Title of Lesson: All About Seeds

Objective One: The children will develop an understanding about seeds and the
different shapes and sizes by putting them in groups.

Outcome The children were able to understand the different types of seeds and
the different sizes.
Follow up I would do another lesson revolving how plants grow and what they
need for them to grow.

observing them.

children answered “it will grow.”
Follow up I would follow up and do a lesson on making your own plant in a bag. I
will have the children plant a seed and watch it grow.

1. The children were able to predict what would happen after you planted a seed.

2. The children were able to identify the different seeds and sizes of the seeds.

3. The children were able to sort them and understand that they are all different types
of seeds.

Some children weren’t able to do this lesson because it was “to advanced”.
How would you address the difficulties and/or challenges if it happened again?
I would make it less advanced so all of the children can do it next time.
