mural by artist NC Wyeth, postcard of the Apollo Space Suit, photo of Delaware’s first
African-American State senator receiving an honorary degree, and letter from an
astronaut to a fan inquiring about Apollo waste systems are representative of some of

c. [Slide 3]Goals: We will learn what the Delaware Heritage Collection is, learn how to
search it, and learn how we can use the materials that we find.
d. [Slide 4]The Delaware Heritage Collection is a website that is a digital repository or
database that brings together collections from over 20 Delaware institutions and allows
searching across all of those collections with one search (almost 50,000 items). There
are items in all of the different formats listed on the slide. It can be a great tool to learn
more about Delaware history and culture.

couple of the museums that contribute collections with descriptions of the types of
resources that are in their collections.

particular types of materials you would like to find? (type answer in the chat box)
