Having a dual income, being your authentic self and having a supportive
that two incomes are better than one. In fact, a second income enhances the
likelihood of the vacation everyone needs. Also, there is the ability to better
afford the unexpected expenses that can arise, such as home or car repairs.
In addition, there is the added bonus that having double health benefits can
bring. Braces are not cheap! Next, getting dressed up for a date just to be let
down is no fun. In fact, most people going on first, second, third dates are
hiding things about themselves they would rather not reveal, especially to
someone they barely know. When you are married you do not have to
pretend to be perfect anymore. For instance, you can wear your favorite
shirt that has a hole in the armpit or your beloved pair of jogging pants as
much as you want. Your spouse will still love you without makeup or with
that 5 o’clock shadow. Finally, life is hard, but having a supportive spouse to
navigate the challenges life brings can make those times less stressful to
deal with. Having that person to turn to on your worst days is something to
cherish. For example, coming home to the same person every day who loves
and cares about you because of, and in spite of, who you are is one of the
