Areas of Future Research

Impact feedback has on student’s time on task during workstation time

• Collect data on a selected work station before and after implementing a feedback
intervention.

• Case study on one set of student partners at a work station for many months to see their
change in on-task behaviors while implementing a feedback intervention.

How does feedback and student motivation relate?

• I completed my action research on a feedback intervention. I would love to do some

more research to see the connection between the feedback and how that motivates
students.

How does having students document their completed work on an online portfolio
(like Seesaw) effect motivation to work?

• I believe researching this type of method for students to document their workstation
completion would motivation students in a couple ways. I feel it would be engaging/fun
for students, and I feel like the accountability is there because they know I will be
checking to see if they have completed it. I would be curious to see what research is
already out there on this.

What classroom management strategies are most effective during whole group
teaching time? Small group teaching?

• This research would help me as I am teaching throughout the day. Not all areas of the day
look the same, and when students are whole group vs small group/partners different types
of strategies may be found more effective than others depending on the situation. The
reason students are off-task could potentially be because I haven’t found the right types
of management strategies for small group/partner work.
