I selected the story about my experiences with German because it is a very relevant topic.
I am in German classes right now and will be for a long time. The country of Germany has a big
sphere of influence right now in the world and that continues to grow. These things add up to a
lot of relatable content for me which made it easy to produce a story. I am content with this
selection because German has a big part in my life currently, literally taking up several hours of
my week, every week. I decided to choose a written narrative form because of my little creativity
and short experience with video making. While I would enjoy editing and crafting a neat video
narrative, it may not come out as I would hope, making a sub-par final cut. Writing is a lot of
work and the editing process never stops, we just run out of time. Which means there is always
opportunity to make an essay better, which may not always be the case with a video. I got a lot of
helpful feedback from my group members and a couple other peers, they all provide worthwhile
suggestions which I could follow undoubtedly. I trusted their opinions because as the reader, it is
easier to spot flaws and mistakes.The biggest challenge of this assignment was trying to not be
repetitive throughout the essay, there was not a lack of material for me to explain and talk about,
but instead a lack of good writing skills to enable me to be concise at some points and elaborate
on others. My favorite parts of any of my essays is usually one or two lines that really stick out,
whether they be well thought out or powerful enough to make the reader think. In this particular
essay there are some lines that really strike that with me and engage me to think more about
myself and I like that. My experience with German is not very expansive, so there was not
