KITAAB - Books people loved

In the process of collection of various materials in the cities, we receive many books regularly.
Goonj then channelize these books in different verticals according to the need and requirements
in the different part of the country. For that we segregate these books in the following
categories:-

URBAN BOOKS

● Competitive Exam books:- People who are done with preparing for IIties, CAT, GMAT
and other competitive exams. Send these books to us for other aspirant candidates.

● NCERT Books (9th to 12th):- These does not limit to NCERT books. Remember your
school days, with NCERT refer to thousands of other reference books as well, like RD
Sharma, S Chand, Together with and what not. This category includes all such books.

● Novels:- This category includes all fiction like thriller, horror, self-help, romance etc to
non fiction like psychology, philosophy, history etc.

● Religious Books:- Bhagwat Gita, Quran, bible and other religious books belong to this
category.

Rural Books
● Primary Books (1st to 5th) English
● Primary Books (1st to 5th) Hindi
● Secondary Books (6 to 8th) English
● Secondary Books (6th to 8th) Hindi

Library Kit
● Story Books English:- You might be old for bob the builder, fairy tales or Tenali Raman
stories but there are children who look forward to such books.

● Story Books Hindi

● Activity Books:- These books engage children in learning and some sort of activities
while reading.

● Dictionary

● Encyclopedia

● Play cards
 In-library kit section, you will find different sections for story books, activity books,
dictionary, play cards and encyclopaedia. Place all the mention books in its following
Categories.

Trash Books

So much we hate sending books in the trash, but there are some like filled activity books and
torn books which left us no other option but to give them away to kabadi wala.

Confused Books

This is our “Na tum jano na hum” category, this is a place for the books which does not belong
to any of the above categories. They find a space here.

Sorted Books

These are the novels, “Labelled and priced”, looking for people like you to take them home or
organize book fairs for them to find a new home.
