Future career interests (if known):
I would like to be in the medical field such as a surgeon or a paediatrician.

Targeted soft skills you chose for this year:

1. I chose to get good grades

2. To try and not procrastinate

Description of artifact/assignment:

I got a perfect score on my second math test.

Why did you choose this as one of your artifacts/assignments?

I chose this artifact because it made me really proud for getting a perfect score.

What academic skills did you use that are specific to this artifact/assignment?

I wrote notes to use on the test, payed attention in class, and asked questions on anything I
didn’t understand.

What general academic skills did you use (skills that would be used in any academic class)?

I used notes to help me understand the test and to make it easier for myself and notes can
be used for any class.

Did you see growth in your targeted soft skills through the course of working on this
Artifact/Assignment? Explain.
Yes I did, I kept my grades up by doing good on test, turning in my homework on time. By
pushing off procrastination is what got me to my good grades I didn’t use any distractions.

Provide an example of how these academic and/or soft skills are used in a career in which you
are interested.

By leaving my distractions CHS Portfolio behind and focusing in my

grades college won’t be as stressful especially in the medical field because procrastinating
and not doing the work because of distractions would be bad.
