NEWABSTRACT:

These articles are the abstracts of the 3 research papers published in various journal with
relation to the offshore welding and effects of welding speed on bubble dynamics. Various
papers are deal with the case studies of the process stability in mechanical constraint-assisted
underwater wet welding of steel sheets, while some of them are focussed on microstructure
and corrosion behavior of s32101 stainless steel underwater dry and wet welded joints. Some
of the papers are also dealing with analysis and improvement of underwater wet welding
process stability with static mechanical constraint support.

[1.]In first paper behaviour of bubble is observed under high speed cameras during
offshore welding. It is observed at various speeds ranges from 1 mm/sec to 6 mm/sec to
know about the behaviour of bubble at different different speeds. Mainly we did some
experiments during offshore welding i.e with constraints and witout constraints. With
these parameters we conclude the variation in bubble dynamics with and without
constraint.
[2.]In second paper analysis and improvement of underwater wet welding process
stability with static mechanical constraint support is discussed. It dictates that on
using mechanical constraints bubble stability, arc stability, burning process and
welding morphology increases which means that without constraint there are so
many issues in offshore welding which can improve by using mechanical
constraints.

[3.]In third paper the microstructure of offshore welded joint is discussed.Basically it’s the
study of microstructures of localised corrosion of welded joints which are welded under
water. The size and proportion of the austenite phases of the underwater dry welded joints
were larger than those of the underwater wet welded joints under the same heat input
conditions.
