COURSEWORK

In the pages below you will find the courses I completed while pursuing my bachelor’s degree of Science
in Nursing, and examples of assignments completed as well as my reflections on these courses and
assignments, and how they have influenced my development and ideas about future of nursing.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

The primary objective of the Department of Nursing is to educate nursing students to become
competent, safe, high-quality and culturally sensitive nurses to care for individuals, children’s, families,
elderly and the whole community to meet their health care needs. Nursing school emphasizes that
learning nursing skills is important, however, with enough practice everyone can learn a skill. What is
most important for nurses is always being able to apply the skills in safest way and to use nursing
judgment to bring best outcomes for the patients. As with all the health care providers, nurse’s priority
must be Nonmaleficence’s, which is to cause no harm first.
