MISE - EN PLACE

 One of the most common phrases used in the kitchen is MISE – EN PLACE. This means “putting
in place” or “everything in its place." It refers to the set up required before cooking, and is often
used in professional kitchens to refer to organizing and arranging the ingredients. That a cook will
require for the menu items that are expected to be prepared during a shift.

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED

 1 Chopping Board

 1 Chef’s Knife

 1 Paring Knife

 1 Vegetable Peeler

 1 Steel Sharpener

 1 Slide Towel

 4 Appetizer Plates

 1 Empty bowl for off cuts

 1 Utility Tray

INGREDIENTS FOR THE CHEF’S SALAD

 3 PCS OF EGGS
 1 CARROT
 ¼ CHERRY TOMATOES
 ¼ OF CHICKEN BREAST
 1 CUCUMBER
 1 AVOCADO
 ½ LETTUCE
 1 TURNIP
INGREDIENTS FOR CAESAR SALAD DRESSING

 ½ CUP OLIVE OIL


 2TSP MAYONNAISE
 1TBSP DIJON MUSTARD
 3 GARLICS CLOVES MINCED
 ¼ CUP PARMESAN CHEESE
 2 TBSP FRESH LEMON JUICE
 2 TSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
