It is privately owned, and portions of the buildings are still home to the owners.
There is an admission fee, and an additional fee for the guided tour of the
palace. Opening hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the summer season
(March 16 through October 15), and 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. all other times. A
shuttle bus (fee) is available to take visitors from the parking lot to the castle
entrance. Allow about 2 hours to visit the castle. Best travel time is May through
October.
