Dear Parents / Carers

On behalf of all the staff we welcome you to the new school year and hope you have had a
wonderful summer holiday.

We are delighted to let you know that we have been appointed by the Governors as Co-
Headteachers. We are both excited and have high ambitions for all our pupils, staff and the
local community.

As Co-Headteachers we will both be equally responsible for leading the school to ensure it
continues to provide an outstanding education. We are extremely proud to have been part of
Fagley Primary Schools journey so far and will continue to ensure that the highest standard
of teaching and learning is achieved.

We have a hugely committed team of staff and wonderful children, which of course, is a
great place for any new Headteacher to start!

Parents make an important contribution to children’s achievements at school, and we want to

further develop this relationship so that children can reach their full potential at both home
and school. As key educators in your children’s lives, we feel that it is important that you
feel you have a voice and that as a school we are approachable and listen to your concerns,
worries or thoughts about the school.

Our vision for the school is to ensure that the needs of all our children are met in all areas of
school life and that each child is given a wealth of experience and opportunities. This in turn,
will guarantee they leave Fagley Primary School at the end of Year 6, feeling extremely
confident, responsible and competent members of society, ready for their Secondary School
journey.
