After obtaining my associates degree with an intention of majoring in business I went to work as a manager at a
supply and production company in St. Louis to see if this was really the direction I wanted to go. While I learned a
great deal about business and managing people, I learned more about myself. My passion has always been the
outdoors and natural sciences, so I enrolled in the UF college of agriculture. My primary focus is the impact of
invasive species and plant propagation with experience in communication.

EXPERIENCE
JANUARY 2018 – PRESENT
STUDENT LAB ASSISTANT, UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
In charge of maintaining 1200-1500 peach seeds and seedlings. Inoculate multiple different citrus
variants to increase the local tissue bank.

JANUARY 2017 – JULY 2017

ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER, SERVICE METAL PRODUCTS
Responsible for receiving large shipments and making sure parts were accounted for. In charge of
overseeing 12 other employees and creating day to day work schedules. Checking and sending
over 100 packages per day through both UPS and freight sources.

After taking several years off from school, I returned to get my degree and graduated with a 3.0

I am currently enrolled at the University of Florida and plan to graduate in 2019. My current UF
GPA is 3.1

ACTIVITIES
I am an active member in the community in Jacksonville, where I have volunteered at both Habijax and
Habitat for Humanity. I also volunteer at the Sulzbacher Center feeding the homeless several times a
year. I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy all forms of watersports such as surfing and scuba diving.
