Breaking Bad is an American crime-drama television series, created and produced by Vince

Gilligan. Just as Peaky Blinders, which instead is primarily set in Birmingham.

Breaking Bad tells the story of Walter White, interpreted by Bryan Cranston, a chemistry
teacher who, after the discover of having lung cancer, starts to produce
methamphetamine helped by Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul, an ex-student of Walt.
Peaky Blinders, instead, follows the exploit of the Shelby family, a Birmingham criminal
gang, led by Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy). The gang starts running a small illegal
booking company and during the season they expand more and more, all the way to go
into politics.
The acting in Breaking Bad is absolutely convincing and realistic, and this happens both
with the principal characters and with the secondary ones.
In Peaky Blinders too happens the same thing, so all the episodes results realistic and
pleasant to see.
There’s not an incredible and unforgettable soundtrack in Breaking Bad, but the opening
theme song is iconic and powerful, even if it lasts only a few seconds.
The soundtrack of Peaky Blinders, composed by Nick Cave and Mearl is adequate and
never not suitable for the moment.
But the main thing that this two series have in common is that it’s impossible for the
spectator to not emphatize with the main character, even if he is evil and it’s known by the
spectator.
At the end, these are two series which I higly recommend, and that can be seen in one
breath.
