To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to recommend Claire Henry for your available teaching position. Ms. Henry was my
Student Teacher in the fall of 2014. The summer before the school year began, she eagerly assisted
with our classroom setup and checked in about our fall curriculum. As the school year began, I
quickly learned that Ms. Henry approaches students and curriculum with a curious, open mind. She
is naturally very helpful to students and teachers. The needs of the students are her priority.

Ms. Henry has qualities crucial to meeting the needs of a diverse range of students. She is
reflective, eager, open, positive, and collaborative. She made helpful suggestions on how to modify
routines and lessons to meet the needs of all students. Her management during teaching improved
as the semester progressed, allowing for more effective pacing and greater student engagement.

My colleagues, the families of my students, and most importantly the students themselves truly
enjoyed their time with Ms. Henry. She genuinely cares about the students individually and
collectively, and has a love of learning essential for a successful classroom teacher at any level.
