Dear: Ms.

Figueroa

My experience as a writer has been a great journey throughout my life in school. From

elementary learning how to create sentences, to middle school learning how to build paragraphs,

to high school writing huge essays over these past couple of years in high school I improved a lot

on my writing I learned how to properly structure an essay with the help of my teacher and how

to maintain focus on my topic elaborate more in my ideas and evidence, quotes, and add a

variety of vocabulary that will my essay sound better and profound. What I have accomplished

this year is how to be a better writer as in having less mistakes on my essays, my punctuations,

and my spelling. These corrections will help me by becoming a better writer for the future if I go

to college and it will have me prepared for it. I have so many goals that I want for writing essays

to be successful as in not have no spelling errors, having all my commas, periods in the right

place and having longer more information in my paragraphs so it can look more professional and

profound. Through my reflections and my revisions I have experience and have done better on

my future assignments I have seen that I’ve done more efficient work on it and I would have less

mistakes than I would use to get before and from that I now I have learned that I should look

back on typed or written assignments so I can see what I did wrong and not makes the same

errors on essays that would have should to do, I want to do good then the other essays I’ve done.

My strengths in doing essays is that I tend to use smart and intense words. Other strengths I have

is I tend to elaborate and try my best on paragraphs. One of the essays I’ve recently done is the

Macbeth theme in society and I saw that I had less mistakes than I would have on pervious

essays and I feel like I did way better than before just because of the less errors I had. I also saw

that I added good quotes in my paragraphs that makes sense for readers if they know anything

about the bible or heard of it. What I think about the senior portfolio is that it was a good idea for
an assignment for seniors to graduate just because we just go back on pervious essays and just

correct what we did wrong and we just extend it and then were done with the extended essay.

This also helped because some of my themes in the essays were somewhat horrible and it gave

me the chance to change them so it can look better and have more detail about the story and what

it is about. Hopefully the accomplishments that I’ve acquired in my past essays will help me later

on in the future with harder essays that I’m going to have to do in college or some type of work

writing or typing paragraphs.

Sincerely,

Isaac Camacho
