To the Barry’s Bootcamp Administration:

My name is EmmaLee Kidwell, and I am a sophomore musical theatre major at Pace University. I am
originally from Louisville, Kentucky, and moved to New York City a year ago. Since graduating high
school, fitness, nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle have become very important to me. The opening for
a front desk team member caught my eye, and I’d love the opportunity to be a part of the Barry’s
team! I have many friends and classmates who work for Barry’s Bootcamp, and all of them speak
very highly of the work environment and atmosphere. I love the positivity and team based work
environment that Barry’s cultivates, and I think that I could bring something special to the table.
As my resume indicates, I have strong customer service and social interaction skills; I’m definitely a
“people person.” This, I think, above all else, qualifies me to work at the front desk. I relish in talking
to customers, and want to help people in any way I can. I’ve also worked multiple retail jobs, and
have also worked in the food industry. All of my previous employment opportunities have allowed
me to hone my social skills and utilize my naturally outgoing personality. Working as a cashier at a
high volume restaurant allowed me to learn how to prioritize work and manage tasks in a fast
paced work environment – I believe this qualifies me to handle the quick pace at the Barry’s studio.
I have worked in many team based environments, and I know that I am able to work with others to
maintain efficiency and productivity.

I will be back in New York City on September 1st, and I would love to meet with a team member to
discuss the possibility of working for Barry’s Boot Camp. Thank you for your consideration, and I
look forward to being in touch! Should you have any questions, I can be reached at the contact
information above.

Best wishes,
EmmaLee Kidwell
