Scope and Limitations

The main focus of this study is to design and construct a biogas powered charging

station for smartphones. This project will also give emphasis on extracting biogas from food

waste in a process of anaerobic digestion to produce an alternative energy source for the

charging station. The researchers will sought to answer if the proposed alternative energy

source will be enough to charge smartphones like regular charging stations. Some materials and

parts to be used in the prototype of the project will be either be ordered or made by the

researchers. The study will focus only the design, construction and operation of the prototype.
