
the building there is an enemy waiting for you. You can avoid the trap, get the item [2] on the last rooftop and use the ladder to go down.

What is important is that behind the ladder, under the small wooden platform there is a Kodama. You should invite it to the Shrine. There is another place with Yoki so you should visit the house with the
collapsing rooftop so you won't get ambushed when you face that bouncy enemy.
When you defeat the enemy inside the house with collapsing rooftop leave it and you will find yourself in the alley on the picture above. In the alley [1] on the right there is a single warrior. In the house on the
right [2] you can find a heavy armored samuraibut also there is a chest with something useful. The house on the left [3] may seem like a save place but there is a sleeping dweller so don't let your guard
down. When you finish searching through the house go outside. There is a spawn point for Yoki but ignore it and go left. You should reach the path at the outskirts of the location. You can jump into it from
the roof of the building with the ladder which allows you to eliminate a dweller on the path by using a jumping attack.
Take the treasures and walk straight ahead. Soon, you will encounter another dweller, sleeping in the grass. By using the passage you can avoid fighting the Yoki but you will have to fight with a few
lesser enemies. After that you will reach the door to the building. When you leave it go left where you can see the scene just like on the picture above. You must defeat yet another dweller and use the ladder
to climb on the guard tower. Alternatively, you can reach the ladder by using the passage on the other side of the location (right after you defeat the warrior and don't enter any of the house but the one
with the broken roof) but it is better to clear the area and get the treasures even if you didn't fight with the Yoki below.
When you are on the guard tower, jump on the roof ahead of you. Walk around the burning part of the roof and use the wooden catwalk to reach the roofs on the right. When you do this you will be noticed by an
enemy archer. Turn right so you won't be in his reach and, avoiding the fire, go to the edge of the roof. The archer is on the roof on the left. You can eliminate him by using your bow but the archer is not alone.
When you start shooting at him you will be attacked by the samurai. Eliminate them in any order.
The roof on which they stood is broken which means that if you got on it, you would fall down and land right in front of a heavy armored samurai. Watch your steps and avoid the wooden part in the center [1].
Your task is to unlock the ladder on the picture above [2] which opens the shortcut. It allows you to save the time running on the roofs. When you activate the ladder face the opposite direction [3]. There is
another area with a Yoki. When you go near the catwalk the Yoki will appear. You can fight with it on the roof or jump down near the ladder and finish the demon there. You can also jump down, wait for the
demon to follow you, then use the ladder and pass the catwalk. The demon stays at the bottom for some time but you shouldn't wait too much because Yoki goes back where it was before and you must fight with
it.
Burning Village - extinguishing the fire
Regardless of your choice, you are on the other side of the wall of fire. Your next goal is to push off the barrel, that you can see on the picture, on the ground. The water inside the barrel can extinguish the fire
and open a perfect shortcut to the Shrine. Use the ladder or just jump down. The area is patrolled by one dweller. Defeat him and enter the alley behind the second house when facing the place where the barrel
was.

Break the chest and turn right (on the left there is a wall of fire). Reach the ladder near the fence and climb up. You shouldn't encounter any enemies here. Use the interaction button to kick the barrel. By
doing this you have unlocked the shortcut to the Shrine.
You can use the roofs to proceed further into the village but the roof of one of the houses is damaged (the third house). Inside of that house there are two dwellers but there is also a chest that is worth checking
out.

If you stay on the roofs then you should know that on the near wooden catwalk there is a warrior with a spear which can't be seen because of the smoke. When you go around the hole he will charge at you.
When this happens, an archer on a small bridge between the towers will start shooting at you. Defeat the spearman and reach the archer as fast as you can. When you are on the bridge you can jump down on
a warrior beneath you and eliminate him by using the jumping attack. If you feel up to it you can do this but you will defeat only one warrior. The next two you must face in a regular fight. If you don't want to do
this, use the ladder with the Revenant near the tower. Kick down the ladder and use it.
Exiting the village
When you are at the bottom, first, get on the rear of the house in front of you [1]. Defeat the samurai and take the items. If you haven't already defeated the warriorsnear the camp's gate then there is a good
chance that when you enter the alley [2] you will encounter one of them patrolling the area. Defeat him and stick to the right side. Walk straight until you see the house with the dweller inside. Defeat him and
take the treasure. You have now reach the point where you begin your exploration of this part of the camp. Search for more treasures and go back here to finally go through the gate.

Before you begin the fight for leaving the camp you should go back and climb the tower with the Revenant. From it, jump down the hole to the rooftop. On the right, on a catwalk between the roofs you
can find an useful item and on the roof in front of you there is another Kodama.
Before you leave the camp you should break every barrel and chest to be sure that you haven't miss any of the treasures. You should also enter the house on the left on your way to the gate. Inside of it, near
the body, you can find a piece of heavy armor. There is also a chest with some useful items. When you go through the gate turn right. Your goal is to reach the doors that you could see near the Shrine but you
couldn't open them. Avoid guards and hard to access treasures, you will go back for them when you unlock the shortcut.

Defeat the guard with a torch that patrols the area and reach the hill on the picture. Even if you decide to defeat every enemy, don't go near the ship before you unlock the shortcut because it is a
boss arena.
When you reach the door you can invite Kodama to the Shrine. The ghost is near the fence from the side of the ship. You can now use the amrita to prepare yourself for the upcoming battles.
The ship's area, the cave and the boss
The ship's surroundings consists mostly of two buildings and the bridge that leads to the boss arena. Here, you can encounter patrolling warriors, near the house on the right there is a samurai with a
spear [1] and two warriors near the ship. One of the buildings has a broken roof [2] and inside of it there is Yoki. You can't open the door from the outside -in worst case you have to fight in a small arena or
perform a suicidal run in order to open the door. If the door are open, remember to kill the nearby enemies first.

On the shore you can find another Kodama. If you followed the hints than this ghost should be the ninth and the last one in this mission. When you are done go to the gate. When you are in front of it, turn right
and go down the side path.
Go under the gate presented on the picture above. In the cave there are many useful items such as Harakiri Sword. Thanks to it you can, at any time, go back to the Shrine but you lose amrita that you
carry.
If you gathered everything you should go back to the Shrine. Level up your hero according to your needs and prepare yourself to face this area's boss, Onryoki. The tips on how to defeat him can be found in
the dedicated chapter.

Deep in the Shadows | Main missions

The below is a complete walkthrough for Deep in Shadows. In this chapter, you will find a walkthrough for missions in the main storyline, which will let you complete it in the best way possible
 Caves - upper level
 Into the deep
 Cave bottom
Caves - upper level

After you have visited the Shrine, head deeper into the location. In the first chamber, you will encounter two opponents. If you have any problems with them, eliminate one of them with a headshot. After you go
up ahead, you will soon encounter an enemy on the left, in a small bay. During the fight, stick to the wall, or he will push you off the cliff. If you manage to push him off, you will lose what he could have dropped,
but it will make things easier for you. Finally, you will reach the location shown in the above screenshot. Before you enter the cave, bats will fly out if it. If you are not careful, they may push you off the
cliff.
Inside the cave, you will encounter two opponents [1] [2] patrolling the area. Other two [3] are sitting in the center of the cave. You can eliminate the one on the right with a headshot. As soon as you have done
that, you will be attacked by the other one. It is best to lure him out and to the cliff, where you can push him off. It is the only way, in which you can avoid fighting him and the remaining ones at the same time.
There is 'a warrior patrolling the bottom level of the cave [2] and an archer on the elevation [3].

On the right, down below, you will find more rooms with an opponent and Kodama Spirit. You cannot enter the Boss's room without the key, but you will quickly get the opportunity to obtain it.

Walk over the wooden plank, down the location. After a while, you will find a door on the right. Behind the door, there are two opponents, who you will have to fight simultaneously. It is a good idea to attack the
closest warrior right after you open the door, thanks to which you weaken him before the samurai joins the fight. After you have killed them, search the chamber. The Cat Spirit that has been accompanying
you will take you to the wall shown in the above screenshot. As soon as you approach it, you will see some eyes. Take a shot at them and the wall will turn into an opponent. He is easy to defeat if you stay
to his side and enchant your weapon with elements. Once you kill him, he will not reappear, until you restart the mission. The opponent plays the role of an illusory wall with useful items behind it.

After you have dealt with Nurikabe (the opponent disguised as a wall), you can obtain several items and enter a chamber with samurais. Attack the closest one with an overhead blow to make the fight
easier. After the fight, you will obtain the key to the boss's room. At the cave exit, there is one more warrior. It is a good idea to eliminate him and retreat to the beginning of the cave. There, you will find a
quite strong opponent [1], but if you sneak up to him, you will be able to deal considerable damage to him, without giving him the chance to respond. Apart from him, there also is Kodama [2] in the room.
After you climb down, deal with the opponents there and go right. Kill the archer, search the alley and return to where you have climbed down onto the ledge. Use the mechanism to gain access to the
treasure and return up to find it (if you want to). The important thing to know is that, if you fail, you will not have to fight your way through corridors and you only have to jump down onto the wooden beams.
Finally, go to the hot spring. After you have taken a bath, head deeper into the location. Past the archer, there is a corridor that will lead you to a Shrine.

After you come out of the spring, head towards the area you have not yet been exploring. Take the corridor to the left, kill the samurai and the archer. Walk into the corridor before the red sword and
summon Kodama hiding there to the Shrine. Then, walk into the corridor to the Shrine. Watch out. When you come close, bats will fly out on you and they may push you into the chasm.
Into the deep
Since there is a checkpoint around, it is a good idea to defeat the opponents here, who are not too demanding if only you draw them out into open. In the corridor up ahead, you will encounter three dwellers.
One of them has been shown in the above screenshot [1], the second one is deeper into the corridor [2]. The third one is hiding behind the chests on the right [3]. You can ignore him here, but, in such situation,
he may attack you while you are fighting a devil deeper in the location. Destroying the barrels will open a shortcut to the area, but you'd better not use it just yet.

As you proceed, you will find a recess on the left. The chest seems tempting, but if you approach it too fast, bats will push you off the cliff. Finally, you will get into the area shown in the above screenshot.
On the left, there is a skeleton archer lying[1]. Kill him and face devil Yoki [2]. If you manage to kill him, he will not respawn here anymore. Also, remember to destroy the green mushrooms shown in the above
screenshot, because inside, you will find a Kodama [3].
In here, you will also find another Nurikabe. Attack the wall, or fire at the eye to wake him up. It is a good idea to collect the items he's been guarding and, at the same time, activate a shortcut to the next part
of the location.

Climb down the descent that the devil guarded. The way leads left and, around the corner, you will encounter a dweller. It is a good idea to deal with him and go back, along the corridor to the right. At the
end of the corridor, you will find another dwellerand a skeleton, as well as several items. If you want to collect all of the treasures in this location, you should return to the area where you could have been
pushed off the cliff by bats, and jump down. There, you will find several opponents and finally, you will get into the spot that I have just described. There, you will also find a Kodama, so it is worth the journey.
Just like the previous one, this one is also hiding in mushrooms.
Cave bottom

The rest of the location looks just like what has been shown in the above screenshot. The path down [1] on the left is a dead end patrolled by several opponents with a large skeleton. However, there is also
a Kodama there, so you will have to go there. Finally, you will have to go right [2]. Defeat the skeleton warrior and you will gain access to another Shrine [3] shown in the above screenshot. It is necessary for
you to kill the guarding devil, because he will quickly charge at you, making it impossible to use the Shrine, and you will be trapped. After you have unlocked the ladder, you will start fighting your way towards
the boss arena.
Keep in mind that each demon that does not come out of the fog respawns, after you use a Shrine or die. Some devils and one-eyed opponents always stand in your way to boss arena.
After you climb down, kill two skeletons and take a look around the location. It is a good idea do lure out the devil, patrolling the area. In the corridor, you will encounter Kappa. If you manage to lock him out in
the corridor, finish him out as quickly as possible. At the end of the corridor, you will find Kodama and the ability to summon banshee. It is a good idea to kill the Kappa, because he drops many valuable
items. If you go up ahead, you will get to the boss, but it is worthwhile to search the rest of the location before you leave it.

The last Kodama in this location is in the cave guarded by several devils, dwellers and one-eyed ones. Even if you cannot spot it, you will hear a sound characteristic of the spirits while sneaking. Just
remember to kill the dweller lurking behind the chest before you open it.
Along your path to the boss, defeat the one-eyed, coming out of the fog. Then, enter the area. Search the caves and jump down onto the arena to start the battle. You will face Hino-enma.
The Spirit Stone Slumbers | Main missions
This chapter is a complete guide for The Spirit Stone Slumbers quest. Here you will find a walkthrough, as beneficial as possible, for this quest from the main storyline.
 Beginning the quest
 The road to Nue
 East Gate and Nue
 Ruins under Dazaifu
 Army of Sentries
 Put out a lantern
Beginning the quest
The mission starts in the yard. The visibility in this part of the quest is not very good because of the rain. On the left, you can find a closed door and the Shrine. The door is the shortcut to the Shrine so you
should open them form the other side. Look around and gather the items and after that, go in the only direction.
The road is patrolled by one warrior [1] and the next two can be met near the gate [2] at the end of the yard. You should look around the palace's walls where you can find some small treasures.
You can jump into the water at any moment but, unless you unlock some shortcuts, you return to the starting point. By jumping into the water you can inform your enemies about your presence. So you should
stay on the ground and turn left and get on the bridge. Kill the enemies nearby and go to the next bridge. On the other side you can find Yoki, hidden in the fog.

The next bridge can't be used but you can jump on the tree branch on the left. A Kodama is hiding there. You can use the branch and jump onto the next tree where you can find some treasures but, in the end,
it will probably end with you landing in the water or going back to the starting point.
Behind the destroyed bridge there is a dweller so don't get close to it because he will throw bombs at you. It is the best to go right after you've send Kodama to the Shrine. Behind a small shelter there is a dweller.
Kill him and knock over the burned tree branch on the left into the water. Thanks to that you can quickly go back to this place if you try to get the treasure from the tree. Go to the palace's walls. First, if you
haven't already killed him from a distance, go right and kill a dweller guarding a treasure. Now go back to the knocked branch and go North.
The road to Nue

In front of you there are two buildings guarded by ninja. You can meet two of them on a roof and one of them is in the house, near the treasure chest. Behind the building, near the wall there is another Kodama.
Then, proceed further. You can meet a Guardian Spirit that tells you about the history of the clan that lives in this place. Go to the terrace that goes around the house in front of you. One of the dwellers hides
there and right next to the balustrade, behind the chests, there is Kodama. Here, you have a choice. You can go right and proceed to the gate, where a boss fight awaits you. On your way, you must
defeat Yokiand on the houses near the path there are dwellers. They will do a good job in making your fight with Yoki harder.
If you want to pass without many problems, then you can eliminate dwellers near the road when facing the direction from which you came here. Next, stay close to the water. Knock over another burned tree
branch and lure Yoki that patrols the terrain near the broken bridge that you couldn't cross. Then, go South.

When you pass the road, but you are still close to the water, you can see a tall house on the right [1], near it you can find a One-Eyed Oni [2]. Ignore him for now but they care of One-Eyed Imp [3]. If you won't
finish him quick enough, he can change into a bigger version which makes things worse. It should be noted that when he uses his tongue to attack you, he steals your Amrita. It goes back only when you
kill him.
Keep the One-Eyed Oni on the right and go to the door that you saw in the beginning of the level. In order to open the door you must defeat Yoki and a few dwellers which shouldn't be a problem. Do not use
the Shrine and, instead of that, go straight to the tall building. From this perspective, the One-Eyed Oni is on the right so there is no problem in you using the left side and reach the end of the location.
Behind a smaller building there is a chest guarded by a ninja. Inside of it there is a East Gate Key. This item gives you the access to the Shrine right next to the entrance to the arena with a boss. After getting
the key you should check the area near the big building. You can get on its roof by using a nearby tree. There, you can find a ninjathat wants to throw you off the roof when you grab the treasure on the
edge of the roof. Under said tree there is a small shelter and behind it there is a Kodama.
East Gate and Nue
If you have the key and searched the entire area, then go to the East Gate. It is located near the big gate to the yard where you have to face Nue. Behind the gate there is a Shrine and next to it there is a
road. On both of its sides there are Sentriesthat start moving when you get close to them. If you want to investigate the area, try to move slowly so you won't wake all of them at the same time. Once they are
dead, they won't get up again. At the end of the road there is One-Eyed Imp that can be used to farm Amrita, if you need it to get a level.
Before you face the boss be sure to get 4 Kodamas and all of the treasures that are in this location. When you defeat the boss, you won't be able to go back unless you start the mission again. Tips
on how to defeat Nue can be found in the dedicated chapter.
When you defeat Nue go inside the building that he guarded. The road ahead is blocked by One-Eyed Imp. Talk with Fuku and she will teach you "Sorry!" gesture. If you want to proceed further, you
must show the gesture to One-Eyed. After that, the creature disappears and you can continue the quest. Search the chests on both sides of the gate and then use the elevator to go down.
At the bottom you find a Kodama. After visiting the Shrine go down the only path and go up the stairs. You very quickly come across two skeleton warriors in the room with Sentries.
Ruins under Dazaifu

Going further you can see the corridors just like on the picture above. You can use the narrow passage [1] but between the stones there is a pressure plate that activates the projectiles. If you won't dodge them
then some of the burning arrows will shoot you in the back. Important - the traps works every time. Both passages leads to the same place and both are equally dangerous. First, choose left one [2].
You won't find any enemies, that is until you get to point as the picture above. On the right there is a dweller [1] and on the left there is a Yoki [2]. First, sneak following the right side until the weaker enemy sees
you. Lure him out and defeat him, and then take care of Yoki.

Shortly, you can come across another Kodama [1] hidden on the right. But look out, there is another plate[2] that activates a trap. Defeat the archer the warrior and go to the platform on which the archer
stood. There is a hallway that leads to the further part of the quest. By using it you go to the place seen on the picture. Kill Oni-Bi, search the chest and use the Shrine next to the stairs.
Army of Sentries
Right after you leave the safe zone, on the left there is a Sentry. The fact that Sentries don't come back after their death makes things easier. On the left you can find another Kodama. On the stairs there is
a dweller. It is worth mentioning, that the Sentries that will awake are a little bit lighter which can be seen on the picture above. On the right of the Shrine there is a chest guarded by one Sentry. To proceed
further, use the stairs with the dweller.

The area that can be seen on the picture above has a few treasures but it is guarded by a giant skeleton, Yoki and a Sentry. Also, be wary of the dweller that will throw bombs at you from a platform. Try to
eliminate him as quick as possible by using a projectile weapon.
The road leads to the chamber that can be seen on the picture above. From there you can use two paths, the one on the right also allows you to get on the wall where the dweller stood. Besides that, the path on
the right is easier because later you can get shot by a skeleton archer which allows you to eliminate a Sentry.

It turns out that the big gate [1] in the chamber is blocked, just like the previous ones. You can go up the stairs and enter the hallway seen on the picture above [2]. At the end of it you can find a hot springs room.
By using this hallway you can also eliminate Nurikabe [3] that can be found on one of the walls after you get down. Approach every wall until you see the "remove talisman" message. If you first entered the
room on the picture above, there is a possibility that you have already killed it. In the left corner there is a treasure guarded by a Sentry.
Put out a lantern

In the next part of the quest you must go on the walls from which the dweller was throwing the bombs at you. When you pass the narrow passage you end up in the chamber just like on the picture above.
Defeat the Sentry in front of you. If you follow the path on the left you can get a few treasures and face Kappa [1]. Watch out for the pressure plate in the corridor in front of you. Further, you must face two
giant skeletons. The path on the right [2] is guarded mainly by Sentries.
Both paths leads to the room on the picture above. On the left, behind the rock there is a dweller and a secret passage with a Kodama. If you want to continue the quest you must proceed forward. You can
finally reach the first Shrine, which is hidden under ground, or rather the area above it.

Use the lantern from the picture above. By using it, you unlock all of the gates in the catacombs.
If you want to continue the main quest, go through the gate that you can see on the picture. This gate leads to the room with an army of Sentries. From this place you must get to the gate, the one near which
earlier stood the archer. There, you can continue the quest. However, it is recommended to visit other locations in order to find some useful treasures.
Use the Shrine and speak with the woman near the gate. From now on she will accompany you. Cover one of the lanterns near the door and your companion will do the same. In the next room there are a
few Sentries and Oni-Bi. In the central part of the chamber you can find One-Eyed Oni behind the fog.
Then, proceed through the next door. When you go through it, a cut-scene starts to play and you will have to face the boss. Your enemy is Tachibana Muneshige. The tips for this fight can be found in the
dedicated chapter.

The Silver Mine Writhes | Main missions

This chapter is a complete walkthrough for the mission The Silver Mine Writhes. Here you will find solution to the challenges that await you in the main plot of the story. The solution will help you in completing
this mission in the best way possible.
 The beginning of the mission
 Removing the fog
 Get to the bottom floor
 Open the shortcut
The beginning of the mission
Walk towards the Shrine after the mission starts. You can easily notice that there is no Kodama near it. It is so because you must find them separately for each region. The location of all spirits can be
found further in this chapter.
You can go in two directions from the starting point. If you go down, you will see a wall of poisonous fog. This is the path that will allow you to complete the mission, so your first objective is to get rid of the fog.
Go directly to the second corridor.
Removing the fog
You will see a dweller [1] in front of you - you can be seen on the picture above. If you try walking towards him, the bridge will collapse (it is already collapsed on the screenshot). Below you will encounter
another opponent and more poisonous fog. If you fall, you can return up by using the ladder [2] shown on the picture. In order to continue the mission you must use the scaffolding on the right [3]. At its end, on
the right, there is another dweller, so don't rush too quickly towards the treasure - the opponent can throw you down if you're not careful.

Walk around the fog and reach the place where the dweller was standing. Use the machine shown on the picture[1]. In the corridor on the right [2] there are four dwellers. What's important, the disappearance
of the poison caused by the machine lasts for about one minute. After that time the fog will appear in the area. Jump down after using the machine. Defeat the encountered enemies and focus on the rock-
like object which generates the poison. Destroying it requires a few hits, but the effect will be permanent. You must destroy the object with a fast combination since it regenerates very quickly.
Near the place with the "stone" you will find a Kodama that will join your Shrine. Explore the lower corridors and get up. Your target is the area behind the corridor with the four dwellers.

If you go right, in the dead end you will encounter a dweller and you will find a door that cannot be opened yet. Go left. Walk through the scaffolding and jump on the dweller next to the machine. The stone
is located in the place shown on the picture. In the area you will encounter two dwellers and a Yoki. The area you are moving through is located near the Shrine from the starting point of the mission. Once you
neutralize the source of the fog, you should return to the Shrine and regenerate yourself.
Further road leads down the corridor that you can see on the above picture. However, you should search all the scaffoldings as there is Kodama hidden on one of them. What's more, if you jump from the
scaffolding shown on the picture at right time, you can enter a secret area behind the second Shrine. There you will find a hot spring and a Kodama.
Get to the bottom floor

You will notice a few ladders after reaching the lower floor. First use the ladder that is leading up. You will be attacked by a Yoki and a dweller will be throwing bombs at you from the neighboring scaffolding.
Notice the above picture. At the end of the corridor on the right you will find a door [1]. Previously it was locked when you attempted to open it from the other side. Remain up and go to the place marked on
the picture [3]. You should unlock one of the ladders on the left on your way. Later this will allow you to use it. Under the chest [2]there is another Kodama hiding. After you send him to the shrine and try
moving forward, bats will throw you down. Explore the area behind the mentioned corridor and keep going down. What's interesting, if you jump from the scaffolding in a carefully selected point [4], you will
reach the scaffolding below. Another Kodama is hiding there. You should do it after all nearby opponents are eliminated.

Finally, you must jump down the scaffolding. There is a monk hiding in the fog. Use the machine and destroy the stone next to it after you kill the monk. A Yoki and a few dwellers are walking nearby.
Open the area below. The door shown on the picture is locked, but next to it you will find Kodama. On the right there is a corridor guarded by a dweller. At its end you will find a key to the door. Behind the door
there is another Shrine.
Open the shortcut
After leaving the safe area you will be immediately attacked by a Monk. Lure him near the shrine so that you won't fall from the scaffolding during his charge. Then go immediately to the lower floor. Don't use the
ladder since a poison fog is spread near the machine. On the lower floor you will encounter a few Yoki and a few dwellers.

In this chamber there are two rocks that generate the poisonous fog - you can find them on both sides of the pillar [1] shown on the above picture. Your main task is to open the door on the left. You
can also find two Kodamas in this area. You should search all of the lower tunnels as you can find a few useful things there.
The first spirit is hidden on the ledge shown on the picture. Go from the Shrine towards the pillar shown on the previous picture. Turn right and go across the scaffolding until you reach the ladder.
There will be a dweller on the left. Jump to the lower scaffolding on the right and enter the small corner. There you will find the Kodama. If you weren't already on the lowest point of this part of the level,
then underneath you will see a Yoki. You must enter the corridor marked on the picture. There you will find a ladder that will lead you to the unavailable level of this part of the location.

Once you get up, keep going to the right. Halfway the scaffolding you can raise your guard as a monk will fall at you from the chests at the end of the alley. In the place from which he come you will
find Kodama seen on the picture. Go to the left and then straight. You will reach a door that must be opened.
The corridor you have seen from the right is empty. At its end you will find the arena on which you will fight the boss. Your enemy will be Great Centipede. Advice related to fighting him can be found in separate
chapter of the guide.

The Ocean Roars Again | Main missions

This chapter is a complete walkthrough for The Ocean Roars Again mission. Here, you can find a walkthrough, as beneficial as possible, for this quest from the main storyline.
 Beginning the quest
 The first lantern
 The second lantern
 The second Shrine
 The third Shrine
 The third lantern
 Kodamas and Hot Springs
Beginning the quest
Head to the Shrine. Speak with Fuku, she will give you a fire amulet and a flint. Before you start the mission, you should visit the ship that is guarded by a few warriors. Collect all treasures and head towards
the buildings. Walk carefully on beams because you can fall into water which results in instant death.

An archer will attack you when you reach the end of the first bridge. Any ranged weapon, that allows you to eliminate him quickly, will be useful here. When you cross the bridge, you should head left. Kodama is
hiding behind the chests [1]. Right next to it you can find a long corridor [2]. From afar, you can notice a warrior investigating corpse but don't allow yourself to be fooled, he is only a decoy. When you try to
approach him from behind, you will be immediately attacked by an enemy that jumps out from the left. Defeat them but don't let your guard down because there is another warrior hidden behind the altar.
The first lantern

On the right from the end of the pier you can find a lantern [1] which is presented in the picture. Lit it and prepare for a fight with a miniature version of the boss of this area. When the battle is over you
must follow the only available path. A chest can be found in the building in front of you [2] but it is defended by a Yoki. Before you reach it, you can be attacked by a samurai on the right [3]. Try to leave the
narrow bridge as fast as you can.
After defeating the Yoki and collecting the treasure you can head towards the bridge on which you were attacked by the samurai. A warrior hides behind the wooden chests. Also, next to him, you can find the
second Kodama of this location. When you are looking from the perspective from the picture above you can find an archer on the right. Eliminate him. Keep following the path if you want to continue the
mission. You will be instantly attacked by a warrior that was lying on the pier.

You can notice a Shrine on the right but you can't access it yet. Head towards the chests presented in the picture. There is another warrior waiting for you behind the corner on the left.
You are now in the place presented in the picture above. There are two warriors on the right. Use the part of the pier, presented in the picture, to reach another part of the location. Use the passage that
will take you on one the rooftops. Now, you have to face two snails. The archer behind the corner on the left makes this fight more difficult. Lure the snails out on the marked part of the pier.
Remember that these enemies are very vulnerable to fire.

In front of you, behind the platform presented in the picture, you can find another Kodama.
The second lantern
In order to proceed further you must follow the path that leads right [1]. In the place, where the skeleton stood, you now have to fight with a snail [2]. Right next to that place you can find a gate [3], that leads to
the Shrine that you saw earlier. You can't open it from this side. Besides that, here, you can also find an illusory wall [4]. If you destroy it, you will be able to quickly reach another lantern [5]. There are doors
on both sides of the altar with the lantern. Those on the right can only be opened from the other side but behind those on the left you can find two skeletons and a chest with a treasure.

What is more, you can also find another Kodama behind the altar.
The second Shrine
Before you move to another part of the location you should get on a rooftop by using the previously mentioned passage. When you get there, you should go left and kill a skeleton that hides there. You
finally reach a hole in the roof. If you go left, you will be above a chamber, the one that you saw a Yoki jumping into (the beginning of the location). Defeat the enemy and use the ladder to reach
the Kodamapresented in the picture.

If you go right then you will have to face a skeleton that patrols this part of the rooftop. When you defeat it, you must reach the end of the path. You can now see a Shrine below you.

Jump down, use the Shrine and follow the only available path that leads to the door. Open them and you will reach the starting point. The path in front of you leads to another part of this location, a burning
lantern is on the left and a path that leads straight to the boss arena is on the right.
The third Shrine
Go through the door that leads to another part of the location.

The path ahead of you leads left but if you reach the edge of the wall on the right and go behind it, you will be able to find a Kodama hiding on a pier. Send the creature to a Shrine and head to the tipped ship.
On the right, you will find a snail. Go straight ahead when you leave the shipwreck. Defeat a skeleton and you will reach a for.
Turn left and reach the end of the pier. The treasure, that you can see there, is guarded by a snail. When you defeat it, you must go back and then straight ahead. At the end of the path you can find a building
with a Shrine but it is guarded by a Yoki hidden in a mist. If you want to reach that room, you must also defeat two skeletons. After that you can use the Shrine and walk around the building. You reach a
ladder that can take you on its rooftop.
The third lantern
When you were near the Shrine, you could notice a Yoki that patrolled the area next to you but it was separated from you by deep water. When you get on the rooftop, you must head left and, soon, you will
reach a ladder that can take you to that area. Watch out while you are going down the ladder because one additional move and you are in the water.
When you are facing the Yoki, you must only watch out for the holes in the pier. Besides that, you should have no problems with defeating it. After defeating the enemy, you can light up the last lantern in
the area.
You must now return on the rooftop so go back to the ladder, the one that you used to get here. Reach the rooftop and go left.
Kodamas and Hot Springs
There are a few holes on the other side of the rooftop and behind them, there is another skeleton. You can notice a barge that crashed into the building, you can get inside it from the rooftop. A giant
skeleton roams this area.
If you plan on fighting with this enemy then you must know that there is a small skeleton on the barge that will quickly join the fight. When you are done, you can go down a ladder and reach the lower level of
the ship. There, you can find a Kodama. The second Kodama is below the footbridge that leads from the barge on the rooftop.
You can explore the area that was guarded by the giant skeleton but your overall goal is to go through the rooftop, left from the footbridge presented in the picture. This allows you to enter the tipped
shipwreck, the one through which you passed before. On the right, you can find one skeleton with a bow. Kill the enemy and reach the end of the barge on the right. You can notice a snail below you. Jump
down on it and hit the enemy while you are in the air.
Thanks to that, you reached an area that can't be entered via regular paths. A Kodamais in the same place in which you have fought with a snail. The path on the right leads to Hot Springs but on your way, there
you can be attacked by two Yoki. After that you can use the springs.

In the same place you can find the last Kodama of this location. When you are heading towards the Hot Springs you simply have to go far to the left.
If you want to leave this area, you can use the door that will lead you to the house with the second lantern. By using the passage, you can easily access the second Shrine that is closest to the boss. You now
have to fight with Umibozu. All tips for that fight can be found in the dedicated chapter.

Spider Nest Castle | Main missions

This chapter is a complete walkthrough for Spider Nest Castle mission. Here, you can find a walkthrough, as beneficial as possible, for this quest from the main storyline. This mission ends with a
fight with a boss called Joro-Gumo.
All topics were described in their dedicated sections:
 Beginning the quest
 Area near the bridge
 The undergrounds and the castle
Beginning the quest

Watch out for the enemies lying on the ground

When you start the mission, you can notice a Shrine in front of you. Visit it and then go down the path. Watch out for two enemies lying on the ground. When you get closer to them they will stand up and start
attacking you. The best way is to approach them one by one. You can find a chest inside of the building that is behind them. When you go further you must turn right. There, you can see spider eggs and behind
them you can find corpses that can be looted. Change your combat stance to high because small spiders will come out of the eggs. They are hard to hit and that's why you should use that stance.

Get rid of the archer so it won't bother you during the fight
After searching the corpses, you can then go up by using the spider web. When you reach the top, you must watch out for a spider that will attack you. You must especially watch out for its web with venom that
it spits out because it inflicts a status that slows you down. The best way to deal with them is to use blocks and dodges. When you reach the top, you must go on a rooftop from which you can take out an archer that
stands on one of the towers.

A giant spider will emerge from the cocoon

While you are on the rooftop, you can shoot the cocoon presented in the picture. You lure a giant spider and open a passage to another part of the location. At first, fighting with this enemy may seem difficult
because it's bigger than the other spiders and its attacks are much stronger. However, blocks and dodges are your key to success. When you defeat the enemy, it will drop 1 Hiragumo Teakettle fragment. On
the right side of the door you can find another spider located on the wall. It will attack you when you get closer to it. After eliminating the enemy, you can pick up items in this part of the location. Use the ladder
and reach the tower on the left. There, you can find a corpse that can be searched. Another body is in the building next to the tower, the one on which the archer stood. Watch out for spiders inside of it. Another
corpse can be found on a rooftop of the burned building. If you want to get there, you must go around it and reach its back. After that you must climb up by using a spider web. There, you can find one
bigger spider and a few eggs.
Area near the bridge
A Shrine is located on the other side of the bridge

When you are done with this part of the location, you can use the door on which the cocoon was before. Cross the bridge and activate a Shrine. Next to it you can find door, however, you can't open them from
this side. They can be opened later. Move forward and stay close the wall. At the end of it, between stones, you can find spider eggs and a corpse that you can loot. Move forward and defeat a spider that stands
on the path.

Watch out for the boulder that will roll towards you

When you move further, you must watch out for a boulder that will roll towards you. When you hear a characteristic sound, you will have to hide near a wall. You can notice an archer that can be eliminated
from a distance so he won't interrupt your upcoming fight with a Yoki. After that you must follow the path. You can notice a corpse behind a corner. Go to another square and watch out for an archer located on
the tower on the right. You can also find useful items located on the same tower. The square contains two more enemies: a skeleton and a Yoki that are inside of the building. When you attack the Yoki, you
may be attacked by small spiders that can come from the eggs. You can skip this fight but you will lose a chance to get some items.
Jump down and unlock a passage

Jump down into the building by going through a hole in the roof and defeat a spiderthat is inside of it. When you leave this place, you must head right immediately because there, you can unlock a shortcut from
the last Shrine that you activated. When you open the door, you can get into the water and collect items. After that you must defeat another spider that blocks the passage with a cocoon. By defeating it you
get the second Hiragumo Teakettle fragment. Open the door that were blocked by the spider and move forward.

You can use various paths during your exploration of the locations

Leave the building and head left. Watch out for a spider that will attack you from behind. Then, you must head to Yokai Realm and defeat a Yoki and a spider. Collect items from the corpses, open a chest and
head towards a passage between a wall and a building. Reach the end of it and enter the building inside of which you can find a chest. Then, use the ramp and enter inside. A Yoki and a corpse that you can
search can be found behind the wall on the left. A few steps ahead there is a spider and another corpse.
Defeat the Yoki and get a quest item

Left from the ramp you can find a room with spiders and a Yoki. When you defeat the enemies, you will be able to pick up Key to castle gates from corpse. You can destroy the screen on the left of the
corpse, this unlocks a passage to Hot Springs. After that you must leave the room and head left. Watch out for the archer located near the exit from the building and for an enemy with a spear that will attack
you from the right. Defeat them, collect items and open the gate. When you enter the garden, you must immediately open another gate, this will unlock a shortcut. Then, head towards the corner of the garden.
The undergrounds and the castle

Spider web will break the fall

Jump down the hole presented in the picture above and don't worry, the spider web will break the fall. During your exploration of the caves you must watch out for spiders that hang down from walls and ceiling.
If you want to kill them, you can either use a ranged weapon or get closer to them so they can jump on you. If you chose the second option then you must watch out for damage that they can deal you. After
defeating all spiders in the first part of the cave you can move forward by going through a corridor. Before you approach the cocoon, you must provoke a Yoki to attack you by, e.g. using a ranged weapon. After
killing another giant spider, you will get the third Hiragumo Teakettle fragment. Search other parts of the cave and move forward by going through the corridor. Use the ladder and go up.

The cocoon is located on a tower

When you reach the surface, you should go down the path on the right. Defeat two enemies and collect items. Then, you must go back towards the ladder. Next to it you can notice a place with spider web. Climb
up, reach a rooftop and drop the ladder down. This unlocks a shortcut. Then, you must head left from the ladder. Move forward and watch out for a Revenant that will attack you, even though you didn't summon
it. After that you have to face new enemies, including another Revenant. Defeat the giant spider from a cocoon and you will get the fifth Hiragumo Teakettle fragment. Search this place carefully and then
head towards the ladder on a rooftop, the one that you dropped. Go back to the Shrine near the bridge and head towards the enemy that threw the boulder towards you.

Use the path and go up

Defeat all enemies that reappeared. You reach the place where you jumped down. This time, you must go up and follow a path that can take you near a building with a Yoki inside of it. On the top, you can find
a gate that can be opened with the Key to castle gates. Behind them, you can find another Shrine. Next to it there is a building, however, its entrance is blocked by crates. Destroy them, enter inside and search
a chest. Follow the path that goes between rocks. A skeleton awaits you behind the corner. Defeat it and go down a ladder. Watch out for an enemy with a spear that will attack you from the right. A few steps
later you will come across two spiders. One of them is inside of a hole in a rock and the second one is near the bridge made out of spider webs. Defeat the enemies and open a gate. This unlocks another
shortcut. You must also kill a giant spider from a cocoon and pick up the fourth Hiragumo Teakettle fragment. After that you must go back to the Shrine.

The best way to eliminate the archer is to use a ranged weapon

When you go back to the Shrine you should first go near the stairs and search a corpse. After that you can go up. When you reach the top, you will be attacked by a Wheelmonk. Watch out for an archer that
stands on stairs. You can defeat it by using a ranged weapon. Another cocoon can be found on the left side of the building. Defeat the spiders and collect the sixth Hiragumo Teakettle fragment. Enter the
building and watch out for another spider that will jump on you from the ceiling. Move forward. When you get closer to the stairs, you will be attacked by a skeleton and yet another spider. When you go up, you
must watch out for a Sentry that guards the stairs. The best way to deal with him is to make him go down. There is another spiderthat waits for you. When you defeat the enemy, you should wait with going up
the stairs. Instead, you should jump down on a spider web. Thanks to that you are now in a room with a Shrine and a gate that you can unlock. You may also go up and collect treasures. Watch out when you
are opening the big chest because you will be attacked by a Mujina. After that, you must go back to the stairs. There is a door on top of them that leads to the arena where you have to face the boss - Joro-Gumo.

Falling Snow | Main missions

This chapter is a complete walkthrough for Falling Snow mission. Here, you can find a walkthrough, as beneficial as possible, for this quest from the main storyline. This mission ends with a fight with
a boss called Yuki-onna.
All topics were described in their dedicated sections:
 The first crystal
 The second crystal
 The third crystal
 The fourth crystal
The first crystal

If you want to destroy crystals, you must kill the butterflies first

When you start the mission, you should head towards the nearest buildings. While you are on your way, you should defeat a skeleton. The archer, located near the buildings, should be killed with a ranged
weapon. This method is the best because you will encounter two more enemies here. For now, you shouldn't pay attention to the crystal. When you reach the building, you should get on its rooftop but watch
out for a dweller that waits for you near the ladder. When you defeat all enemies, you can pick up treasures. After that you must follow the path. While you are on your way, you can come across closed door that
can be opened in the later part of the mission.
Watch out for Oni-bi that will suddenly appear

When you notice the Yokai Realm, you should approach it carefully because you will be attacked by Oni-bi that will suddenly appear. When you defeat them, you can try and face Onyudo. If you win, the demon
will never appear here again. Go a few steps forward and turn right because there is a Shrine hidden behind the wall. Keep moving forward until you reach a well. Hit the stone and collect a treasure. The archer,
that you can see in front of you, should be defeated with a ranged weapon. Watch out because a Yoki will attack you in the place where the archer was. On the left, you can see a crystal and a treasure. When
you approach them, you will be attacked by Oni-bi. Go through another ice corridor and destroy butterflies. After that, the power of the crystal disappears and you are able to destroy it.
The second crystal

Unlock the shortcut

Go through the crystal and fight with two Yoki. At the end of the path you can unlock door and a shortcut. After that you should follow the path and enter the building on the right. On the other side of the building,
on the left, there is an One-Eyed Imp. Deal with this enemy first so it won't turn into its adult form. After that you can defeat an One-Eyed Oni. Then, you can open a chest and collect treasures.
Defeat a Flying Bolt

After that you must go to opposite direction and follow the path. Enter the arena and face Flying Bolts. When the fight is over you can get on a rooftop of the nearby building and collect treasures. Approach
the spearman that guards the ladder. Go up and jump down on the other side of the rooftop. There, you will be attacked by a Yoki. Defeat the enemy and then destroy butterflies which allows you to neutralize
power that surrounds the crystal. Enter inside and open a chest. Watch out because you will be attacked by a Mujina. Then, you must go through the snow corridor and destroy the crystal, the one that you saw
at the beginning of the mission.
The third crystal

There are three available paths

You can find three paths in another part of the location. The one farthest to the right leads to skeleton warriors that guard a treasure chest. The second path leads on a rooftop of a building where you can find
treasures and face an archer and Oni-bi.
Kill the dweller with a ranged weapon so it won't be a hindrance during the fight

The third path leads to a building that is guarded by an archer and a skeleton. Inside of the building, you will have to face Onyudo. Before you attack it, you should take out a dweller by using a ranged weapon.
Otherwise, this enemy will keep throwing bombs at you. Defeat a Yoki and an archer that are behind the building. After defeating the enemies, you can search the area and look for treasures (the chest is located
near the left wall of the building) and then destroy butterflies. Go back inside and break the crystal.
The fourth crystal

The passage that leads to the last crystal

The next part of the location has two paths. Go forward. Defeat One-Eyed Imp and One-Eyed Oni. Then, head towards the building on the right. Defeat a Flying Bolt that waits for you around a corner and go
up. Go to the opposite side of the rooftop and jump down. Defeat Kappa and destroy butterflies. Go up the snow mound and then jump down from it. Break the crystal and activate the Shrine. Follow the path
that was previously blocked by the crystals. Keep moving forward and turn right when you approach a wooden bridge. Open the door and defeat a Flying Bolt that is behind them. Behind the enemy, among
wooden constructions on the right, you can find butterflies that you must destroy if you want to get rid of the crystal that blocks the path to the boss.

Butterflies are among the wooden constructions, destroy them

The second option is to turn left immediately. Destroy a wooden wall and enter into a building. Inside, you will have to face Karakasa Umbrella. Cross the wooden bridge and kill the archer that stands on your
way. You can now choose from two paths: the one on the left allows you to unlock closed door, the ones in the location next to the well but if you go right and then left, you can find Hot Springs. Take a bath and
go back to the previous location. Defeat a Flying Bolt. The easiest way to lure that enemy out is to use a ranged weapon because there is a Yoki that stands next to the enemy. In the building behind it you can
find chests but before you are able to open them, you must defeat fire Oni-bi and a skeleton first. Approach the gates that can only be opened from this side. In front of you, there are wooden constructions with
butterflies. Kill them so you can remove the crystal that blocks path to the boss - Yuki-onna.

The Demon of Mount Hiei | Main missions

This chapter is a complete walkthrough for The Demon of Mount Hiei mission. Here, you can find a walkthrough, as beneficial as possible, for this quest from the main storyline. This mission ends
with a fight with a boss called White Tiger.
All topics were described in their dedicated sections:
 The first crystal
 The second crystal
 The third crystal
The first crystal

You can see a Shrine right after you start the mission

There is a Shrine next to you. Next to it there are door that lead up. There, you can find treasures that are guarded by two dwellers. Defeat them and go down. You can notice a One-Eyed enemy but don't attack
him because the crystal, that is next to him, regenerates the enemy's health points. Destroying a crystal while you are on the surface is difficult as well because its energy also regenerates. Instead of that, you
should turn left where you can see two paths. Walk down the first one and you will find a Kodama that is hiding behind a tree. When you walk down another path, you will see a building. Enter inside and go down
the ladder.

Defeat Nurikabe in order to unlock a path

When you are at the bottom, you must keep moving forward. If you open the door on the sides, you will be able to collect treasures. Defeat Nurikabe on a wall on the left, after the first turn, and unlock a secret
path. Watch out for new enemies, mages. They are easy to defeat and the only thing that can cause you problems are their magic attacks. However, you can easily block them or dodge.

You must destroy the crystal

You can see three mages and a crystal. Defeat the first enemy with a headshot. Now, you only have to deal with two of them. When you kill the remaining enemies, you will be able to destroy the crystal. Exit the
cave and head left to a ladder. You can also stay here for a moment and look for treasures. When you get back on the surface you can notice that the One-Eyed enemy disappeared and in the place where the
crystal was, now, you can only see a hole (be careful so you don't fall down into it).
The second crystal

Watch out for the hole

Go around the hole and go up. Then, follow the first path on the right. It is blocked by crates but you can destroy them. You can find a Kodama at the end of it. Collect treasures and move forward. While you are
on your way, you can come across a dweller. You now reach a fork. On the right, you can find a Shrine and a treasure. On the left, there are two buildings between which there is a Yokai Realm. Before you
start the fight, you should a dweller located on the top so it won't interrupt the battle by using his bombs.

You can search the buildings

Defeat the One-Eyed enemy and search the buildings that are in this part of the location. You can find a few items and face skeletons as well as a dweller. If you go forward, you will see a Yoki and an Onyduo that
are near a crystal. Don't fight with them and, instead of that, you should stick to the right so you won't provoke them. Thanks to that you go around the crystal and reach a place where you can go down to
undergrounds. When you do that, you should watch out for a spearman that will attack you. Keep moving forward until you reach a fork. First, you should go left and open the door.

Avoid the crystal and enemies by going right

Behind them, you can find a Yoki and a crystal that must be destroyed. In the room below the wardrobe you can also find a Kodama. Walk down another path, defeat a Yoki and pick up items. Move forward by
using another path. Watch out for skeletonsand another Yoki. Defeat the enemies and pick up treasures. After that you can go outside. You can now use another Shrine. You can find another Kodama. It is
located on the other side of the building that stands in front of you. If you follow the path that leads left, you can find a Kodama that stands next to another building. The same path can take you to the place where
the second crystal was. There, you can collect a few treasures.
The third crystal

On the left - a way down, on the right - a path to Hot Springs

While you are on your way to a Shrine you can turn right behind the building and defeat dwellers that will attack you. On the right, you can see a building and a ladder. Use your ranged weapon and kill the enemy
that is above you. Then, use a ladder to get there. When you are on the other side of the building, you must jump down. This allows you to avoid enemies that gathered around the crystal. Move forward and on
the first turn that leads left you can collect a Kodama. Then, you can see a way down but before you use it, you can go through grass and reach Hot Springs.

Behind this door you can find another crystal that you must destroy
Go down and turn left. Watch out for dwellers, that stand near a body, and for a spearman. At the end of the path you can find door that leads to a cave with a crystal. It is guarded by One-Eyed Imp and
two mages. Deal with the Imp first so it won't have time to turn into its adult form. After that you are able to destroy the crystal. Go up and reach Nurikabe. Defeating this enemy allows you to unlock passage
that leads to the last Shrine. When you leave the cave, you can go forward and defeat a Yoki and collect treasures. A few steps further you can find a ladder. When you go up, you can choose from two paths:
the one on the left leads to the place where the last crystal was and the one on the right leads to the boss arena.

Kodama can be found on a cemetery among graves

If you go left, you will have to face a warrior and a Yoki. A bit further, on the right, there is an area with an enemy that is similar to Nue. It is also protected by a crystal. The best way to destroy the crystal is to
activate a living weapon and deal quick attacks. You can also jump down the hole left by the crystal and collect items. Use the door to leave the cave, they can only be opened from inside. Tips for fight with
a Nue type enemy can be found in the dedicated chapter. While you are on your way to the boss, you can stop at a cemetery and collect a Kodama that hides among graves. The boss arena is located at the
top of the stairs. Behind the door, you will have to face White Tiger.

This mission starts on a mead. There is a shrine here and a Kodama on one of the paths. Enter the mountain through the entrance next to the shrine. Inside, you will fight soldiers. In one of the caves, behind
the fog, there is a yoki. After you have defeated it, you can collect several interesting items. Afterwards, walk outside and defeat the opponents.

Activate the shrine

As you go left, you will reach a location, where you have to defeat three locals and a yoki, who comes out of the fog. After the fight, open the chest, collect the loot and follow the path up. Along your way, you
will have to fight several soldiers and ninjas. Once you activate the shrine, do not enter the cave and climb down, to send away a Kodama. Then, return here and make it over to the other side of the
mountain.
You can either fight or get around the raven

Once you climb down the ladder, you will have to fight a raven. You can avoid the fight, if only you jump down onto the ledge below earlier. While you are here, climb down to the house that you can see
underneath. Inside, there is loot and behind it, there is a Kodama. There is another Kodama on the ledge that you have to jump down onto, while you are climbing back up.

After you have killed or avoided the raven take one of the two paths

As you move on, you will run up into two paths between rocks. They lead to the same place, but it is a good idea to explore both of them, because you will find several interesting items, this way. On the first path,
there are several soldiers and a ninja, whereas on the other, there is a fog that spawns Onyudo. After the battle, you can tip the ladder over, thanks to which you will unlock a shortcut to shrine.
watch out as you enter the building, because there is a yoki inside

After you enter the mountain, you will run into another fork. Take the left path. Along your way, you will have to watch out for a flame trap on the floor. Inside one of the caves on the left, there is a Kodama.
After you exit, head left. Along your path, you will find another fork. By going to the left, you will find some loot, whereas the right path leads to the shrine. Watch your step, while walking into the building, because
there is a yoki there.

The bridge is being watched by a raven

After you have activated shrine, climb down the stairs. You will have to cross a bridge guarded by a raven and a local, throwing firecrackers. After you have defeated the opponents, go right, where you find
a Kodama at one of the trees. Then, return to the bridge and climb down the ladder. At thend of the path, there is a building. Defeat the soldiers and enter. At the other end, you will find a hot spring.
Send the Kodama away

Climb up along the path. Defeat the soldier and the archer. In the cave, the fog will spawn a n onyudo. After you have defeated it, walk out into a mead. There is an entrance to another cave, on the left. Inside,
there is a shrine. Next to it, there also is a Kodama.

At the very top, you will fight the boss

After you have climbed the stairs, you will notice a building. Inside, there is a ninja and another Kodama next to it. After you cross the door at the end of the stone tunnel, you will fight Ishida Mitsunari.
Samurai from Sawayama | Main missions
The below chapter provides a complete walkthrough for Samurai from Sawayama. It provides solutions for the challenges that you face in the main storyline of the game. Thanks to this, you will complete the
game in the most optimal way. This mission ends in a boss battle with Obsidian Samurai.
Individual issues have been described in separate sections.
 The first container
 The second and the third container
 The last containers
The first container

Destroy Nurikabe
This mission starts by a shrine. As you follow the corridor, watch out for a yoki, who will appear from behind the corner and then, for the pressure plate that activates a trap. As you climb up the stairs on the
right, defeat yoki and then, destroy Nurikabe, which will grant you access to a room, where there isa Kodama and a shortcut.
Send the Kodama away

walk into the next room. For now, do not enter the room, where there is Amrita Devil. Instead, go right along the corridor. Make sure that your health bar is fyll. Behind the logs on the right, there is a
trapdoor, thanks to which you will drop into the basement. Here, you will find several items and a Kodama. The opponents here are skeletons and spiders. While approaching the stairs, watch out for
the skeleton with cannon. Upstairs, you will also fight devils and flamming wheel .

Destroy the container

After you return to the main level, defeat Amrita Devils and Destroy the container in the center of the room. After the fight, go straight ahead, along the corridor. On your right, you will notice chests. If you
destroy them, you will be able to access the next corridor. Watch out for the pressure plate. A yoki will appear out of the fog. After you defeat it, activate the shrine and remove the log from the door. While
approaching the fog, you could notice the stairs up. However, apaort from the two locals and a corpse, there is nothing of interest there.
The second and the third container
Destroy the container

Climb down the stairs near the most recent shrine. There is another room with a container there, guarded by an Amrita Devil. First, defeat locals not to be disturbed during the fight. Use your ranged weapon
to deal with the one at the end of the corridor. NOTE: In front of this opponent, there is a trapdoor. Do not use it just yet. After you have defeated the devil and destroyed the container, cross the door.
In the corridor, there is another devil. After killing it, go left, towards the stairs. Defeat the opponents, collect the items and unlock the shortcut in the undergrounds.

Send the Kodama away

As you go in the opposite direction, you will get into the undergrounds. At the foot of the stairs, there are a skeleton and an Amrita Devil waiting for you. After you have defeated them, go right and behind the
corner, you will find a Kodama. As you move on, you will run into four paths. The rightmost one leads to the room, where you can find a Kodama under the table and a shortcut. The next one leads to Kappa.
After you defeat it, you will obtain several interesting items. After that, go into the leftmost path, where you find a hot spring. As you follow the last path, watch out for the flaming wheel, which appears
around the corner.
Before you approach the fog, take out the skeleton on the right

After you have defeated the wheel, move on. Along your path, watch out for a pressure plate. In the cave on the left, there is a fog. Before you approach, deal with the skeleton above, to the right. After you have
defeated Onyudo, who comes out of the fog, collect the Prison Warden's Key. Thanks to it, you can now open all the doors that used to be locked, e.g. to the room in the undergrounds with the two devils and
a Kodama.

Destroy the container

After you have searched the entire location, return where you have fought onyudo. Cross all the rooms to collect loot and climb up the stairs. Watch out, because a stone ball will roll from above. To avoid it,
enter the recess in the wall. Climb to the very top to collect all the loot and cross the door by the stairs. Behind the door, there is another container guarded by an Amrita Devil and oni-bi. After you have destroyed
the container, take one of the two doors into the next room.
The last containers
Send the Kodama away

A big spider will come out from the fog. After you have defeated it, go into the next room, where you have to destroy another container. It is best to deal the guarding devil with a shot from a distance, because
in the next corridor, there also is a flaming wheel. After you have cleared the area, send away the Kodama behind the sacks.

Destroy the containers

In the room behind the grate, there are three containers to destroy and a one-eye to defeat. After you have cleared the room, you can activate another shrine. In the next room, you will have to fight two locals and
a yoki, that is still in the fog . After you defeat them, move on, where you can open a shortcut to the last shrine. After you climb down the stairs, you will find the final boss Obsidian Samurai.
The Demon King Revealed | Main missions
The below chapter provides a complete walkthrough for The Demon King Revealed. It provides solutions for the challenges that you face in the main storyline of the game. Thanks to this, you will complete the
game in the most optimal way.

Send the Kodama away

After the mission starts, do not go towards the castle yet. Instead, climb down, because you will find there a Kodama. Open the door next to the shrine. Along your path to the building, defeat the skeletons.
After you approach the fog, a demanding fight will start, against Onyudo, devil, skeleton warrior and a yoki. Fortunately, you come in a company of three, so the battle will be easier. After you have defeated
the opponents, collect the loot and return to the bridge. After opening the gate, climb down to open the shortcut. Your path will be crossed by a warrior and a one-eye coming out from the fog.
You can take a different path after you jump down onto the ledge

Cross the next door and defeat a yoki and skeletons. Next to the heap of rubble, you will find a Kodama. After you cross the building, you can jump down onto a ledge on the right and go that way. Along your
path, you will encounter two ravens. After defeating them, climb up the ladder onto the wall to find a Kodama. Jump down and defeat another group of opponents coming out from fog: ravens, onyudo, devils.
Then, head towards the next building.

The path to the palace

defeat the yoki on the roof. Inside, you will find a chest. As you go on, behind one of the walls, you will find a Kodama. Approach the fog, where a one-eye comes out from. As you move on, fell a tree, thanks to
which you will unlock a shortcut. Return to the buildings, where there is a chest with loot inside. Before the gate, there is fog, from which a raven, one-eye x2, onyudo x2 and yoki come out. After you defeat
them, take the path to the palace, behind the gate.
Inside, you will have to defeat yokai from the fog

Once you enter, you will have to defeat some opponents leaving from the fog. What makes this difficult is that you are alone now, but the fight itself became less demanding. Also, you will find Kodamas here.
One of them is on the wall that you will be able to access after you defeat yoki that comes out from fog. You have to go along the wall, on the outside and watch your step not to fall down. After you have
defeated opponents, go towards the stairs. Downstairs, there is a Kodama and some decent loot. Then, follow the markers on the map. Behind the door, you will fight bosses that you could fight earlier: Onryoki,
Nue, Yoro-Gumo and Yuki-onna.

Use the lift to get to the higher floor

After the fight, take the lift and go to the top of the palace. There, you will fight boss Oda Nobunaga, Kelley and Yamata no Orochi.

Mission level 10

Rewards  Lightning Talisman;

 Young Samurai Lock of Hair;
 Amrita - 3160
 Gold - 6700

Individual issues have been described in specific sections.

 The beginning of the mission
 The village
 The estate and mission ending
The beginning of the mission
The mission takes place in the same area that you have been exploring during Deon Island. This time, you star on the beach, near the ship where the boss battle took place. The Shrine shown in the above
screenshot is the only spot of its kind all throughout the map, so you will be returning here, in case of failure. It should be pointed out that there is no way of unlocking any shortcut to this place. You have to
complete this mission without any failure.
First of all, you should go right to explore the cave where you have earlier found a seppuku sword. This time around, you will find a Devil there, who should not be too much of a problem. Collect all the treasures
and go deeper into the camp. The door to the shrine that you have visited before the boss battle is locked now and there is no way of opening it. It is a good idea to kill all of the opponents on the beach
and collect the treasures, because you will have to come back here later on.
The village

After entering the village, you will notice that all sources of fire are gone, so the path to the further part of the village is wide and open. After crossing the gate, it is a good idea to enter the first house on the
right [1], where you will find a few useful items. If you decide to walk around the house and enter the alley on the right, watch out for a samurai there [2]. If you are careless enough, he will jump down on you.
Apart from that, the ladder of the watchtower on the right [3] is inaccessible. You can climb onto it using the watchtower on the left [4], but there is a warrior on the top.
Since the bonfire is gone, you will see the above view in front of you. It is a good idea to lure out the patrolling samurai and finish him out. The warriors [1] in the central part of the valley fight together, but before
this happens, fire the bow, or the shotgun at the head of the one on the left. If fired at a relatively short distance, the shot will kill him where he stands, which will save you some effort.
As soon as you draw attention to yourself, watch out for the archer [2] on the platform where the water barrel used to be. To eliminate him quickly, take the alley on the left [3] and reach its end. Before you
climb the ladder, you will have to deal with one more opponent on the porch to the right. At first glance, you may miss him, because he is sitting on the ground.
If you go to the right alley [4] you will encounter an opponent behind the house shown in the above screenshot. He is searching a corpse. Kill him and pick up the items. After you have eliminated all of the
opponents within sight, enter the second part of the village.
Right after you enter, you will spot a samurai [1], whom you could easily eliminate with a shot to the head. Afterwards, go into the alley on the right [2] to collect goods there. While there, you will encounter
two warriors. One of them is patrolling the area around the well, whereas the other one is staying at the back of the house. The best thing to do is walk around the house on the right, as a result of which
you will be able to jump him.
After that, walk into the alley shown in the above screenshot [3] and defeat the warriorthere. The path ahead will take you to the estate, but before that, you will have to eliminate the samurai with axe, who
is patrolling the path[4].
The estate and mission ending

The residence surroundings are not too well-guarded, which is why you can easily collect all of the items around. Remember that wooden walls of the estate are easily broken and inside, there are opponents,
so try to keep your distance from the building. It is good idea to cross the hole in the fence shown in the above screenshot, because the single samurai there is guarding some rare items.
The front side of the estate is not too well-guarded either, but in the alleys before the fence, there are several warriors. It is better to lure them out one after another, using any ranged weapon. Your task now is
to reach one of the buildings from which you have started the abovementioned main mission. It should be noted that the entire cemetery has been excluded from this mission.
Go towards the beach along the small gorge. At the same time, eliminate several opponents here. Finally, you will have reached the building shown in the above screenshot. If you have some ammo on you,
shoot the samurai shown in the above screenshot, by shooting him on the head. Inside, there are two more opponents, including the bandit commander, who is your target in this mission. He is slightly
stronger than the rest of the opponents, but he is not too much of a threat, anyways.
Kill him to complete the mission. Make sure that you do not die here, or else you will have to start the mission over. After you kill the commander, and there are still some opponents that you haven't killed
before, they will bow to you and will not be hostile.

 Kill Kappa
Notes on the mission
The mission objective is to kill one of the opponents that you encounter close to the starting point. There are several ways to complete this mission, depending on how much you want to collect amrita
and kill the rest of the enemies in the location. If you only want to complete the objective, kill the main target and search all of the chests hidden in the location. The mission takes place at the bottom
level of the cave that you have been exploring in Deep in the Shadows.
Kill Kappa

The mission objective is to kill Kappa. The opponent resembles a turtle on two legs with a golden shell. You could have seen one in previous missions. The fight with the opponent consists largely in chasing
him around. Kappa does not deal high damage in terms of health, but it can easily deprive you of your Ki points and escape to a safe distance. The worst you can do is chase him around. In majority of
cases, he will drag you straight into the opponents hiding nearby, which will quickly end up in your death.
Remember to keep an eye on the surroundings and not let yourself be dragged into an ambush. If you want to earn extra Amrita, you can ignore Kappa and deal with all of the nearby opponents in the
first place. Then, deal with your target. Either way, it is a good idea to search the entire area, which will be safe enough, after you eliminate the cowardly turtle.

 Reach the trial location

 The trial
Reach the trial location
You start the mission near the second Shrine on the map for Deep in Shadows. The path leads you in the direction opposite to that, where you went during the main mission. While leaving the safe zone, you
could find the treasure on the left. Head towards the healing spring. First, deal with the large skeleton hiding in the fog in the first cave on the right. Thanks to this, you will be able to loot a chest.
The second cave (or rather a corridor) on the right is empty. After you approach the banshee summoning portal [1], the warrior will appear without you interacting with it. Drag him towards the Shrine
and deal with him. Then, air attack the opponent with lute [2]. Thanks to this, you will avoid fighting with revenants he summons.
You can use the spring, which should make forthcoming battles easier. First, deal with the dweller who is throwing bombs at you from the ledge above. You should save some projectiles to get him down. The
next one is a devil patrolling the area. Try to remain in the center of the location and try to push the devil into the chasm. At the end of this level, you will spot a dweller, but do not kill him yet. If you attack
him, another dweller, hiding in the corridor on the right, will easily kill you. Then, head towards the upper level of the cave.

Along your path, you do not encounter any opponents, but every summoning portal activates spontaneously, as soon as you come closer. One of the banshees is waiting for you in the first chamber on the
left (from the perspective of climbing up). Also, there is a Shrine there, which will be your field base for the forthcoming trial. In the chamber with the altar, there is an opponent with mandolin. You can easily
eliminate him using a ranged weapon. To collect the items he drops, you will have to go to the cave above. Inside, you will find a large skeleton. There is no way to sneak past him, so use the advantage the first
blow gives you. Collect all the treasures and get ready for your trial.
The trial
To complete the mission, you will have to stand the trial of combat. There are several phases to it, intermittent with 2 second breaks. Each phase ends after you have defeated all the opponents in that
phase. The trial takes place in a large chamber atop the corridor. During the mission, you can use rooms such as pantry or the boss's room, but the way ahead is off limits. Another important thing is that
starting the trial blocks off the way to the shrine. If you die in any of the phases, you will have to take the trial over again.
It is a good idea to start the fights with your Living Weapon all charged up. If you have been defeated, summon the spirit, or retrieve it and use soul stones. Phase three is a perfect opportunity to use the
potential of the guardian spirit.
Phase 1: Face two skeleton warriors. It is a good tactic to use the ledge leading to the boss's room.
Phase 2: Defeat two heads spitting fire. Definitely, this one is the easiest part of the mission. It is a good idea to drag the battle on for a while to regenerate your health.
Phase 3: Defeat large skeleton and devil both at the same time. The arena and you could use it to separate the opponents from each other. The key aspect of this phase is Living Weapon. What makes
things complicated that near the door to the boss's room is a skeleton archer. Leave him for the very end, because he does not come closer and you will have time to regenerate after fighting the strong
opponents.
Phase 4: If you have not yet activated the banshee by the door to the boss's room, you will have to fight him anyways. He will be accompanied by three fire-spitting heads and large skeleton. The only upside
is that if you kill the banshee, he will not appear again.
After phase four ends, you have to enter the boss's room and kill the monk with lute there. This ends the mission. The arena will still be locked up, but it is better to search it anyways.

Mission objectives
In this mission, you travel back to the location where you have started your adventure in Japan. The locations available in this mission are: the surroundings of the ship, the cave and the entire area of
the burned village. Your objective is to get rid of the Monks patrolling the entire village.
If this is your first encounter with burning wheels, you have to know that they perform an unmarked attack and they ram into you. While at short range, it is better to block at all times.
Before you start the mission, search the vicinities of the ship and of the cave. There, you will find a dweller and a devil, but they should not pose too much of a challenge at this stage. Also, visit the Shrine in
the harbor.
The first monk
The path leads in the same direction as in the main mission. You encounter the first monk right at the first burning households. You can take any alley free of flames, or head towards the estate and reach the
location over rooftops. In one of the alleys, you encounter a dweller, and a dweller and a skeleton in another one. Eliminate the opponents and face the Monk.
It is always a good idea to start a fight with your Living Weapon charged up. This makes battles with those slightly unpredictable opponents much easier.
After the battle, you will have to walk out to a small yard. There, you will find a dweller. Defeat him, climb up the ladder and enter the are cut off by flames over rooftops.
The second monk
Just like in the main mission, the rooftop of one of the houses is damaged. Get around the hole and reach house with a ladder. Instead of climbing up the ladder, jump down into the alley. This way, you
will have avoided opponents in this area.
This time around, you will find a Shrine here. Using it will make the mission much easier. Finally, take the alley to reach the house at the end. After you climb up, you will be attacked by a devil from the right.
The Monk is patrolling the nearby area, so as soon as you lure the devil away, drag the Monk inside. Fighting against the devil and the Monk at the same time may be too demanding.
During the fight with the Monk, try not to move too far into the area that you have not yet explored. There are many dwellers there.
The third monk
Finally, you will have to climb onto the tower and walk over the rooftops to the second part of the village. The path is blocked off by devil Yoki. Wait for him to walk away, to the nearest rooftop and reach
the house by the fence. Kick the ladder, just like during the main mission.
The Monk is patrolling a yard, near which the is a barrel with water. You can throw it down to unlock a shortcut. Defeat the devil and then, eliminate the skeleton, lurking on one of the rooftops. As soon as you
do that, you can face the Monk.
It is important for you not to leave the mission area after you kill the last Monk. You can then walk safely over to the area cut off by flames and collect all treasures. Do not worry about the flames,
they will not damage you.

Mission's goals
The mission's goal is to search the chests in the location. In one of the chests there is a treasure that will serve as a gift. Even if you find it in the first point with the chests, you still should search
others and get the treasures. Additionally, finding the gift makes all of the enemies disappear from the map. The location of the gift is random which is the main difficulty determinant.
Also, this is a training mission where you have to fight along with a NPC, the mission itself teaches you about the profits from playing in co-operation. Your companion deals a lot of damage and can
endure a lot but you should not leave her surrounded by enemies. Although she won't die, you have to interact with her in order to get her back into action.
Mission's course
In the location you find three buildings. From each one of them you can go to the underground location or to get there straight from the Shrine. You should start searching the chests in the building that is
the closest to the Shrine. Although the mission's goal is trivial, in this area there are a lot of strong enemies that are placed close to each other. But luckily for you, you can use your ally's help which makes this
quest easier.
What is more, most of the enemies respawns with your death and the only Shrine is located in the starting point of the mission. The quest itself is not that difficult because of the ally. Also, there is a good
chance that you can find the required item in one of the houses which allows you to finish this quest very quickly.

It should be noted that in one of the houses you can be caught in a trap - the floor under you collapses and you fall to the underground area. In this you can also find the chest in which Mujina hides. If you
didn't fight with it before then you must know that it copies your character and you must fight with it or repeat the gestures that it uses.
Besides that, there is nothing out of ordinary in this mission. Also, note that for this mission you get 12,000 Gold and this mission can be done over and over again. If you are fast enough, you can avoid
the enemies and quickly check the chests. It is the fastest way to get Gold in NiOh.

This mission takes you to a small arena where you have to face various Yokai. Before you start the quest you can face a few Revenants that has died during this mission. The fact that this mission is a combat
trial means that there should be a lot of summoning signs.
It is important to have a charged Living Weapon and use it when in need. Below, you can find information about the enemies that you must defeat in particular stages. The important fact is that the
breaks between the stages are so small that you won't even notice when the happen. In practice, this means that you have to fight for a few minutes.
Stage 1: In this stage you must defeat a single dweller. He is not different than the other ones.
Stage 2: You must face a dweller again. What is interesting is that when you approach the water then, during stage 2, the third stage will begin.
Stage 3: Two dwellers and Oni-Bi. Remember that low stance is the best for dwellers. When you use it you are sure that most of your attacks will hit the target.
Stage 4: Giant dweller. Greater variety of attacks and bigger damage. It can spit poison at a distance which means that it doesn't even have to jump at you to inflict poison.
Stage 5: Oni-Bi and two Yoki. Use the monument in the arena to provoke 1 vs. 1 fights. First, defeat Oni-Bi because its projectiles are very irritating.
Stage 6: Two Oni-Bi, One-Eyed Oni and One-Eyed Imp. Try to ignore the Imp so he won't turn into the giant one. Avoid One-Eyed Oni's attacks and eliminate both Oni-Bi. Then, eliminate Oni and deal with
the Imp as the last enemy unless you can defeat him in one combo. It is important to not use a single attack on him because this can trigger his transformation. If you previously tried to use the
monument then you should know that One-Eyed Oni can destroy it with one swing.
With the end of the final stage, the mission is completed. You can go back here at any moment to get some Amrita.

Mission objective
In this mission you will once again visit the area from The Silver Mine Writhes. This time you will only explore the area from the last Shrine to the boss arena which in this case is filled with regular
opponents.
In the mentioned place you will find an opponent whom you haven't had an opportunity to meet before. He is presented on the above picture. There two opponents like that in the whole mission, but you will
finish the mission once you defeat the one stationed in the area where you fought the centipede.
The course of the mission
Similarly as in the main mission, your first objective is to unlock the shortcut to the area where you previously fought the boss. The setting of ladders and scaffoldings is same as before. The only difference
is that now you will encounter stronger opponents. You should search all corridors, there are many treasures hidden there.
After unlocking the shortcut the mission becomes much easier, so don't forget about that. Further part of the mission depends only on you. First you must use the machine that will disable the poisonous
fog. Then jump down and destroy the two objects that generate the poison.
You can search through all the areas and neutralize the opponents hidden there or you can get close to the fog on the right (looking from the entrance to the arena) on the lower level. The giant from the
previous picture is hidden there. Eliminate him with the elements and the guardian spirit. Once he dies, collect the items he drops. This will enable you to immediately finish the mission.
The mission is well paid and you can greatly increase your gold resources with a bit of effort. However, remember that with each attempt you must unlock the shortcut anew.

Mission objective
In this side mission you return to the previously explored location. Your task is to kill the three Onyudo, giant Yokais with a long tongue. In case of each of them you can expect attacks based on a selected
element. What's more, each of them is accompanied by two demonic heads enchanted with the same element as the large opponent.
During the mission you can find four Kodama spirits and send them to the Shrine. While the mission itself is a side one, you must complete it in order to unlock maximum bonuses for each of the blessings.
The course of the mission
The order in which you kill the targets doesn't matter. What's important is that you will have to face opponents that are much stronger than the ones you encountered before and that the mission will end only
once you kill each of them.
Each demon is hidden in the fog. You must kill him only once and after each of them you can regenerate at the Shrine without losing progress. One of the enemies can be found in the nearby house
below, the second one is in the first house above and the third one is in the hall in the underground corridor.
The most important thing is to lure the largest demon away from his companions once you start the battle. The demonic heads are slow while the targets are very fast. This makes the mission easier. In
addition to that, you will find many enemies in the location. You can use them to charge your Living Weapon. Take advantage of that.
Kodama spirits
1. The secret passage with the Nurikabe on the highest floor of the underground
When you will stand at the gate at the top of the location, enter the underground. Jump or walk down the two ladders and turn right. You will quickly notice eyes looking at you. Defeat the opponent and summon
the spirit hidden behind the wall.
2. The roof of the middle building

Another Kodama is hidden on the roof of the middle building. You can get there from the floor with the gate that leads to the underground from the upper floor of the location.
3. Rock ledge at the bridge entrance
4. Rock ledge ahead from the starting point of the mission

The last Kodama is hidden on the rock ledge that isn't well visible despite the fact that it is located at the beginning of the location. You can reach it by using the path that starts at the middle building.

 The course of the mission
Mission objective
In this quest, you have to defeat a group of enemies that are located on a bridge which takes majority of the space of this location. In each of the four segments, you will have to face enemies that come in
waves. This is similar to what you could have experienced in the previous side missions.
You must pay extra attention to holes in the bridge because they can end a fight in an instant. Another important information is that you move in a very restricted space during the fights. If you manage to secure
a certain part of the bridge then you don't have to fight with the same monsters again, even after dying. This makes this mission much easier.
After completing all goals of this missions, you can search the chests that are located on the other side of the bridge.
The course of the mission
Below, you can find a list of demons that you must defeat on particular parts of the bridge.
Section 1
Phase 1: Yoki, supported by a skeleton with a bow. If you don't feel the timing of how fast an archer shoots then you should eliminate him first. Otherwise, you can focus on Yoki.
Phase 2: Giant skeleton and Oni-Bi. The skeleton has a very long reach but if you manage to dodge him, you should defeat Oni-Bi first. They will also enchant your weapon with wind.
Section 2
Phase 1: Two Lesser Umi-Bozu. Everything that deals fire damage will be useful here.
Phase 2: Amrita Fiend. His attacks are enchanted with power of wind.
Section 3
Phase 1: Wheelmonk. Try to keep a medium distance after each attack, otherwise, he will quickly push you into one of the holes in the bridge.
Phase 2: Oni-Bi and Onyudo. Eliminate Oni-Bi first. After that, the fight will be much easier.
Section 4
You should run to the area close to the end of the map, do it before the demons appear. Thanks to that you gain a lot of space for dodges and you will lower your chance of falling into water.
Phase 1: Giant and small skeleton. Watch out for spear thrusts performed by the smaller skeleton because they can easily throw you off balance.
Phase 2: Skeleton + Oni-Bi + Amrita Fiend. Start with eliminating the enemy that is the most vulnerable. If your Guardian Spirit bar is full then you can use your Living Weapon.
Phase 3: One-Eyed Oni. You only need to use dodges and perform accurate attacks. The enemy has no special abilities.

 Mission objective
 The course of the mission
Mission objective
In this mission, you must defeat a group of enemies on the arena on which you fought with Umibozu. In order to complete this mission, you must eliminate all enemies. During it you can also explore areas
connected to the second and the third Shrine from the mission called The Ocean Roars Again.
The course of the mission
The first thing that you should do is to fully explore the area of this mission. Thanks to that you can light up the second and the third lantern from a main mission. Similarly, to that quest, you can set on
fire the stacks that are located on the arena. Thanks to that, you will be able to enchant your weapon with fire element.
You should also collect all hidden treasures although you won't find anything that would help you in this mission.
Both Shrines are connected to the arena by similar paths. It should be noted that when the first enemy from the first wave appears, you won't be able to leave the area until you complete the mission.
Below, you can find tips for all final fights of each wave:
Phase 1: Two Lesser Umi-Bozu and Yoki. You should quickly approach one of the stacks and set your weapon on fire. Lesser Umi-Bozu are always first so run to them quickly and eliminate.
Phase 2: Similarly, to the previous wave, two Lesser Umi-Bozu appear first. If the fire on your weapon disappeared then you can approach another stack before you start this phase. Eliminate the slugs as fast
as you can and be ready to face One-Eyed Oni.
Phase 3: You must face a Raven Tengu. The enemy has a very long reach and is one of the strongest enemies out of all regular ones. Use your petards and bombs. However, the most important thing is to
enchant your weapon with an element. When you are choosing your equipment, you should pay attention to reduction of wind damage - this stat is very important when you face this enemy.

 Clear the beach

 The ships
 The cave and ending the mission
Clear the beach
The first thing that you should do after starting this mission is to go to the Shrine. You can notice a few warriors near that place. While you are fighting with them, you must watch out for cannons from the
ship nearby. The fight with the warriors shouldn't be a big challenge to you.

Jump into water before you move forward. Behind the last ship, on the right, you can find a Kodama. Send the creature to the Shrine and go along the rocks.
While you are on your way, you can come across a few warriors. You reach a cave. If you have any of the petards, you can throw them at warriors in the cave. With a bit of a luck, you can detonate barrels with
powder. This will allow you to avoid a few duels. Collect all treasures and get on the first ship.
The ships
Clear the lower deck of the first ship and enter the upper level. The warriors, that gathered next to the cannons, can be eliminated with a rifle. There aren't many enemies on the upper deck and most of
them gathered near the cannons. You should enter the rooms on the upper level and reach the highest point by using the ladder. There is a treasure chest there. It is guarded by a single samurai and the only
difficulty is that you fight in a small room.

In the middle room you can find damaged floor. When you stand on it, you will fall into a closed room with a giant skeleton. There, you can also find a chest and Kodama.

After that you must go on the ships that you saw near the Shrine. A rifleman can be found near the mast of the first one. Kill him from a distance and climb on a platform on which he stood. At one of
its ends you can find a Kodama. Going to the other end allows you to jump on a neighbor ship.
At first, it may seem abandoned but you will be quickly attacked by a Flying Boltaccompanied by a few Oni-Bi. The enemy, called Flying Bolt, is your biggest problem. Mainly because it can cast an effect
that slows you down. Defeat the enemies and jump into water near the Shrine. Go back to the first ship and from there, you must head to the opposite direction.
The cave and ending the mission
After going through the first ship you reach a shipwreck. In the center of it you can notice mist behind which there is a giant skeleton. Lure him out from that place near the first ship and finish there because
fighting him inside of the shipwreck is more difficult because of holes in the floor. Then, you must enter the cave by using a wooden footbridge. On the left, there is one skeleton but besides him there are
no other enemies inside of the cave.

Be sure that you collected all treasures and summoned three Kodama to the Shrine. If you did that, you can now go through the red door and pick up the item the lies in front of you on the ground. You will
be attacked by two ninjas. When you defeat them, you will be immediately attacked by a Yoki. Defeat the enemy and finish the mission.

The objective of the mission is to determine the source of the mysterious cries that can be heard at the cemetery. The mission is quite simple as the strongest enemies you will face are yoki. You will also
encounter many Oni-bis.
The last battle, with the demon that is the source of the cries, isn't hard as well. You will face a Flying Bolt. The only challenge in this battle is a group of Oni-Bi appearing on the arena. You should lure
them away and defeat them away from the main opponent. You should also thoroughly search the whole location - you can find some interesting items.

simple - you only need to be patient. The opponent has many health points and you will need to hit him many times in order to finish him. The attacks he can use include an axe hit and jump, regular
axe swings, hitting the ground and an arrow shot. All of them can be blocked or dodged - you should attack after dodging or blocking and then walk away to safe distance and repeat it. Halfway through the
fight two Oni-bi will appear on the arena. You must quickly kill them so that they don't interrupt you. Additionally, defeating them fills your weapon with the power of the element.

This mission takes place on three areas located next to each other. Your objective is to defeat specific sets of yokai. Before the battle you should make sure that the living weapon is loaded - it might
be very useful here. If you have proper state of onmyo magic, you should also invest into sloth talisman - it will effectively slow down your opponents for some time.
Below you will find a description of opponents you will face in specific waves. If you die, you don't have to repeat the battle with all opponents you defeated so far.
Wave 1 - you will be attacked by a yoki and by four Oni-bi ghosts. In first order defeat the ghosts and then focus on the yoki.
Wave 2 - a single yoki with two swords. He is similar to other opponents of this type you faced before. The battle is simple because you face only one enemy.
Wave 3 - a regular yoki and amrita fiend. The battle is quite hard because you face two strong enemies simultaneously. The living weapon and the sloth talisman will be useful.
Wave 4 - two Wheelmonks. A hard battle because the enemies are fast and they deal great damage. It is best to first focus the attacks on one enemy and kill him before you take down the second one.
Wave 5 - The last wave. You will face a few Oni-bis and your old friend Onryoki. The battle with the latter is same as in one of the first missions. Detailed description can be found in the boss fights

In this mission you must defeat the evil in the castle. At the beginning you will face a powerful warrior revenant equipped with a spear. He is a hard opponent because he has many health points. This
causes the battle to be quite long. Additionally, he can deal large amount of damage if you fail to block his attacks.
Once you defeat him, go through the only available road to the cliff where you will face a skeleton warrior with an axe, a spider and a warrior revenant - also with an axe. You encountered his bigger version
in the mission The Battle of Ohashi Bridge.
Another enemy in the fog is the regular version of one-eyed. Once you defeat him, you can explore the location in search for loot. Go back to the place where you fought the first battle and pass
through the newly-opened door.
Here you will face skeletons, spiders and flying bolts hidden in the fog. Once you defeat them, search the room and go to the right. There open the gate to the gardens. Destroy the wall of the building and

enma. The description of this battle has been provided in the chapter entitled Bosses.

In this mission, your task is to defeat Shimazu troops escaping from Sekigahara. Here, you fight against humans. However, it is a good idea to adopt a tactic and get as much ammo for your ranged weapon as
you can, before the mission. It is a good tactic to take out some opponents, not to have to fight several soldiers at the same time, which might prove to be quite an ordeal. The location itself consists of several
partsm but there are no greater surprises here.

Derrick the Executioner | NiOh Boss Encounters

This chapter contains numerous advice on how to defeat your enemy.

You’ll be facing Derrick on top of the London Tower

 Before the fight

 Stage 1
 Stage 2
Before the fight
1. Make sure to have a medicine supply before you face the boss. This level sees multiple medicine rewards through spectacular finishing moves. However, don’t use them during combat with smaller
enemies. If your health is low, return to a Shrine and replenish your health.
2. The area before the boss is guarded by heavily armored knights. Try to lure them one by one, and finish up using a spear, which has greater range than their weapons. Their corpses are a source of heavy
armor, which can then be equipped to give your hero additional defense against the boss attacks. Remember that heavy armor eats much more stamina during dodges, so customize your set according to your
needs.
3. Take notice of your attack modifier. Before you begin the fight, choose the weapon that has the highest attack value. Each type of weapon has its separate stat, influencing the damage dealt. If you
haven’t reached the complete proficiency yet, spend some time fighting the guards to increase your skill in the given weapon.
Stage 1
The first stage of the encounter is similar to a fight with a smaller enemy, but Derrick is much faster, while his attack deal more damage and have a larger range. Keep your distance and avoid approaching
him when he keeps his guard, and constantly watch his stamina bar and wait until he drops his guard.
During this stage, Derek is very resistible against physical attacks. If you’ve managed to make him soak a combination, you’ll quickly lower his health points. When that happens, you’ll see a cutscene
in which your enemy mutates. This marks the beginning of the next stage.
Stage 2
The most important aspect of the second stage is staying close to your opponent. If you pull back, the enemy will perform a characteristic charge with his axe to the ground. You can avoid it easily
by making a dodge to the right, or just get off its course if you’ve managed to see the action beforehand. Also, avoid staying in the melee distance for longer periods of time.
The boss rests 1-2 seconds after each charge – attack him during that period. However, remember to quickly evade and stay out of the melee range after each strike, as Derrick will make a flurry
that is lethal to you if you soak every strike.Remember that you can parry when moving back. Such move is very costly when it comes to stamina, but it will allow you to survive the assault.
Once you perform a few successful hits, the Living Weapon mode will become active. Once it’s activated, you’ll see a short cutscene marking the end of the battle, and the mission will end. You
can also defeat the boss in the classic way, but the outcome will be the same. The Living Weapon mode is activated by pressing Triangle and Circle simultaneously.

Onryoki | NiOh Boss Encounters

The chapter below presents a number of hints that will prove useful while fighting this opponent.
The battle takes place below the deck of a merchant ship.

 Before the battle

 The battle - Stage 1
 The battle - Stage 2
Before the battle
The boss battle starts as soon as you come close to the ship. After a short cutscene, you will be transferred to the ship's deck, where you will have to fight this demon.
Before this happens, however, it is a good idea to ensure several things.
1. If you have any skillpoints connected with magic left, it is a good idea to invest them in talismans that will allow you to enchant your weapon with an elemental force. After you have unlocked the
skill, use the Jutsu section in Shrine and create a shortcut to the talisman.
2. Search for all the Kodama spirits in the area, which you will leave after you win the boss battle. After you have collected all 5 of them, your number of reviving potions will increase, which may be
especially important during the battle. It is also a good idea to spend your gold on blessing your potions, after which you will eliminate nearby opponents. If you are lucky, you will have several extra vials of healing
items at the beginning of the battle.
3. Spend all Amrita that you have earned and level up your character, in accordance with your playing style. You can also farm several additional levels if you feel that damage you deal does not guarantee
positive outcome of the battle.
4. Make sure that you have examined your weapon to the maximum extent. If you have not filled your weapon familiarity bar, it is a good idea to do that on nearby opponents. Also, find out if you have any
weapons on you with higher damage multiplier. If so, it is a good idea to use it.
The battle - Stage 1
Onryoki is a unique opponent; he can be very slow only to surprise you with a sudden attack after a while. For the purposes of this battle, it is better to pick a heavier, double-handed weapon that will allow
you to land 1-2 blows into the opponent's back, while not using up too much Ki for you to dash or block. The best thing to do is enchant an element into the weapon. This does not take long and each
additional damage point you deal brings you closer to the second phase of the battle.
In the first phase, Onryoki performs two attacks:
1. With you facing him, he will take an overhead swing and slam the ground with the ball attached to his limb. After a while, he will perform the same action with the other limb. If the first attack deals
damage to you, most probably you will also take damage from the second one, as the first one will knock you down.
After his first swing, it is best to approach his belly. He always performs his first swing with the left hand (your right). If you have been keeping your distance, dash up centrally and slightly to the left. If you
are close to his trunk, chances that you will take damage are very low. At the same time, you should jump over behind his back, land 1-2 blows and start blocking, while walking slowly back (using analog sticks).
If you are still high on KI, you can dash back.
2. The above is important. While you are behind the boss's back, he will take a second before he turns around to face you. At this point, the balls attached to his hands go in a swing. One of the balls
goes in a wider, and the other one a narrower arch.
 If you do not get away in time, you will get yourself within the radius of the narrow swing which will knock you down, whereas the other ball will kill you.
 If you do get away, and get within the radius of the wider arch, you will be knocked down, but alive (provided you have enough health).
 If you block the first ball with your weapon, you will be knocked back to the orbit of the second ball. At this point, you will have insufficient Ki to perform a block and you will lose a half of your full health.
 If you get away to the orbit of the second ball and block it, you will be knocked back. At that point, get away into medium distance and wait for your Ki to regenerate.
It should be pointed out that the second ball (i.e. the one that goes over the wider arch), remains in the air for a moment, after the swing. Then, it drops to the ground. If you happen to be standing in
that spot, you will probably die.
The first stage lasts until you bring the violet bar under the opponent's health bar down. At that point Onryoki's chains break and he starts using different attacks.
The battle - Stage 2
After Onryoki's chains break, he will start moving much faster. At this point, he will start implementing one of the two tactics: he will either try to shorten the distance to deal damage, or he will be hurling
the balls at you. In this stage, the opponent will be opening portals to Yokai Realm. Situations at which this may happen have been provided below, but keep in mind that there can only be 2 portals opened
at the same time. As soon as another one appears, one of the opened ones will disappear.
1. When you are at a considerable distance from the opponent, he will approach the balls. You can perform a quick ranged attack at this point, but be careful because the boss will quickly hurl the ball at you,
after he grabs it. The ball's hitbox seems to be a bit wider on the left, which makes it easier to evade to the right. Still, the differences are miniscule. Remember to dodge at the moment at which
Onryoki takes a swing, and you will always succeed. As soon as you spot him heading for the balls, stand in the spot that will not block your dodge and, what's most important, do not stand near
the ship's wall. Onryoki will hurl both of the balls at you and head for short range, in an attempt to get the balls again.
2. While at close range, the boss's attack can be unpredictable, so keep your eyes on him.
 While you stand in one spot, Onryoki will jump at you with an overhead attack with clasped hands. The spot in which he drops to the ground will be branded with Yokai Realm.
 While you are moving around, he may perform a series of strange swings with his hands and drop onto the spot that you are standing in. After the drop, the spot will be branded as Yokai Realm.
 He can perform a ground slam with his right fist, in the spot he is standing in.
 He can perform a swing with his right hand.
At this stage, it is easy to hit him on the back, if only you dodge the blow. However, the opponent may perform a swift, unmarked left-hand blow behind the back, which may be lethal.
The boss will keep repeating the same set of attacks until he is killed. It is a good idea to use shurikens, gunpowder bombs and enchantment of the weapon with fire. Also, it is a good idea to start the
battle with your Living Weapon all charged up and use the skill when you are cornered.
Finally, the opponent will fall to the ground. Collect the items that he drops and cross the portal to continue the campaign.

Hino-enma | NiOh Boss Encounters

This chapter provides a number of hints that will help you defeat the opponent.
The battle takes place in a huge stone groove.

 Before the battle

 The fight
Before the battle
The opponent that you are to fight here uses dynamic attacks, but also wields magic.
The entire battle is based on hit-and-run tactics. For this reason, it is recommended that you choose a weapon of relatively long range and high damage, which does not use up too much Ki at the
same time. An important factor here is the speed to actual damage ratio. For this reason, it is better not to use hammers and axes, because these are slow and it is easy to expose yourself to counterattack.
My weapons of choice are spear and two-handed sword, but all depends on your playing style. I picked the spear, because you can deal damage to the boss with standard blows, even during his dodges. It
should be added that strong attack (thrust) is also highly useful, although marked. Therefore, you can use it effectively only when Hino-enma is performing her combo. The spear has a longer range, thanks to
which you can deal damage without walking entirely into the radius of Yokai Realm.
Hino-enma opens up to three Yokai Realm portals. With each new one, an existing one is closed.
1. It is a good idea to get any firecrackers. They can disturb the boss's rhythm while she is charging at you. If you are cornered, this can get you some time to drink a potion. The dweller on the ledge by the
bonfire often throws out 3 firecrackers.
2. Collect all Kodamas, which will give you additional elixirs. Whereabouts of all the spirits have been provided in the walkthrough in the specific chapter.
3. Pick a specific weapon and max out on its weapon familiarity level. You can use a whetstone if you want to speed it up.
4. If possible, put on a relatively lightweight armor. What matters for your success in this battle is the dynamics of your movements, and heavy armor may slow you down.
5. While deciding on what to wear, pay attention to resistance to paralysis. Most probably, you will be unable to dodge from all of the paralyzing projectiles and additional resistance will restrict damage you
take and will shorten your paralysis.
The fight
At the very beginning, Hino-enma always dives towards your current position. It is a good idea to dodge in any direction, because the attack deals considerable damage and your Ki dwindles within a fraction of
second. The boss has a wider array of attacks than the previous ones, but majority of them are marked beforehand.
The battle could be divided into two stages, but the difference between the two is so negligible that it is better to treat the battle as a whole. The only difference is the fact that after losing a half of her health,
Hino-enma starts flying above you to gain advantage.
Below, you will find a list of attacks that Hino-enma can use against you:
Magic
The boss will make a characteristic roar and fire a paralyzing projectile at you, which deals lots of damage. If the distance between you and her is considerable, she can use the attack several times. The
important thing is to stay away from the wall and dodge at the right moment. As soon as you hear the roar, wait for half a second and dodge in any direction.
Hino-enma attacks in the same way while airborne. The pattern is the same and the only difference is that you cannot get close to the opponent. The attack is especially dangerous when the boss is
at a short range. She can then easily finish you out in a single special attack.
Airborne attacks
1. Diving - for a fraction of second, Hino-enma prepares the attack and dives at you. If you do not dodge, you will be knocked out of balance and will take considerable damage. After you succeed with the dodge,
you can easily land two quick blows on the opponent, because the failed attack knocks her out of balance.
2. Spike throw - this attack is very dangerous, because it remains, practically, unmarked. If the boss is airborne, takes a swing, but does not roar, it is highly probable that she will throw spikes at you. They deal
little damage, but she throws them twice. If both connect, you will be in trouble. You should always make sure that your health bar is full. After you take damage from this attack, while considerably weakened,
you will die, because the attack is nearly impossible to dodge or block.
Short-range attacks
1. Spins - the boss kicks and spins several times. A Yokai Realm appears in the spot of the combo. The attack is marked, but there is little point in blocking it, because this will drive your Ki down quickly. It is
best to dash away at the beginning of the combo and land a blow without walking onto Yokai.
2. Triple kick- the boss dashes up to you and lands kicks. Two of them are horizontal and the last one is vertical. It is easy to dodge this attack and counter it.
3. Umbrella attack - a combo of three strikes within short range. Very rarely, the boss uses the attacks intertwined with kicks. If, after a different combo, she spins silently, this means that she is reaching out for
her umbrella.
4. Life drain (special attack) - the boss takes a small step back and leans forward, throwing her arms forward. If you are within range, Hino-enma will grab you and bite you on the neck. The attack damages
you for 400-600 HP, after which you slump to the ground. It is a good idea to mash dodge button when this happens, because thanks to this, you will get up sooner. The attack is barely marked, but the range is
short, so you are most likely to take the blow while paralyzed.
The key issue in this battle is to maintain medium range, which will lend you enough time to react. If you try and increase the distance, you will soon receive a hit from paralyzing projectile, the boss will
dive at you and kill you. Watch the opponent closely, do not extend successful exchanges for too long and you are sure to win.

Tachibana Muneshige | NiOh Boss Encounters

In the chapter below you can find a few useful tips that can make the boss fight easier. This chapter contains descriptions for both mandatory and side quest fights with that enemy.
Each topic is discussed in a separate section.
Mission: The Spirit Stone Slumbers
In this section you can find tips for the first fight with that boss.
It should be noted that in this mission, the fight is rather symbolic because the boss is not fighting with full strength. He uses a limited amount of attacks and is very vulnerable to physical attacks. You
shouldn't have much problems with defeating him even during your first try. You only have to observe him very closely and treat him like a normal enemy.
The columns, that you can find in the center of the arena, play an important role during this fight. They allow you to hide before enemy's attacks, which in turn, lets you enchant your weapon, use
an elixir or regenerate Ki. The boss in unable to destroy those columns and going around them takes him some time.
Before the fight
Should bring with you some Horuko-damas, Moment talismans and amulets that allow you to enchant your weapon with elements. Most of enemy's attacks are based on his sword. His special attacks
are hard to block or dodge so you should equip spear which gives you a greater reach than his normal attacks.
Because in this fight you don't face a demon from Yokai Realm you should use Yokai Water Pots to weaken his Ki regeneration. He doesn't use his Ki Pulse very often so there is a chance that you will be
able to weaken and finish him quickly. The Living Weapon bar is also something that you should remember.
The fight
The fight takes place in one of the catacomb's chambers. As I've mentioned earlier, there are two columns in the arena that you can use to get the upper hand, for example, creating a Yokai Realm portal between
them and lure the boss there.
Most of the combinations, that the boss uses, are not that different from what your protagonist can learn. Because of that, it is important to observe his stances and react accordingly. The boss is
not resistant to any of the elements so you can choose the one that you want. Control the Ki and dodge his attacks. When the boss is a little bit tired you can easily stun him and hit with strong
attack.
Besides the basic attacks, this boss has some special attacks, although he uses them rarely.
1. Using the bow - when his Ki is less than half, Tachibana Muneshige will use the bow to damage you and slow you down. By doing that, he gives himself the time to regenerate Ki. This attack is only used
when he is in medium range. If you can, try to jump forward. You probably won't avoid the arrows but the distance between you and him will get shorter, forcing Muneshige to change his tactic. The
maximum number of shots with a single use is 2.
2. Charge - Muneshige draws a circle with his sword and sheathes it. After that, he charges at you and uses a quick-draw attack. It is very hard to dodge. However, it is possible - you have to dodge to the
right just before he reaches you, which requires a lot of skill. Stay close to the columns and when you notice that he draws a circle with his sword, hide behind the column. Muneshige does the
charge at you but he will hit the column. After that, he is fatigued which gives you a perfect chance for a counterattack.
3. Quick-draw attack - an attack similar to the one above but here you can only see that he sheathes the sword and runs at you. The difference here is that in the previous attack, during its final stage, he
makes a huge leap but now he only runs towards you. You can use columns to defend yourself or make a dodge during the last stage of his combination.
4. Heart grab - the boss lifts his right hand. After that, the hand glows red. This attack has a short distance and, in default, it hits the hero's chest. But this attack is signaled long before it is used. You should
not block it but rather jump back twice.
Remember that dodging enemy's attacks is a good way to get him tired, the same goes for overwhelming him by using attacks in low stance. If a situation really calls for it, you can use Moment talisman
to get a support of a Guardian Spirit. React accordingly to your enemy's basic attacks by using fitting stances so your guard won't get broken.
Mission: Invitation from the Warrior of the West
In this section you will find advice related to the second encounter with the mentioned boss. While the first fight with him is mandatory, the second can be ignored if you don't intend to complete every plot in the
game.
Like in the first fight, during the second encounter you can use your surroundings to obtain great advantage. More specifically, you can use the large rock located to the left from the starting point of the
mission. The distance between the rock and the end of the arena is very small. Thanks to that you can effectively use Yokai Water Pots in this area. Remember that the boss is a human, so the Yokai
Realm works against him in same way as it works on you. If you weaken his Ki, you can easily defeat him with a few finishers.
The stone is also effective in avoiding the spirit guardian frequently summoned by the boss. The stone will also enable you to avoid most of the strongest and signalized attacks of the opponents. It will
also provide you with a moment to regenerate Ki, health or to enchant the weapon with elements.
Shooting the opponent's head is a good way to reduce his health before the battle starts. After an accurate shot the opponent will fall, enabling you to run towards him and hit him with a finisher. If
due to a large number of attempts you use all bullets, then activate any other mission, gather ammunition and leave the mission by using the Himorogi Fragment.
Before the battle
You must definitely equip armors with high defense multiplier and highest possible resistance to lightning. The boss enchants his weapon with the element and his spirit puts you under a lightning
effect. You should select equipment that won't burden you more than to the medium level. The boss is quite fast. Because of that, slow movements can quickly eliminate you.
As mentioned before, you should prepare many bullets that will be useful for initiating the combat. In my case spear was the best weapon as it has greater range than the sword, but this choice should
depend on your play style.
The fight
All attacks you faced during the previous encounter will be repeated in this one. Instead of copying their description, I will focus on ruses which the boss hadn't used before. I won't focus on all basic sword-
based attacks.
Guardian spirit summoning - the boss summons his guardian spirits who hits you with lightning and takes your Ki after a few seconds. If the boss hits you, he will leave an aura around you which makes lightning
damage you receive greater. You can avoid the attack by dashing to the side when the spirit will fly at you.
Lightning hit - the boss will raise his sword above his right arm. After a moment it will be enchanted with lightning and will swing his sword horizontally. The hit has short range and all you need to do is jump
backwards to avoid it.
Three hits from the sheath - the boss draws a sign with his sword and he hides it. Then he runs at you and then he pulls out his sword with a series of three attacks. You must dodge it as blocking can consume
your whole Ki.
Even when you aren't using the protection of the stone, the most important thing is that you mustn't stand with your back facing the edge of the arena. Some attacks are easier to dodge by retreating
from their range. If you won't have where to retreat, you will quickly receive a few stronger hits that will greatly reduce the number of your elixirs.

Great Centipede | NiOh Boss Encounters

In this chapter you will find useful advice that will make the battle much easier.

Details can be found in separate sections.

Before the battle
This opponent is rather easy to defeat. However, you must notice one limitation related to this battle. If you lock the camera on the opponent, it will remain focused on his head which during most of the fight is
unavailable for you or attacking it is very dangerous. You should make a habit of positioning yourself in such way that you will be able to hit opponent's abdomen. One of the important things related
to that is using the medium stance which will enable you to hit everything in 180 degrees around the camera position.
The opponent is very slow and his attacks are easily predictable if you learn to control the camera during this fight. Additionally, the arena is very large and you can take advantage of that. However, keep in
mind that despite the fact that the opponent attacks very slowly, he has similar movement speed as you. Because of that, you can't escape too far from him.
Before the fight you should equip some decent armor and take the maximum number of antidotes. You will find a few of them on the battlefield if you require additional resources.
The fight
Try reaching the back segment of opponent's body once the battle fight and destroy the pieces you manage to reach. What's important, the health bar of the boss is related only to four segments counting
from the head. The rest is a separate entity.
You shouldn't have trouble with destroying a few segments, but you must know that it is related to a kind of trap. After destroying the segments at the end the creature will stick only to a few front segments
mentioned earlier. The remaining ones will escape on their own, but one of them will stay and start generating the poisonous fog. If you won't find and destroy it quickly, the arena will quickly become
filled with poison.
Don't run the escaping parts of the centipede, but focus on finding the piece that stayed. After reducing the length of his body, the boss will become much faster, but his attacks will remain slow. At least
the ones performed when his head is close to the ground. Observe the behavior of the boss and frequently attack him from behind.
The opponent will leave the battlefield once you reduce large piece of his health bar. Following him is pointless. Instead of that, you should regenerate your health or enchant your weapon while he isn't
nearby. After a while he will return will all his surviving segments attached back to him. You can finish him immediately or destroy all the segments once again. Opponent's attacks are easy to predict
and if you quickly destroy the piece of the boss that creates the poison, he shouldn't threaten you.

Umibozu | Boss battle

In this chapter you can find numerous advices that can make the boss fight easier.
 Before the fight
 The Fight - Stage 1
 The Fight - Stage 2
Before the fight
The most important part of your preparation for the fight with Umibozu is to lit up all three lanterns in the location that are connected to the mission. Their locations can be found in the walkthrough for that
mission. Thanks to each one of them you can find burning stacks located on the boss arena. You can interact with them and enchant your weapon with fire. Each interaction depletes a fire source
so you can only use three enchantments during the entire fight.
It should be noted that the enemy isn't the toughest one when it comes to mechanics but he is very resistant to all kinds of damage and elements. Fire is his only weakness while he is completely invulnerable
to attacks enchanted by water.
Before you start the fight, you should prepare fire amulets, explosive rounds, burning shuriken or bombs. Everything that can inflict extra fire damage. A few amulets can be found in the mission's location
but you can also spend Onmyo magic points on renewable sources of fire, just to be sure.
For this fight, you should prepare two katanas because their attacks keep a balance between attack speed and damage. You should use fast attacks because the boss has a weak spot that allows you to deal
critical damage with each hit but more about this later.
Hyokotto Mask is also very useful but I recommend to learn boss' animations first because using a mask takes some time and it can make you an easy target. However, if you learn about the boss' weak spot
then, by using a few masks, you can quickly finish this fight.
The Fight - Stage 1
At the beginning of the battle you can notice the boss in the area right before the gate. If he notices you and doesn't go under water then he may perform a few ranged attacks. Among them there can be one that
can kill you instantly when you are hit with it. Dodge all attacks and use pauses between boss' attacks to throw bombs or shoot explosive rounds. Remember to move to the center of the pier, otherwise, your
bombs may not reach their target.
After that the boss goes underwater and moves closer to one of the pier's edges. Use this moment to interact with a burning stack and set your weapon on fire. You can fight in two ways - you can stay really
close to the boss, this make you almost invulnerable to this melee attacks but you become an easy target for his ranged attacks. Also, you won't have access to shiny spots on his tentacles which makes this
stage of the fight go for a little bit longer. You can also stay at a medium distance and avoid all his attacks while you are focusing on glowing spots on the boss' tentacles. This option is more difficult and, on top
of that, the boss can perform a long series of ranged attacks which makes you waste your fire enchantment.
I recommend the first option because after learning his attack animations staying alive will be much easier. Remember to not push with your hero on the boss because Umibozu moves away from the pier during
a few attacks which means that William can fall into the water.
Ranged attacks:
Water bubble - deals water damage and slows you down for a few seconds. Umibozu can use this attack when you stay close to him.
Ship - this attack is telegraphed and shortly after that, the boss spits out a shipwreck at you. If you don't avoid it, you can be pushed back and lose your balance. Besides that, the attack deals a lot of damage
even if you block it. You can perform dodge when the boss spits it out, you won't be hit with it.
Beam ray - the boss leans towards the pier for a brief moment. Then, his "eyes" come together into one giant spot from which he shoots a big beam of light. If you stand in its way and get hit then, regardless of
your health points, you will die. If you notice that the boss is leaning in a characteristic way then it is time to prepare yourself for dodging. If you are close enough you can approach the "eye" and hit it. It works in
the same way as glowing spots on his tentacles but the boss receives more damage.
Melee attacks:
Attacking with one tentacle - the boss raises one tentacle. Then he hits the pier. Wait for the moment when the boss chooses a place where he wants to hit and then dodge to a side. A tentacle stays on the
pier for a short moment and if you are quick enough, you will be able to lock your camera on it. Look for glowing spots on a tentacle and hit that place as many times as you can. Then, you must lock on boss'
"eyes" again.
Attacking with two tentacles - rules are similar to the previous attack but with one difference - the enemy raises both tentacles immediately. One falls down right on the pier and the second one is slightly bend
and it can hit you if you are not careful enough. You can avoid the tentacles and attack any of them by aiming at the weak spot. You should perform dodges towards boss' torso. This area is safe during this
attack.
Notice that a weak spot on tentacles is always in a different spot. You can easily find it when a tentacle falls down but because of that you can't stand right below it. It is important to remember that
increased damage aimed at a "weak spot" can only be dealt with a weapon enchanted with fire.
From time to time, the boss jumps to the other side of the pier. When he submerges, move to the pier's center. If your weapon has vertical attacks then you can use them on the boss when he is in the air.
Otherwise, you can use this moment for drinking a potion or to enchant your weapon with fire.
When his health is below half, Umibozu will jump on the pier on which you stand. This marks the start of the second stage of this fight.
The Fight - Stage 2
Umibozu takes a lot of space on the pier which means that it is easier for you to fall into water. Try to stay near the area in front of the gate because it is the widest part and it is easier to perform dodges
there. Besides that, some of his attacks can push you back which can move you out of the pier. It is important to have a rail behind your back. If you didn't use the stacks yet then it is time to do it.
In this stage of the fight it is recommended to stay a little bit farther from the boss and wait for his moves. Otherwise, you can easily fall into his trap. Of course, you can keep using bombs and other items
that inflict fire damage.
Types of attacks:
The same as before, however, the boss now has a few new moves.
Jump attack - the boss prepares to jump, makes a small jump and falls down. When he hits the ground, he creates a wave that can push you back and make you lose balance if you stand too close to him.
Absorbing attack - after performing the attack described above the boss spills all over the pier. If you approach him the boss starts to go back to his regular form and, at the same time, absorbs you. You can't
move for a brief moment and then you are dropped from a height. Keep pressing the dodge button in order to get up from the ground.
Hit - Umibozu leans back slightly and then he hits the pier with his torso in the place where you stand. Jump to a side and hit a glowing spot that, similarly to tentacles, will change its place. The boss stays in this
position for a few seconds so you can attack him or heal yourself. It is a good moment for you to use Hyokotto Mask but you need to aim well.
Joro-Gumo | Boss battle
In this chapter you can find numerous advices that can make the boss fight easier.

The fight takes place in an arena inside of a castle

This boss is a hybrid of a human and a giant spider. The fight itself focuses on blocking enemy attacks or dodging them and using single attacks. Hitting abdomen deals the biggest amount of damage. You should
equip a weapon that gives you a lot of protection from attacks. In my case, an axe was a great solution even though I use sword throughout the entire game. An axe gives a good protection from enemy attacks
and it deals a lot of damage with single hits which should be used in this fight.
Before you start the fight, you should equip yourself with a few useful items such as bombs and amulets that enchant weapons with elements.
Joro-Gumo has a few types of attacks:
 Single hits - when the enemy is close to you it can perform a few attacks alternately. These attacks are easy to block or dodge.
 Grab - it may happen that Joro-Gumo will grab you with her claws and try to rip apart. If you allow her to grab you, you will receive a lot of damage and be stunned for a moment.
 Spitting spider web - the enemy spits spider web that stays on the arena for a moment. Entering that area slows down your moves.
 Releasing spider web - similarly to other spiders, this enemy also releases a string of spider web towards us. If we dodge to a side, we don't receive any damage. However, blocking it also deals no damage
but it inflicts slowdown status. If our block wasn't successful, we receive damage and we are slowed down.
 Jump - the spider jumps on us from a height. The best way to avoid damage is to dodge.
 Abdomen attack - when we take all of the enemy's Ki, she will hide her legs for a moment and attacks us with her abdomen. We can either block or dodge this attack.
The entire fight is rather schematic. The enemy keeps repeating her attacks which makes Joro-Gumo a rather easy target when we learn all her moves and we know how they are telegraphed. The best way to
deal damage is to attack the abdomen because this hurts her a lot. You should also be on move and wait for a right moment to attack and move back.
Yuki-onna | Boss battle
In this chapter you can find numerous advices that can make the boss fight easier.

You will have to face this boss

This enemy is a woman in a form of an ice demon. Besides normal physical damage, her attacks also deal damage from ice. Before you fight her, you should equip yourself with armor and accessories that
protect and increase your defense to a particular element. The fight itself is rather difficult because of the speed of her attacks. A weapon that deals damage at a medium distance is perfect for this fight, e.g.
spears. Besides armor and weapons, you should also equip yourself with fire amulet because the enemy is rather vulnerable to this element. Hyokotto Mask is useful here because it allows you to spit fire. The
fight is very dynamic - it focuses on running to the enemy, dealing one hit and jumping back to a safe distance. This must be repeated a few dozen times. You must also watch out for her attacks that must be
either blocked or dodged.
Yuki-onna has a few attacks.
 Regular hits - a series of attacks with a spear that can be blocked or dodged. After that she makes a brief pause which can be used by us to deal her damage.
 Ice crystals - this attack can deal a lot of damage if we are in its range. Yuki-onna thrusts the spear into ground which causes sharp ice spikes to emerge from ground. When she prepares this attack, we
should keep safe distance but when she uses it we can run to her and deal damage.
 Ice shards - ice crystals that appear in the air and hit you with great force. This attack can be blocked or dodged. You can dash forward and attack.
 Flying spear - a very dangerous attack. The boss throws her spear at you. It may happen that you won't have enough Ki during block and you may receive some damage. The best solution is to dodge in the
right moment. When you do that, you can also run to her and deal damage because the enemy has no weapons for a brief moment.
 Frost breath - another attack during which we can deal a few hits. You simply have to dodge and run to the enemy.
 Charge - a very dangerous attack. The best way to avoid it is to dodge. If you fail, you will receive a lot of damage. However, if you succeed then you can attack ones and move away from her at a safe
distance.
White Tiger | Boss battle
In this chapter you can find numerous advices that can make the boss fight easier.

You should use your chance and attack the enemy at the beginning of the fight when the boss doesn't move

As the title suggests, here, we must face a giant cat. Despite of how it may look, the fight is rather easy. You just have to be cautious and follow your plan. At the beginning of the fight, you should run to the boss
and deal him damage because the Tiger will stand motionless. Sadly, the enemy is constantly facing us and performs all attacks from that stance which means that it is hard to aim at the rear paws. The best way
to fight this enemy is to get closer to him, wait for a right moment, hit the boss and run away. A perfect chance for making an attack that deals a lot of damage is to hit the boss when he shoots a beam. Dodge to
a side and run to him in order to attack the head. This takes away a lot of health. You should also equip yourself with fire amulet because the enemy is vulnerable to that element. Also, your armor should be
rather light so you won't use too much Ki.
The White Tiger has a few attacks:
 Standard attacks - the enemy uses his front paws alternately to attack. The best way to avoid damage is to run away from them or block. When the attacks are over we have a moment to deal a few attacks
and then run away.
 Charge - this attack is rather dangerous because it deals a lot of damage. We must be very cautious because the boss' wings can also hurt us.
 Beam - an attack during which we can deal a lot of damage. When you notice that the enemy prepares for the attack, you must dodge to a side and run to him. Attack the head to deal massive damage.
 Tail attack - during this attack, the enemy spins around and deals damage with his tail and wings. The best way to avoid being hurt is to dodge. I don't recommend attacking after this move because the boss
prepares for another attack immediately.

Giant Toad and Ogress | Boss battle

Giant Toad

The Giant Toad defeated

In this fight, your opponent will be a demon that has assumed the form of a giant toad. It is much taller than a human, and its weapon is a spear. In itself, the battle is quite easy when you learn your opponent's
attacks. The fight has been divided into two phases. At first, the toad attacks you with several basic attacks, but as the fight progresses, the array of abilities it uses gets wider. Du7ring the fight, it is best to keep
close to the opponent, because you will avoid some of the attacks this way.
The Giant Toad uses several attacks.
 Spear jab - the Toad launches a single attack with a long range. To avoid it, it is best to dodge forward when you are close to the opponent. When you are farther away, it is better to dodge to the side, or run
left or right.
 Leap - An attack that is easy to predict and avoid. When the toad is getting ready for the leap, get away to a safe distance. After it lands on the ground, dash up and deal several blows.
 Pipe attack - The opponent takes the pipe out from its mouth and attacks with it. Easy to block.
 Tongue attack - The opponent removes the pipe from its mouth and throws its tongue in your direction. If you fail to dodge, you will end up in its mouth, chewed and spit out. The attack consumes many health
points.
 Fire shuriken - The opponent throws several fire shuriken at you. Easy to block.
 Bombs - the toad throws several incendiary, or paralyzing bombs. The attack is impossible to block and the only way out is dodging. When you are behind the opponent, within close proximity, you will take no
damage.
Ogress
 The Ogress is yet another opponent that it is easy to stay close to and stay in constant movement. She is quite quick, which makes the fight tad more complicated, but there is a way to win. Before the
battle, it is a good idea to obtain healing items and, if possible, have the amulet of idleness, which slows the Ogress down. Her attacks deal a lot of damage, but with a bit of patience, you can quickly
defeat her. The thing is to keep close to the opponent and try to stay behind the ogress for as long as possible, which is when you avoid standard attacks. The only exception is her jump. As soon as
you notice that she is preparing for the jump, dash away to a safe distance, return and land your blows. Then, repeat. Apart from healing items, it is also a good idea to obtain some amulets that give your
weapon a bonus of damage from elements.

Okatsu | Boss battle

Okatsu will often keep at a distance

Okatsu is one of the easiest opponents in the game. Her attacks are quite quick, but they are easy to block. Before the battle, it is advisable to obtain a weapon that provides lots of defense points and
an armor that ensure high mobility. A very important element of the battle, which you can use to your advantage, is that Okatsu also uses Chi. Therefore, after she depletes her entire bar, you can
perform a finishing move that will deal high damage. One of the attacks that you should keep an eye out for is double charge. Okatsu moves quickly towards you and, after that, she moves forward again and
lands her blow. This way, she moves across the entire arena. The easiest way to defeat her is to weaken her Chi and landing finishing blows.
Okatsu's example attacks are:
 Standard blows - attacks with hands and legs. Easy to block and counter.
 Charge and double charge - Okatsu moves forward quickly and then, she moves forward again to land an attack.
 Shuriken - The opponent jumps up into the air and throws several shuriken in your direction. Easy to block.
Saika Magoichi | Boss battle

Watch out for the flames around the arena

Saika Magoichi is a quite difficult opponent and that for two reasons. First, the opponent's attacks are swift and they deal considerable damage. Secondly there are a number of traps in the arena, such as fire
around it. The key element is your gear and amulets. What you should especially protect yourself against is fire. Of course, there are water barrels in the arena, thanks to which you become temporarily
invulnerable to fire, but there are few of them and the effect is short. Therefore, it is armor and amulets of defense against fire that are key here. When it comes to the opponent, he lands quick blows one after
another. If you block single blows only, you will lose the fight, because you will run out of Chi to block everything. Even if you are using items that speed up regeneration, Chi and Chi Pulse will always be timed
perfectly, It is best to dodge from blows, so that you get behind the opponent at least for a moment. Also, it is a good idea to stand in positions where your blows make Saika get into fire, which
deals additional damage. Personally, I used two swords for this battle, thanks to which I was able to land several swift blows and escape into safety quickly.

Shima Sakon | Boss battle

The arena of this battle is quite small

The basic thing that you should get before this battle is the armor and amulets protecting from lightning. Shima is armed with a long spear and lands several standard, but deadly, blows. Usually,
these are jabs and swings, The battle consists of two phases that take place alternately. After a while, Shima summons his guardian spirit and his weapon deals damage from lightning, at which
point you have to keep clear. The battle itself is about dodging from the opponent's blows and returning with your own attack. Also, it is a good idea to exhaust the enemy and deal the finishing
blows when his chi drops to a minimum.

Gasha Dokuro | Boss battle

the opponent is huge, but he is relatively easy to defeat

Gasha-Dokuro can intimidate with his sheer size and looks, but the battle itself is relatively easy. As soon as you get into the arena, go down to the very bottom and attack the opponent's feet. At the same
time, you have to watch out for his jumps and kicks, which are very easy to dodge. After you have destroyed one of the legs, go up, because the exhausted opponent leans his head against a
ledge. Then, land as many blows as possible, for which it is a good idea to use the live weapon to boost you attack strength. After Gasha stands up, return down and take interest in the other foot.
After that, go up and deal damage to the head. This way, you should deplete about a half of the opponent's health. Then, deal damage to the demon's palms that he rests on the ledge after your
attacks. In the same way as the feet, you attack the palms and, when their health bar drops to zero, attack the head. It is a good idea to have several soul stones in the inventory, thanks to which
you speed up the activation of the live weapon. At the moment, at which the red health bar drops to zero, do not wait for the opponent to lean and run immediately up, to deal as much damage as
possible.

Ishida Mitsunari | Boss battle

You have to watch out for the enemy attacks from the very beginning of the battle

The battle against Ishida is quite demanding, due to the opponent's speed of attack. At the very beginning, when he changes, he performs an uncontrollable energy burst, which you can either block or
dodge. It is a good idea to have the amulet of idleness on you, thanks to which you will be able to slow your opponent down a little. Just like in the case of Shima Sakon, the battle has been divided into two
alternating stages, when Ishida summons his guardian spirit. This is when his attacks become stronger. The most effective way to defeat this boss is to keep to his left side. At the moment, at which he
launches an attack, dodge and deal damage to the "tail". This way, you will deal the most damage. When you have the amulet of idleness, use it at the moment, at which Ishida transforms, thanks to which
you slow down his attacks while he is using his guardian spirit. Thanks to which, you also avoid his jump in your direction. Apart from the amulet, you should also take along lots of healing items.

Obsidian Samurai | Boss battle

The opponent commes armed with a large axe

On the one hand, the battle is very difficult, due to the sheer strength of his attacks. On the other, however, with a bit of patience, you can defeat him and take minimum damage. The important thing is to get
before the battle a weapon, which deals high damage, and armor with high defense level. If you want to make sure that you defeat the samurai without the necessity to wait for the stroke of luck, you simply
have to follow several rules.
Keep at a medium distance of the opponent. Observe how he swings his axe and attack only after he slams it into the ground. Then, you will have a moment to dash up, deal a single blow and get away. This is
why, the best weapon here is either a battleaxe or a sledgehammer. Sometimes, after he summons his guardian spirit, the boss jumps up into the air and hits the ground, which generates lightning. You only have
to get away to a safe distance. Around the middle of the battle, the samurai swaps to sword and speeds up his attacks, which may be dangerous. You only have to wait it out, by walking around one of the pillars.
When he returns to his previous weapon, you return to the above tactic.

Oda Nobunaga | Boss battle

The boss uses various natural elements

The fight with Oda Nobunaga starts with a sequence of battles with three bosses in a row. This battle is the easiest of the three, even though Oda uses various natural elements. Before the battle, it is a good
idea to wear amulets protecting from various elements. The battle itself consists in blo9cking the opponent's attacks and attacking at the right moments. It is best to use here weapons of longer range,
e.g. a spear. Then, you move around the arena, keep a certain distance of the opponent and wait for his move. At the moment that he stops his attacks to take a breath, you attack. The battle does not end after
you drive the enemy's health bar down. You have to deplete 2/3 of his health. Also, you can use finishing moves when the enemy's Chi drops to zero.

Kelley | Boss battle

Finally, a fight with Kelley

When your adventure draws to an end, you will be fighting dark mage Kelley. In itself, the battle is difficult, because you have to pay attention at all times. It is a good thing to have as many healing items
with you as possible and, if possible, the amulet of idleness, thanks to which you slow Kelley down. His blows may not deal too much damage, but if you are not focused, the blue bar can drop to zero pretty
quickly. While fighting at close range, it is best to dodge and attack the boss from behind, or from the side. Then, you move back to a safe distance. The boss's attack that you should especially pay attention
to is his jabbing his hand into your character. This attack deals a lot of damage and replenishes Kelley's health. Also, the boss uses a magic shield that you can break by landing several blows. But there
is no point in wasting Chi on that.
Attacks you should be familiar with to win:
 Hand jab into the character - this attack deals massive damage and replenishes the opponent's health bar. It is best to dodge this attack back or to the side. After that, you will have the opportunity to land two
or three blows.
 Blade jab - easy to block. After that, you will have some time to land your blows.
 Snake from the ground - Kelley lets a snake under the ground and it surfaces in the spot where you are standing. To avoid taking damage, take two steps to the side.
 Snake throw - the boss throws a snake at you. You can either dodge or block this attack.
 Warp - Kelley warps near your position and attacks with the spear, or attempts to jab his hand into your character. When you spot that he is preparing to do that, it is best to remain in constant movement.
Yamata no Orochi | Boss battle

You are simultaneously attacked by several heads

The fight with Yamata no Orochi requires you your focus and high mobility. Therefore, it is a good idea to wear an armor that ensure s exactly that. The battle consists of three parts.
From the water, the head of the beast emerges and it attacks in two ways. The first one is magic attack. To avoid damage, it is best to dash up to the wall behind you. The other attack is a swing with the
head. This can be blocked or you can dodge from it. To defeat the opponent, dash up to the roof's edge and slash his neck. If he steps back, return to the wall and wait for your next opportunity. If his health bar
drops to zero, he drops into the water and the next part of the battle starts.
In this phase, you will have to fight two opponents. Attacking and defense are the same, but this time, you have to watch out for two of them. The best way is to focus on one of them, destroy the head, at
which point you can focus on the other one and use the same tactic.
The last part of the battle is the most difficult, because you are under simultaneous attack from six heads. The key here is to focus on one head at a time. Otherwise, you will be pepper4ed with attacks. The
tactic is the same as previously. You dash up to the edge, deal damage and move away to a safe distance. Then repeat. Here, you also have to keep an eye on your health at all times, not to miss the
moment when you need to use a potion. After the battle, the ending cutscene starts.

Nioh - Interface

Interface and controls | Basics

The chapter below takes a look at the interface, which will accompany you throughout your whole adventure with NiOh. Aside from that, you'll find the list of controls used in the game.
 Interface
 Controls
Interface
1. Health and Stamina Bars - The blue bar represents your health, while the green one shows your Ki.
2. Guardian Spirit Bar -This icon represents the presence of the Guardian Spirit who accompanies our hero. This icon is empty if the hero had died, and the Spirit has to guard his grave and the Amrita
stored there. Damage dealing increases the amount of Amrita which further fuels the Guardian Spirit bar. When the bar is full, the player can use a special fighting style - Living Weapon.
3. Radar - The radar icon lights red if you were detected by an enemy, accompanied by the characteristic sound. The white line in a circle shows you the direction in which you need to be headed to
proceed with your objectives.
4. Item Shortcuts - You can enter the inventory to assign items to eight available slots (2 tabs). The items are assigned to directional buttons, while R2 is used to switch the item tab.
5. Battle Stances - this part of the interface shows the available battle stances. The current stance is marked by white lining. The hero can holster his weapon after a moment of idleness, but the chosen
stance is constantly active.
6. Gold - You'll be amassing this currency throughout the game. You can see the current amount at any time by looking at this icon.
7. Amrita - energy used to develop your hero. Every defeated enemy or an environmental source increases the amount of Amrita you have with you. More details can be found in the dedicated chapter.
8. Currently Equipped Weapon - the inventory window enables you to equip two weapons that can be swapped during combat, without having to open the inventory. This icon shows the currently equipped
weapon - you can press R1 to see the alternative choice.
9. Currently Equipped Ranged Weapon - as above, the inventory window enables you to choose two ranged weapons that can be swapped during combat, without having to switch the weapons through game
menus. You can press R1 to see the contents of the second slot.
10. Skill Points - this part of the interface contains scrolls that symbolize acquired skill points. The skills are divided into three categories: Samurai (weapon skills: Sword, Dual Sword, Spear, Axe, and
Kusarigama), Ninja, and Onmyo Magic. The number on the scroll indicates the amount of points you are able to spend on certain skills.
