FORMAL RESIGNATION LETTER

Dear Madam,
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here working as a part-time
violin teacher at the Dandelion School of Music. The atmosphere has
been great and the support of the administration staff has been
invaluable to me during my time here.
However, I will need to take a break off teaching to further pursue
my education, with a six week summer course over at the Bowdoin
Festival in Maine, USA as well as possibly a student exchange to the
Sibelius Academy of Music in Helsinki, Finland. These commitments
mean that I can no longer possibly maintain my teaching post at
Dandelion.
Therefore, this letter serves as my 2-month notice with my last
working day being the 15th of May, 2016. I will provide any
assistance necessary to make the transitional period as smooth as
possible for the school.
It has been a pleasure working with everyone here at the school and
Im thankful for the opportunity given to do so. I wish the school all
the best in future endeavours, and continued success in its growth
and expansion.
