Griffin Jenkins is a frequent music director and performer, but this is his first venture into the pirate

business. He has most recently MD’d the musicals Big Fish and Heathers, for the latter of which he
received a NAPTA Award. Occasionally, Griffin is seen on stage around Auckland, performing with
choirs, bands, or in musicals like [title of show]. In addition to performing, Griffin is passionate about
helping young artists develop their craft, and he teaches piano and singing around the city.

Griffin is also an award-winning linguist and music writer, focusing on Yiddish opera and lyrical
interpretations of the 1960s British Invasion.

Griffin grew up in the hills of West Virginia and currently lives in Onehunga.
