    Art: Kinetic sand


    Materials:

    1 cup of fine sand


    ½ tablespoon cornstarch
    1 teaspoon dish soap
    Water as needed
    Optional: food coloring

    Directions:
    Step 1 In a bowl mix fine sand and cornstarch together
    Step 2 Add dish soap and water; combine thoroughly until well mixed
    Step 3 Add food coloring if you like
    Step 4 Let dry 1-2 hours
    Step 5 Start playing
