Griffin Jenkins approached me for vocal assistance as he was preparing for the ATCL
diploma in singing and I was pleased to help him work on his repertoire and technique
at this time. He is a young man of advanced musicality in piano and voice and I was
impressed with his energy, commitment and enthusiasm as we worked through his
songs in a programme he had selected.

I was also aware that Griffin had a strong drive and ability to pursue a broad field of
musical endeavour, including stage and music theatre, in both performance and direc-
tion. His own voice was ideal in range and production for this field and his existing
skills had given him the potential for a wide range of vocal styles, including knowledge
of classical repertoire.

I have no hesitation in recommending Griffin for advanced study in any chosen field of
musical or theatrical endeavour.
