Decision for Carbon dioxide input or filter out from feed

A possible mechanism for Carbon dioxide removal is passing

it with lime powder on a rotary drum filter. As it is given that
methanol production rate is 300000 tons/annum, this implies
that 937500000 moles/annum of methanol will be produced
for which we require the same number of moles of methane
in feed. Methane gets converted to methanol in a 1:1
stoichiometric ratio. As we have considered feed as 95%
methane along with circa 5% carbon dioxide, thus
Considering F as moles of feed input
0.95F=9375000000 mole/annum
Annual feed moles(F)= 986842105.3 moles/annum
Moles of CO2=0.05F=49342105.26 moles/annum
Now, from the reaction
CaO + CO2 CaCO3
Mass of lime powder needed= 0.056 x (Moles of CO2)
=2763157.895 kg/annum
Taking market rate of lime powder as Rs. 4550/ton
Amount invested in lime powder=45.5x(Mass of lime
powder)=Rs. 12,57,23,684.20 /annum
Mass of CaCO3 deposited=0.1xMoles of CO2
=4934210.526 kg/annum
Taking market rate of calcium carbonate as Rs.12/kg
Cost recovered by selling CaCO3=12x(mass of CaCO3)
=Rs. 59210526.31/annum
Cost of 1 Rotary Drum filter = Rs. 33750
Annual Capital investment for Removing CO2
Buying Cost of lime powder=Rs.125723684.20
Cost of 1 RD filter =Rs. 33750.00
Selling cost of CaCO3 =Rs. 59210526.31
Annual capital investment =Rs. 66546907.89
