Kowhaiwhai Guide

Kowhaiwhai; option 1
Representing biculturalism with the use of mangōpare (symbolises the hammerhead shark)
and two continuous manawa lines.

Colours
These colours come from the story of creation. The black/grey represents “Te Po” the darkness,
the red represents the blood that was spilt and the white represents “Te Ao Marama” - the
light.
