St Augustines Primary School Bulletin: Monday 2nd January 2012

Many thanks to everybody for the fantastic concerts we have enjoyed this year. I know that you have worked tirelessly during the past few weeks to ensure the high standard of performance, costume and scenery. The feedback I have had from so many parents has been very positive. I hope everyone enjoys a well deserved rest, thank you for your amazing support and commitment throughout the year, and all good wishes for 2012. Staff should note that The Feast of the Epiphany, which falls on a Friday, will in fact be celebrated in Church on Sunday as it is a Feast of the Lord. However, I would expect all children to learn about this important celebration and write about it in their RE books. All staff and children are invited to take a photograph at 2pm on Christmas Day so that we can share our Christmas traditions. Please take part and bring your photographs in when we return School will be open from 8am to 4pm until Friday 23rd December.
