Home - School Partnership

Dear Parents/Guardians,

1. We would like to welcome your child/ward to Lakeside Primary School. We are most delighted to have him/her
with us. We are the Form teacher, Mdm Hazwani, and Co-form teachers, Mrs Vijay and Mdm Govind of 4G. We
look forward to working in close partnership with you in supporting your child/ward in his/her journey at Lakeside.

2. In 2023, we look forward to working collaboratively with you to help your child/ward develop a love for learning
and strive to reach his/her full potential. We will do our utmost to provide a caring and vibrant learning
environment, with the well-being of your child/ward at the core. We will need your support in monitoring and
supervising your child/ward’s work at home as success in his/her education requires a collaborative home-school
effort between us.

3. We seek your cooperation in working with your child/ward on the following:

• All Primary 1 to 6 students are expected to bring a working Oral Digital Thermometer (ODT) every day.

• Reading is an essential part of learning. The school will be starting the day with silent reading. All students
are to bring a storybook every day.

• Students will be recording their homework and important notes in the student handbook. The book will also
serve as a form of communication between us. Please check the handbook on a daily basis and clarify with
us if you have any doubts.

• Students are strongly encouraged to settle down in the school hall/classroom at least 15 minutes before the
start of school to get ready for the school day. The school hours and venue to report to are as follows:
