MODEL OF LILLI-SEPPORAKI AREA BASED ON BOUGUER
ANOMALY DATA ANALYSIS

Indonesia is a region formed by the interaction of three tectonik plates of the

earth that are moving each other. The movement of that tectonic plates could

cause the fault and it will affect the stength of rock in its path.To know the

existence of the fault structure and the condition of subsurface, so it is required

the gravity method. This method are measured the variations of gravitational

acceleration caused by the contrast rock density.

Gravity research done in around Lilli-Sepporaki area to knowing: Bouguer

anomaly, subsurface structure based on 2,5D modelling, and also 3D gravity

inversion. Data processing are used on this research, includes: gravity data

reduction, spectrum analysis on Bouguer anomaly data to estimate the depth of

anomaly, SVD analysis to estimate type of fault in research area, 2,5D modelling

and 3D inversion model to estimate subsurface structure and Lilli-Sepporaki

geothermal system on conceptual model.

Result of research show that: (1) Lilli-Sepporaki area based on Bouguer

anomaly is 44-67 mGal which low anomaly at North and high anomaly at South

of research area, (2) SVD analysis shows two of mayor fault aim at Northwest-

Southeast that are a shear fault and normal fault, and (3) 2,5D modelling result

shows that, a) cap rock zone was from alteration of rock Vulkanik Tak

Terpisahkan Formation (Tvt) with density value 2,27 gr/cm3 and resistivity <50

m, b) reservoir zone was from Andesite Porfir Formation (Tp) with density

value 2,45 gr/cm3 at 1000 m msl of depth and 500 m of thickness, c) heat source

is estimated originate from Andesit Feldspatoid Formation (Tf) with 2,95 gr/cm3

at 3000 m msl of depth.

Key words: Bouguer anomaly, SVD, 2,5D modelling, fault
